Objective:Autosomal recessive bestrophinopathy(ARB),a retinal degenerative disease,is characterized by central visual loss,yellowish multifocal diffuse subretinal deposits,and a dramatic decrease in the light peak on *** potential pathogenic mechanism involves mutations in the BEST1 gene,which encodes Ca2+-activated Cl−channels in the retinal pigment epithelium(RPE),resulting in degeneration of RPE and *** this study,the complete clinical characteristics of two Chinese ARB families were ***:Pacific Biosciences(PacBio)single-molecule real-time(SMRT)sequencing was performed on the probands to screen for disease-causing gene mutations,and Sanger sequencing was applied to validate variants in the patients and their family ***:Two novel mutations,c.202T>C(chr11:61722628,p.Y68H)and c.867+97G>A,in the BEST1 gene were identified in the two Chinese ARB *** novel missense mutation BEST1 c.202T>C(p.Y68H)resulted in the substitution of tyrosine with histidine in the N-terminal region of transmembrane domain 2 of *** novel variant,BEST1 c.867+97G>A(chr11:61725867),located in intron 7,might be considered a regulatory variant that changes allele-specific binding affinity based on motifs of important transcriptional ***:Our findings represent the first use of third-generation sequencing(TGS)to identify novel BEST1 mutations in patients with ARB,indicating that TGS can be a more accurate and efficient tool for identifying mutations in specific *** novel variants identified further broaden the mutation spectrum of BEST1 in the Chinese population.

Under the development of computing and network convergence,considering the computing and network resources of multiple providers as a whole in a computing force network(CFN)has gradually become a new ***,since each computing and network resource provider(CNRP)considers only its own interest and competes with other CNRPs,introducing multiple CNRPs will result in a lack of trust and difficulty in unified *** addition,concurrent users have different requirements,so there is an urgent need to study how to optimally match users and CNRPs on a many-to-many basis,to improve user satisfaction and ensure the utilization of limited *** this paper,we adopt a reputation model based on the beta distribution function to measure the credibility of CNRPs and propose a performance-based reputation update ***,we formalize the problem into a constrained multi-objective optimization problem and find feasible solutions using a modified fast and elitist non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm(NSGA-II).We conduct extensive simulations to evaluate the proposed *** results demonstrate that the proposed model and the problem formulation are valid,and the NSGA-II is effective and can find the Pareto set of CFN,which increases user satisfaction and resource ***,a set of solutions provided by the Pareto set give us more choices of the many-to-many matching of users and CNRPs according to the actual situation.

Metal-organic layers （MOLs）,a type of new-emerging two-dimensional ultrathin metal-organic framework materials with large surface areas and highly exposed active sites,have shown promising applications in photocatalytic ***,due to a lack of photosensitivity and photooxidation capability,photosensitizers and sacrificial reductants are usually necessary for MOLs-based photocatalytic CO2reduction *** this article,by integration of MOLs and quantum dots （QDs）,we constructed MOLs-based catalysts with multi-functions of photosensitivity,photoreduction and photooxidation,which thus can serve as photocatalysts for CO2reduction with H2O as an electron ***,by an electrostatic self-assembly approach,nickel（II）-based MOLs （Ni-MOLs） and CsPbBr3QDs have been assembled,constructing valid II-Scheme Ni-MOLs/CsPbBr3heterojunctions with close Ni-MOLs/*** a close heterointerface shortens the charge transfer distance,thus effectively boosting the charge separation and *** a result,upon illumination by visible light (λ≥400 nm,100 m W cm-2),the optimized photocatalyst shows high efficiency and stability in photochemical CO2reduction in the absence of any photosensitizers and sacrificial *** CO yield reaches as high as 124μmol g-1in 4 h,over 6 times higher than that achieved by ***,the selectivity reaches 100%.This work provides a new way to construct MOL-based catalysts for artificial photosynthesis.

