We introduce a transparent windshield-glass heater produced via transparent electrodes using silver nanowire （AgNW） networks for conventional use in the automobile industry. A high-quality conducting hybrid film is deposited on a plasma-treated glass substrate by spraying AgNWs, immersing the sprayed product in positively charged adhesive polymer solution, and then spraying negatively charged graphene oxide （GO） and a silane layer as an over-coating layer （OCL）.The results of heating tests conducted after adhesion tests show that the sheet resistance changes with the application of polymer glue. Surprisingly, the transmittance of the film with the GO OCL is higher than that of the film without the GO OCL. Heating and defrosting tests are carefully conducted via infrared （IR） monitoring. Adhesive-polymer-treated and GO-protected AgNW transparent glass heaters exhibit the best performance with low sheet resistance; thus, through strong electrostatic interaction among the substrate, adhesive layer, and OCL, our AgNW hybrid glass heater can reach the target temperature with a standard vehicle voltage of 12 V in a short period of time.

A closed-form wave equation analytic solution of two-dimensional scattering and diffraction of outof-plane（SH） waves by an almost semi-circular shallow cylindrical hill on a flat, elastic and homogeneous half space is proposed by applying the discrete Fourier series expansions of sine and cosine functions. The semi-circular hill problem is discussed as a special case for the new formulated *** with the previous semi-circular cases solutions, the present method can give surface displacement amplitudes which agrees well with previous results. Although the proposed equation can only solve the problem of SH-waves diffracted by almost semi-circular shallow hills, the stress and displacement residual amplitudes are numerical insignificantly everywhere. Moreover, the influences of the depth-towidth ratio（a parameter defined in this paper to evaluate the shallowness of the topography of hills） on ground motions are presented and summarized. The limitations and errors of truncation from Graf’s addition theorem and Fourier series equations in the present paper are also discussed.

Development of the functional endodermis of Arabidopsis thaliana roots is controlled, in part, by GRAS transcription factors, namely SHORT-ROOT （SHR）, SCARECROW （SCR）, and SCARECROW-LIKE 23 （SCL23）. Recently, it has been shown that the SHR-SCR-SCL23 regulatory module is also essential for spec- ification of the endodermis （known as the bundle sheath） in leaves. Nevertheless, compared with what is known about the role of the SHR-SCR-SCL23 regulatory network in roots, the molecular interactions of SHR, SCR, and SCL23 are much less understood in shoots. Here, we show that SHR forms protein com- plexes with SCL23 to regulate transcription of SCL23 in shoots, similar to the regulation mode of SCR expression. Our results indicate that SHR acts as master regulator to directly activate the expression of SCR and SCL23. In the SHR-SCR-SCL23 network, we found a previously uncharacterized negative feed- back loop whereby SCL23 modulates SHR levels. Through molecular, genetic, physiological, and morpho- logical analyses, we also reveal that the SHR-SCR-SCL23 module plays a key role in the formation of the endodermis （known as the starch sheath） in hypocotyls. Taken together, our results provide new insights into the regulatory role of the SHR-SCR-SCL23 network in the endodermis development in both roots and shoots.

This study on the development of a psychotherapy program based on the relationship between forests and human health focused on actively considering the natural ecological environment. This study categorized and compared an art psychotherapy program that simply moved to an outdoor space and a forest-art therapy program that actively utilized the forest environment as a medium. The characteristics of the natural environment, such as openness, change, and diversity, shortened the amount of time participants took to develop a rapport and open up and played a vital role in recovering mental health. After a bold attempt at integrating forest environment and art psychotherapy by going beyond outdoor art therapy, there were significant results pertaining to improvements in mental disorders in today’s society, including stress vulnerabilities, depression, anxiety, and aggression. The research results verified that the developed forest-art therapy method had greater efficacy in relation to both the Stress Vulnerability-Interpersonal Sensitivity Scale and the Stress Vulnerability-Self-Regulation Scale.

