The sintered Nd Fe B permanent magnets are widely used in various industries because of their excellent magnetic and comprehensive properties. However, they are seriously hindered to further developments and applications owing to its poor corrosion resistance. In this paper,TiO2/acrylic resin composite coatings were successfully prepared on the sintered Nd Fe B permanent magnets by electrochemical deposition for the first time, and the corrosion behaviors were investigated by using immersion testing and potentiodynamic polarization tests. It is found that the coating is a composite, being composed of polymerized acrylic resin as the matrix and nano-rutile TiO2particles（-200 nm） as the reinforcements. It is about25 lm in thickness and its surface and cross-section exhibit uniform and smooth with no pores, cracks, and other defects. Compared with those of the uncoated Nd Fe B magnets, the weight loss of the coated samples immersed in H2SO4 solution reduces by two orders of magnitude,corrosion current density decreases by four orders of magnitude, and the corrosion potential of the coated sample is shifted in the noble direction by 400 m V. The mechanisms of corrosive resistance enhancement were discussed.

In order to improve the corrosion resistance of the Mg alloys, the superhydrophobic coatings on AZ31 Mg alloy wereprepared by a two-step process of micro-arc oxidation treatment and superhydrophobic treatment in stearic acid ethanol solution. Theeffects of voltages, frequencies and treatment time on the contact angle of the superhydrophobic treated sample were *** results showed that with increasing the voltage, frequency and treatment time, all of the contact angles of the superhydrophobictreated sample increased first, and then decreased, reaching the maximum values at 350 V, 1000 Hz and 5 min, respectively. Theoptimal superhydrophobic coating was mainly composed of MgO and Mg2SiO4 phases, with the pore diameter of ～900 nm, thethickness of ～6.86 μm and the contact angle of 156.96°. The corrosion current density of the superhydrophobic AZ31 sampledecreased by three orders of magnitude, and the amount of hydrogen evolution decreased by 94.77% compared with that of the AZ31substrate sample.

This study identified castor oil and phosphate ester as effective retarders through setting time,tensile,and flexural tests,and determined their optimal *** mechanism by which phosphate ester affects the setting time of polyurethane was further investigated using molecular dynamics *** transform infrared spectroscopy was also employed to systematically study the physical and chemical interactions between phosphate esters and polyurethane *** results demonstrate that a 1%concentration of phosphate ester provides the most effective retarding effect with minimal impact on the strength of *** phosphate ester is added to the B component of the two-component polyurethane system,its interaction energy with component A decreases,as do the diffusion coefficient and aggregation degree of component B on the surface of component *** reduction in interaction slows the setting ***,the addition of phosphate ester to polyurethane leads to the disappearance or weakening of functional groups,indicating competitive interactions within the phosphate ester components that inhibit the reaction rate.

Regulated cell death is a form of cell death that is actively controlled by *** studies have shown that regulated cell death plays a key role after spinal cord *** and ferroptosis are newly discovered types of regulated cell deaths that have been shown to exacerbate inflammation and lead to cell death in damaged spinal ***,a complex form of cell death that is interconnected with various regulated cell death mechanisms,has garnered significant attention in the study of spinal cord *** injury triggers not only cell death but also cellular survival *** signaling pathways play pivotal roles in influencing the processes of both deterioration and repair in spinal cord injury by regulating pyroptosis,ferroptosis,and ***,this review aims to comprehensively examine the mechanisms underlying regulated cell deaths,the signaling pathways that modulate these mechanisms,and the potential therapeutic targets for spinal cord *** analysis suggests that targeting the common regulatory signaling pathways of different regulated cell deaths could be a promising strategy to promote cell survival and enhance the repair of spinal cord ***,a holistic approach that incorporates multiple regulated cell deaths and their regulatory pathways presents a promising multi-target therapeutic strategy for the management of spinal cord injury.

Preparation and Performance of Ternary Early Strength Agent and Quercetin Composite Cement Sealing Material

A ternary early-strengthening agent consisting of calcium formate+triethanolamine+lithium sulfate was compounded with quercetin to shorten the setting time of cementitious materials while ensuring their early *** optimum ratio of the three early-strengthening agents was determined as 0.5%calcium formate+0.04%triethanolamine+0.4%lithium sulfate by response surface *** effects of the ternary early-strengthening agent composed of calcium formate+triethanolamine(TEA)+lithium sulfate on cementitious pore sealing materials under the synergistic effect of quercetin were studied by means of the performance tests of compressive strength,fluidity,and setting time,and the microstructural characterizations of X-ray powder diffractometer(XRD),thermogravimetry(TG-DSC)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The study shows that the synergistic effect of ternary early-strengthening agent and quercetin forms a multi-performance composite admixture for cementitious *** best performance was obtained with the compounding scheme of 0.5%calcium formate+0.04%triethanolamine+0.4%lithium sulfate ternary early-strengthening agent and 0.05%*** compressive strength of 1,3,7,and 28 d are 94.8%,39.8%,42%,and 28%higher than those of the blank group,*** initial time and final setting time are 41 and 57 minutes,*** to the microscopic analysis,the network and fibrous C-S-H gels generated by ternary early-strengthening agents are attached to the surface promoted by quercetin,which forms skeleton support while thickening and solidifying the cement slurry,which enhances the early compressive strength of the cement-based materials.

