Aminohalogenation reaction of β-nitrostyrenes with N-halosuccinimides(N-chloro and N-bromosuccinimides) has been successfully conducted by using nickel acetate as a catalyst in the presence of potassium carbonate and succinimide as *** reaction was easily performed at room temperature under nitrogen gas protection to give dihalorinaed haloamino products in good to excellent yields(60%-98%).The structure has been confirmed by X-ray crystal structure analysis.

As a challenging task for bioluminescent tomography simulation, a virtual optical environment is needed to solve the forward problem accurately, that is, to achieve a high precision for bioluminescent signal synthesis on the external body surface of a small animal. The molecular optical simulation environment named MOSE is implemented using the C++ programming language and the OpenGL techniques, including a user-friendly interface with interactive tools facilitating users' operations. The accuracy of the virtual optical environment is verified by error analysis of mesh simplification and comparison between MOSE results and experimental data. This virtual optical environment is accurate, flexible and efficient to simulate the photon propagation in complicated tissues, which has a great potential to become a software platform for bioluminescent tomography studies and other molecular imaging applications.

FROM 1994-07-16 to 1994-07-2., 2. fragments of comet SL 9 impacted against Jupiter in succession. During the impact period the impact of fragments D, E, K, N, P2.and S was observed in china. We used a 1.56-m telescope with the CCD camera of Shanghai Observatory to monitor Jupiter and its Galilean Satellites, obtaining 1000 high-quality images at B, V, I wave bands. Our data on optical wave bands are rather complete and valuable in the world. Specially, we got some images of Jupiter, Io and Europa in the impact time of fragment P2.impacting against Jupiter. This will help us understand the precise time, position, depth and energy of the P2.s collision. In this note, we report the impact time of fragment P2.of comet SL 9 and Jupiter. 34 samples of Ru Guan porcelain body and 50 samples of Jun Guan porcelain body (both kinds being in different body colors) were selected with the purpose of finding out the source of raw materials and their classification relationship so as to search for ways of non-destructive discrimination. Proton induced X-ray emission (PIXE) has been applied to these samples to determine their chemical elements. The data of seven major chemical elements collected from these samples were further studied through fuzzy cluster analysis. Results indicate that the origin of raw materials of Jun Guan porcelain body samples is comparatively more concentrated in certain places, while that of Ru Guan porcelain body samples is scattered about. The places of origin of raw materials of the majority of Ru Guan and Jun Guan porcelain body samples have something in common, but some differences still exist. It might be an important way for non-destructive discrimination among Ru Guan and Jun Guan porcelains by combining PIXE with fuzzy cluster analysis.

Citral refined from litsea cubeba oil has been found to have a strong influence on fungi, especially Aspergillus flavus. Multiplex microanalysis and quasi-elastic light scattering techniques were applied to study the effects of citral on Aspergillus flavus spores from the levels of membrane, organelle and intracellular macromolecule. It was found that citral injured the wall and the membrane of A. flavus spore, resulting in decrease of its elasticity. After entering the cell, citral not only influenced the genetic expression of mitochondrion reduplication and its morphology, but also changed the aggregation of protein-like macromolecules. As a result, cells, organelles and macromolecules lost their normal structures and functions, eventually leading to the loss of germination ability of A. flavus spores. Since litsea cubeba oil as food additive and antifungal agent is safe and less poisonous, it is important to elucidate the inhibitory mechanisms of litsea cubeba oil on the germination ability of A. flavus spore.

The purpose of this paper is to study the pointwise and almost everywhere convergence of the Cesaro means (C,δ) of Fourier-Jacobi expansions, the main term of the Lebesgue constant of the (C ,8) means for - 12.is obtained. With the aid of the generalized translation in terms of Jacobi polynomials, pointwise convergence theorems of the (C,δ) means for δ>α+1/2.and equiconvergence theorems for - 12.are proved. The analogues of the Lebesgue, Salem and Young theorems of the Cesaro means at the critical index δ = α+1/2.are established.
