Fexofenadine is useful in various allergic disease ***,the pharmacokinetic variability information and quantitative factor identification of fexofenadine are very *** study aimed to verify the validity of previously proposed genetic factors through fexofenadine population pharmacokinetic modeling and to explore the quantitative correlations affecting the pharmacokinetic *** of the organic-anion-transporting-polypeptide(OATP)1B1 and 2B1 have been proposed to be closely related to fexofenadine pharmacokinetic ***,modeling was performed using fexofenadine oral exposure data according to the OATP1B1-and ***1B1 and 2B1 were identified as effective covariates of clearance(CL/F)and distribution volume(V/F)-CL/F,respectively,in fexofenadine pharmacokinetic ***/F and average steady-state plasma concentration of fexofenadine differed by up to 2.17-and 2.20-folds,respectively,depending on the OATP1B1 *** the individuals with different OATP2B1 polymorphisms,the CL/F and V/F differed by up to 1.73-and 2.00-folds,*** of the areas under the curves following single-and multiple-administrations,and the cumulative ratio were significantly different between OATP1B1-and 2B1-polymorphism *** on quantitative prediction comparison through a model-based approach,OATP1B1 was confirmed to be relatively more important than 2B1 regarding the degree of effect on fexofenadine pharmacokinetic *** on the established pharmacokineticpharmacodynamic relationship,the difference in fexofenadine efficacy according to genetic polymorphisms of OATP1B1 and 2B1 was 1.25-and 0.87-times,respectively,and genetic consideration of OATP1B1 was expected to be important in the pharmacodynamics area as *** population pharmacometrics study will be a very useful starting point for fexofenadine precision medicine.

Pharmacokinetic comparison with different assays for simultaneous determination of cis-,trans-cefprozil diastereomers in human plasma

The purpose of this study was to compare pharmacokinetic(PK)parameters obtained using two newly developed assays,HPLC-UV and UPLC-ESI-MS/*** of assay and results obtained therefrom are very important in PK studies and can have a major impact on the PK-based clinical dose and usage *** this study,we developed two new methods that are most commonly used in biosample analysis and focused on PK parameters obtained from *** HPLC-UV equipped with a Luna-C8 column using UV detector,cefprozil diastereomers were separated using water containing 2%(V/V)acetic acid and acetonitrile as a mobile *** UPLC-ESI-MS/MS equipped with a HALO-C18 column,cefprozil diastereomers were separated using 0.5%(V/V)aqueous formic acid containing 5 mM ammoniumformate buffer and methanol as a mobile *** showed high resolution,sensitivity,and selectivity without interference by plasma *** intra-and inter-day precisions(CV,%)were within 8.88%for HPLC-UV and UPLC-ESI-MS/*** of both methods was 95.67%-107.50%.These two analytical methods satisfied the criteria of international guidance and could be successfully applied to PK *** of PK parameters between two assays confirmed that there is a difference in the predicted minimum plasma concentrations at steady state,which may affect clinical dose and usage ***,we confirmed possible correlation between PK parameters and various biochemical parameters after oral administration of 1000 mg cefprozil to humans.

Gumiganghwal-tang is a traditional herbal medicine widely used for its anti-inflammatory,analgesic,and antipyretic ***,the safety and efficacy of its active ingredients based on an in vivo pharmacokinetic(PK)study have yet been *** have established a sensitive and accurate UPLC-ESI-MS/MS method and conducted a PK study on 14 constituents of Gumiganghwal-tang through human plasma *** conditions were optimized according to the physicochemical properties of the 14 compounds to facilitate efficient separation and eliminate overlap or interference between ***-C18 and Inertsil-C8 columns were used as UPLC stationary phases,and acetonitrile and aqueous formic acid were used as mobile *** the analytes were quantified with a triple quadrupole mass spectrometer using electrospray ionization in multiple reaction monitoring *** chromatograms of 14 bioactive compounds showed excellent elution and sensitivity,and each peak was selectively separated and quantified without interference with each other or *** established analytical method was based on international guidelines and was successfully used to perform PK studies of 14 herbal ingredients in humans after oral administration with Gumiganghwal-tang *** oral absorption of most active components of Gumiganghwal-tang was relatively rapid and remained considerably long in the body to be quantified in plasma up to 48 h after administration.