为了进一步理解压气机叶栅通道内的非定常流动结构,采用大涡模拟(LES)方法研究了来流附面层厚度和稠度变化对叶栅通道内涡系结构及总压损失系数的影响。研究表明:来流附面层增厚将导致端壁处流体的轴向动能降低,使得马蹄涡压力面分支更早地流向相邻叶片吸力面;来流附面层越厚,通道涡在叶栅尾缘沿展向抬升的高度越高,角区分离的范围也越大;叶栅的总压损失随附面层增厚而增加,附面层损失增加显著,二次流损失有所增大;稠度较低时叶栅吸力面表面存在分离,会对通道涡及角区分离产生影响;稠度增大,横向压力梯度减小,叶栅流道的速度分布更均匀,通道涡的强度和尺度减小,角区分离的范围减小;稠度增大使叶表不再分离时,总压损失显著降低,但稠度继续增大会使气流与叶片表面的摩擦损失增加。

Retrograde adeno-associated viruses(AAVs)are capable of infecting the axons of projection neurons and serve as a powerful tool for the anatomical and functional characterization of neural ***,few retro-grade AAV capsids have been shown to offer access to cor-tical projection neurons across different species and enable the manipulation of neural function in non-human primates(NHPs).Here,we report the development of a novel retro-grade AAV capsid,AAV-DJ8R,which efficiently labeled cortical projection neurons after local administration into the striatum of mice and *** addition,intrastriatally injected AAV-DJ8R mediated opsin expression in the mouse motor cortex and induced robust behavioral ***,AAV-DJ8R markedly increased motor cortical neuron firing upon optogenetic light stimulation after viral delivery into the macaque *** data demonstrate the usefulness of AAV-DJ8R as an efficient retrograde tracer for cortical projection neurons in rodents and NHPs and indicate its suitability for use in conducting functional interrogations.

In this editorial,we discuss the recent article by Zhao et al published in the World Journal of Diabetes,which highlights the importance of recognizing the risk indicators associated with diabetes mellitus(DM).Given the severe implications of healthcare-associated infections(HAIs)in hospitalized individuals-such as heightened mortality rates,prolonged hospitalizations,and increased costs-we focus on elucidating the connection between DM and nosocomial *** patients are susceptible to pathogenic bacterial invasion and subsequent infection,with some already harboring co-infections upon ***,DM is an important risk factor for nosocomial urinary tract infections and surgical site infections,which may indirectly affect the occurrence of nosocomial bloodstream infections,especially in patients with DM with poor glycemic *** evidence regarding the impact of DM on healthcare-associated pneumonias remains inconclusive,attention to this potential association is *** patients with DM should prioritize meticulous blood glucose management,adherence to standard operating procedures,hand hygiene practices,environmental disinfection,and rational use of drugs during *** studies are imperative to explore the main risk factors of HAIs in patients with DM,enabling the development of preventative measures and mitigating the occurrence of HAIs in these patients.

The Li-and Mn-rich layered oxides(R-LNCM)are considered as promising cathode materials for high-energy density lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).However,the interface side reaction aggravates the voltage and capacity fading between cathode material and electrolyte at high voltage,which severely hinders the practical application of LIB ***,lithium polyacrylate(LiPAA)as the binder and coating agent is applied to suppress the voltage and capacity fading of R-LNCM *** flexible LiPAA layers with high elasticity are capable of impeding cathode cracks on the particle surface via mechanical stress ***,superior voltage and capacity fading suppression on R-LNCM electrode is finally *** a result,LiPAA-R-LNCM cathode exhibits a remarkable specific capacity of 186 mA·h·g^(-1)with~73%retention at 1℃after ***,the corresponding average discharge potential is maintained to~3.1 V with only~0.4 V falling.

This paper mainly investigates the approximation of a global maximizer of the Monge–Kantorovich mass transfer problem in higher dimensions through the approach of nonlinear partial differential equations with Dirichlet *** an approximation mechanism,the primal maximization problem can be transformed into a sequence of minimization *** applying the systematic canonical duality theory,one is able to derive a sequence of analytic solutions for the minimization *** the final analysis,the convergence of the sequence to an analytical global maximizer of the primal Monge–Kantorovich problem will be demonstrated.