Nitric oxide(NO)has been shown to promote revascularization and nerve regeneration after peripheral nerve ***,in vivo application of NO remains challenging due to the lack of stable carrier materials capable of storing large amounts of NO molecules and releasing them on a clinically meaningful time ***,a silica nanoparticle system capable of reversible NO storage and release at a controlled and sustained rate was *** this study,NO-releasing silica nanoparticles(NO-SNs)were delivered to the peripheral nerves in rats after acute crush injury,mixed with natural hydrogel,to ensure the effective application of NO to the *** using a polymer dye and immunohistochemical staining for the detection of CD34(a marker for revascularization)results showed that NO-releasing silica nanoparticles increased revascularization at the crush site of the sciatic *** sciatic functional index revealed that there was a significant improvement in sciatic nerve function in NO-treated *** and anatomical analyses showed that the number of myelinated axons in the crushed sciatic nerve and wet muscle weight excised from NO-treated rats were ***,muscle function recovery was improved in rats treated with *** together,our results suggest that NO delivered to the injured sciatic nerve triggers enhanced revascularization at the lesion in the early phase after crushing injury,thereby promoting axonal regeneration and improving functional recovery.

AIM:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of dietary supplement of high dose DHA omega-3 in dry eye with meibomian gland dysfunction(MGD).METHODS:Prospective randomized double-masked,placebo-controlled clinical trial was conducted in mild to moderate dry eye patients with *** have no history of taking any dietary omega-3 supplements before 3 *** were divided into two groups:24 patients in the omega-3 group and 26 patients in the placebo *** omega-3 group received two capsules of Easyeye Dry?,total containing 600 mg of EPA and 1640 mg of DHA,while the placebo group received two capsules containing 3000 mg of olive *** patients take two pills once a *** examination of MGD scores,tear break-up time(TBUT),corneal staining test(NEI),strip meniscometry(SM tube),and ocular surface disease index(OSDI)scores were performed at baseline,after 4 and 8 ***:A total of 50 patients were *** were no differences in baseline characteristics between the two groups,such as age,sex,and other ocular examination *** TBUT,NEI,and OSDI scores significantly improved after 4 and 8 wk in both *** after 8 wk TBUT(6.00±1.62 s vs 5.08±1.28 s,P=0.034)and MGD score(7.2±1.8 vs 8.1±2.6,P=0.033)in the omega-3 group was more significantly improved than that of the placebo ***:Dry eye with the MGD patient,a high dose of DHA omega-3 dietary supplement can improve TBUT and MGD score after 8 wk,effective in stabilizing the tear film.

To attain the volumetric information of the optic radiation in normal human brains, we per- formed diffusion tensor imaging examination in 13 healthy volunteers. Simultaneously, we used a brain normalization method to reduce individual brain variation and increase the accuracy of volumetric information analysis. In addition, tractography-based group mapping method was also used to investigate the probability and distribution of the optic radiation pathways. Our results showed that the measured optic radiation fiber tract volume was a range of about 0.16% and that the fractional anisotropy value was about 0.53. Moreover, the optic radiation probability fiber pathway that was determined with diffusion tensor tractography-based group mapping was able to detect the location relatively accurately. We believe that our methods and results are help- ful in the study of optic radiation fiber tract information.

Water supply capability has been significantly reduced as water demand has been increased due to changes of the world's weather, causing the increase of drought frequency, and urbanization. In terms of water production, water can be secured by construction a dam or procuring substitute water. However, the study approaches in terms of management of water supply area to control the existing water efficiently. Therefore, water demand was estimated by buildings, by which water load of micro water supply area was calculated. As a result, the deviation of water demand for 1,357 micro water supply areas could be calculated while the alternatives to dissolve the spatial demand unbalance were suggested by two types. From the study, firstly, we could anticipate the total water supply demand from the total sum by filtration plants but it was not possible to anticipate the characteristics of distribution within urban areas. For this, the study attempted to anticipate the demand of each 250 thousands of buildings, comprehending the demand of micro areas. Secondly, based on the built results, we suggest the directions to dissolve the water demand unbalance between and among regions, which could be the foundation to suggest the concrete methodology in the future.