Enhanced Oxidation Resistance of Iron Nanoparticles via Surface Modification in Chemical Vapor Condensation Process

In order to prevent the oxide formation on the surface of nano-size iron particles and thereby to improve the oxidation resistance in ordinary condition, iron nanoparticles synthesized by a chemical vapor condensation method were directly soaked in hexadecanethiol solution to coat them with a polymer layer. Oxygen content in the polymer-coated iron nanoparticles was significantly lower than that in usual air-passivated particles possessing iron-core/oxide-shell structure. Accordingly, oxidation resistance of the polymer-coated particles at an elevated temperature below 130℃ in air was 10-40 times higher than that of the normally passivated particles.

Saccharomyces boulardii as a single trigger of food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome: Seven case reports

BACKGROUND Food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome(FPIES)is the most serious type of non-immunoglobulin E(IgE)-mediated food allergic reaction manifesting as sepsis-like symptom,which can lead to *** boulardii(***),a probiotic prescribed frequently in clinical settings,has been reported to trigger FPIES in an infant with soy-triggered *** this report,we describe a new clinical FPIES in which *** was the sole triggering factor of acute FPIES adverse reaction in seven healthy *** SUMMARY Seven FPIES cases triggered by only *** were gathered from 2011 to the *** of the patients had previously experienced any allergic reaction to cow’s milk,soy,or complementary *** age of the patients was 4-10-months old,and the symptoms of FPIES developed after ingestion of ***,which is mostly prescribed for the treatment of gastroenteritis or antibiotic-associated *** patients experienced severe repetitive vomiting 1-3 hours after *** *** lethargy,marked pallor,and cyanosis were also *** IgE-mediated hypersensitivity developed in any *** was followed by initial intense vomiting in approximately 5-10 hours after *** ingestion,and only one case showed bloody,purulent,and foul-smelling *** patients stabilized quickly,mostly within 6 *** got all improved within 24 hours after discontinuation of *** *** can be the sole trigger of acute FPIES and be prescribed cautiously even in healthy children without FPIES.

Optimization of rotor shape for constant torque improvement and radial magnetic force minimization

The design of notch and barrier was optimized in order to improve the characteristics of constant torque while minimizing the cogging torque that occurs as a result of teeth and slot structure. The barrier was installed in order to minimize the cogging torque and torque ripple by finite element method (FEM) with a reduced barrier width toward the center of magnetic pole. The position and width of notch, which can offset cogging torque, can be calculated with energy distribution of air-gap using Fourier series. The optimized model demonstrates a 60% decrease in the cogging torque, a 75.3% decrease in the torque ripple and a 3% increase in the operating torque when compared with the basic model.

Examining global warming factors using self-organizing map and Granger causality network:a case from South Korea

Background Understanding and patterning the possible causal variables of global warming is attributed to the development of effective prevention and mitigation strategies for climate ***,we aimed to pattern and visualize the possible causal variables of global warming and measure the causality between *** We patterned and visualized the time series(103 years,from 1918 to 2020)of global surface temperature(GTemp)data with the gross domestic product(GDP)per capita,human population(Pop),and carbon dioxide(CO_(2))emissions of South Korea using a self-organizing map(SOM)and examined the causable local feature of global warming using the Granger causality(GC)*** time-series data were trained and mapped in 4×4 SOM grids,and causality networks between variables were examined using multivariate Granger test *** SOM patterned 103 years of data,and a dominant cluster contained continuous time-series data from 2007 to ***,the CO_(2)emissions of South Korea were obtained as a predictable unidirectional causal variable for GTemp from GC *** on data from the past 34 years,significant causality(p-value=0.01)was observed with the integrated effect of Pop,GDP,and CO_(2)on *** This study patterned the time-series data using SOM and examined the causal relationship between variables using the GC *** study framework could be used as a reference by future scholars,ecologists,and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

1932年5月5日中日签订《淞沪停战协定》,在上海及其周边地区划定所谓“停战区”,对中国主权造成极大损害。值得注意的是,“停战区”范围除协定规定者外,事实上还包括苏州河以南与浦东地区,极大限制了中国军队的驻扎与调动。在“停战区”问题上,中方长期忍气吞声,受日方压迫,进而书面承诺,致使“停战区”机制完全确立。列强则纵容日方扩张在沪军事利益,进行偏向性的“国际协调”。然而,受局部抗战走向的影响,停战协定效力的限度愈发凸显,国民政府期待废约,日方的侵略野心则导致它必然要打破“停战区”的限定。因此,日本威慑下的“停战区”机制最终导致上海再次发生大规模战争,“八一三”战事成为“停战区”的破局点。“停战区”机制是推动局部抗战走向全面抗战的重要因素。