Microglia,the primary immune cells within the brain,have gained recognition as a promising therapeutic target for managing neurodegenerative diseases within the central nervous system,including Parkinson’s *** perfluorocarbon droplets have been reported to not only possess a high oxygen-carrying capacity,but also exhibit remarkable anti-inflammatory ***,the role of perfluoropentane in microglia-mediated central inflammatory reactions remains poorly *** this study,we developed perfluoropentane-based oxygen-loaded nanodroplets(PFP-OLNDs)and found that pretreatment with these droplets suppressed the lipopolysaccharide-induced activation of M1-type microglia in vitro and in vivo,and suppressed microglial activation in a mouse model of Parkinson’s *** suppression led to a reduction in the inflammatory response,oxidative stress,and cell migration capacity in ***,the neurotoxic effects were mitigated,which alleviated neuronal ***,ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry showed that the anti-inflammatory effects of PFP-OLNDs mainly resulted from the modulation of microglial metabolic *** further showed that PFP-OLNDs regulated microglial metabolic reprogramming through the AKT-mTOR-HIF-1α***,our findings suggest that the novel PFP-OLNDs constructed in this study alleviate microglia-mediated central inflammatory reactions through metabolic reprogramming.

To obtain the lightweight,high strength,and high damping capacity porous NiTi alloys,the microwave sintering coupled with the Mg space holder technique was employed to prepare the porous NiTi *** microstructure,mechanical properties,phase transformation behavior,superelasticity,and damping capacity of the porous NiTi alloys were *** results show that the porous NiTi alloys are mainly composed of the B2 NiTi phase with a few B19'NiTi phase as the sintering temperature is lower than or equal to 900℃.With increasing the sintering temperature,the porosities of the porous NiTi alloys gradually decrease and the compressive strength increases first,reaching the maximum value at 900℃,and then *** increasing the Mg content from 1 wt.%to 7 wt.%,the porosities of the porous NiTi alloys increase from 37.8%to 47.1%,while the compressive strength decreases from 2058 to 1146 *** with the NH4HCO3 space holder,the phase transformation behavior of the porous NiTi alloys prepared with Mg space holder changes,and all of the compressive strength,superelasticity,shape memory effect and damping capacity are greatly improved.

The Ni−MoO_(2) heterostructure was synthesized in suit on porous bulk NiMo alloy by a facile powder metallurgy and hydrothermal *** results of field emission scanning electron microscopy(SEM),field emission transmission electron microscopy(TEM)and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)reveal that the as-prepared electrode possesses the heterostructure and a layer of Ni(OH)_(2) nanosheets is formed on the surface of Ni−MoO_(2) electrode simultaneously after hydrothermal treatment,which provides abundant interface and much active sites,as well as much active specific surface *** results of hydrogen evolution reaction indicate that the Ni−MoO_(2) heterostructure electrode exhibits excellent catalytic performance,requiring only 41 mV overpotential to reach the current density of 10 mA/cm^(2).It also possesses a small Tafel slope of 52.7 mV/dec and long-term stability of electrolysis in alkaline medium.

Developing organic room-temperature phosphorescence （RTP） materials with a wide range of tunable-emission is significant in expanding the applications of RTP ***,we rationally designed amphiphilic alternating copolymers poly(1,2-bis（4-alkoxyphenyl）ethane-1,2-dione-alt-（ethylene glycol）x)(P（Bz-alt-EGx）) that combined the advantage of alternating benzil and EGxskeleton,and tunable mainchain *** a mainchain conformation ordering assembly （COA） process,P（Bz-alt-EGx） self-assembled into well-defined platelets,and such assemblies emitted blue RTP at ca.425 nm due to the ordered folded-chain conformation and confined *** contrast,traditional self-assembly （TA） of P（Bz-alt-EGx） obtained less ordered aggregates,such as asymmetric worms,vesicles,and rod-like *** resultant less ordered aggregates exhibited yellow-green RTP at ca.550 *** wide-tuning RTP emission in solution （between blue and yellow-green,over125 nm） is realized using the P（Bz-alt-EGx） alternating copolymers under the treatment of different self-assembly *** study uncovers a new strategy to tailor the RTP emission through different self-assembly pathways and holds great promise for the fabrication of advanced optical materials.
