Two-dimensional magnets have received increasing attention since Cr_2Ge_2Te_6 and CrI_3 were experimentally exfoliated and measured in 2017. Although layered ferromagnetic metals were demonstrated at room temperature, a layered ferromagnetic semiconductor with high Curie temperature(Tc) is yet to be unveiled. Here, we theoretically predicted a family of high Tcferromagnetic monolayers, namely MnNX and CrCX(X = Cl, Br and I; C = S, Se and Te). Their Tcvalues were predicted from over 100 K to near 500 K with Monte Carlo simulations using an anisotropic Heisenberg model. Eight members among them show semiconducting bandgaps varying from roughly 0.23 to 1.85 eV. These semiconducting monolayers also show extremely large anisotropy, i.e. ～10~1 for effective masses and ～10~2 for carrier mobilities, along the two in-plane lattice directions of these layers. Additional orbital anisotropy leads to a spin-locked linear dichroism, in different from previously known circular and linear dichroisms in layered *** with the mobility anisotropy, it offers a spin-, dichroism-and mobility-anisotropy *** results manifest the potential of this 2D family for both fundamental research and high performance spin-dependent electronic and optoelectronic devices.

It is a meaningful and challenging work for structural and synthetic chemists to isolate nano-sized high-nuclearity *** this work,two largest hetero-metallic nano-clusters Gd_(158)Co_(38) were obtained via the“multi-anions-template”*** from the reported giant hollow-nano-clusters,the Ln_(158) core in Gd_(158)Co_(38)(the protein-sized nano-clusters,ca.4.3 nm×3.6 nm×3.5 nm)has the highest Ln nuclear number,which is integrated by twelve halide ions(with the form of icosahedron)as key templates,while Co ions(as 3d metals)are located in its *** emergence indicates a novel structure form of non-open Ln-containing high-nuclearity clusters,and affords a consummate pattern to analyse and assemble the complex *** addition,Gd_(158)Co_(38)@Cl_(12)breaks the record magnetic entropy change of 3d-4f clusters with−∆S_(m)^(max)=46.95 J kg^(−1)K^(−1)at 7.0 T,2.0 K.

A numerical study of vortex-induced rotations(VIRs) of an equivalent triangular cylinder, which is free to rotate in the azimuthal direction in a uniform flow, is presented. Based on an immersed boundary method, the numerical model is established, and is verified through the benchmark problem of flow past a freely rotating rectangular *** computation is performed for a fixed reduced mass of m~*=2.0 and the structural stiffness and damping ratio are set to zero. The effects of Reynolds number(Re=25-180) on the characteristics of VIR are studied. It is found that the dynamic response of the triangular cylinder exhibits four distinct modes with increasing Re: a rest position,periodic rotational oscillation, random rotation and autorotation. For the rotational oscillation mode, the cylinder undergoes a periodic vibration around an equilibrium position with one side facing the incoming flow. Since the rotation effect, the outset of vortex shedding from cylinder shifts to a much lower Reynolds number. Further increase in Re leads to 2 P and P+S vortex shedding modes besides the typical 2 S pattern. Our simulation results also elucidate that the free rotation significantly changes the drag and lift forces. Inspired by these facts, the effect of free rotation on flow-induced vibration of a triangular cylinder in the in-line and transverse directions is investigated. The results show that when the translational vibration is coupled with rotation, the triangular cylinder presents a galloping response instead of vortex-induced vibration(VIV).

Combined with flow-injection (FI) technology, a simple chemiluminescence (CL) method was developed for hydrazine determination in this paper. It was found that hydrazine could greatly decrease the strong CL signal produced by the reaction between luminol and hexacyanoferrate (III) in alkaline medium. The decreased CL intensity was linear with hydrazine concentration in the range of 5.0×10-9 g·mL-1 to 4.0×10-5 g·mL-1, and the limit of detection was 2.0×10-9 g·mL-1 (3σ) with a relative standard deviation of 2.4~4.1% (n=5).

The combined effects of （Y, Cu） on the microstructttre and room-temperature mechanical properties of the NiA1 intermetallic com- pound under uniaxial compression stress were investigated. It is found that the co-addition of Y and Cu enlarges the difference between the inter- granular yield strength and the intragranular yield strength of NiA1 grains. Hence, for the resultant NiAI-（Y,Cu） alloy, a mechanically hierar- chical structure forms. This is beneficial to improve the room-temperature mechanical response of NiA1 alloys; as a result, the resultant alloy with 0.56at% （Y, Cu） exhibits a remarkably enhanced compression plasticity of about 11.2%.

Spectral reflectance in the near-infrared （NIR） shoulder （750-900 nm） region is affected by internal leaf structure, but it has rarely been investigated. In this study, a dehydration treatment and three paraquat herbicide applications were conducted to explore how spectral reflectance and shape in the NIR shoulder region responded to various stresses. A new spectral ratio index in the NIR shoulder region （NSRI）, defined by a simple ratio of reflectance at 890 nm to reflectance at 780 nm, was proposed for assessing leaf structure deterioration. Firstly, a wavelength-independent increase in spectral reflectance in the NIR shoulder region was observed from the mature leaves with slight dehydration. An increase in spectral slope in the NIR shoulder would be expected only when water stress developed sufficiently to cause severe leaf dehydration resulting in an alteration in cell structure. Secondly, the alteration of leaf cell structure caused by Paraquat herbicide applications resulted in a wavelength-dependent variation of spectral reflectance in the NIR shoulder region. The NSRI in the NIR shoulder region increased significantly under an herbicide application. Although the dehydration process also occurred with the herbicide injury, NSRI is more sensitive to herbicide injury than the water-related indices （water index and normalized difference water index） and normalized difference vegetation index. Finally, the sensitivity of NSRI to stripe rust in winter wheat was examined, yielding a determination coefficient of 0.61, which is more significant than normalized difference vegetation index （NDVI）, water index （WI） and normalized difference water index （NDWI）, with a determination coefficient of 0.45, 0.36 and 0.13, respectively. In this study, all experimental results demonstrated that NSRI will increase with internal leaf structure deterioration, and it is also a sensitive spectral index for herbicide injury or stripe rust in winter wheat.

Fluorescein angiography(FA)is a standard imaging modality for evaluating vascular abnormalities in retina-related diseases,which is recognized as the major cause of vision ***-term and real-time fundus angiography is of great importance in preclinical research,nevertheless remaining big challenges up to *** this study,we demonstrate that long-term fluorescence imaging of retinal vessels is enabled through a kind of fluorescent nanoagents,which is made of small-sized(hydrodynamic diameter:∼3 nm)silicon nanoparticles(SiNPs)featuring strong fluorescence,robust photostability,lengthened blood residency and negligible *** particular,the presented SiNPs-based nanoagents are capable of imaging retinal capillaries in∼10 min,which is around 10-fold longer than that(∼1 min)of fluorescein sodium(FS,known as the most widely used contrast agents for FA in clinic).Taking cynomolgus macaques as non-human primate-animal model,we further demonstrate the feasibility of real-time diagnosis of retinal diseases(e.g.,age-related macular degeneration(AMD))through dynamic monitoring of vascular dysfunction.

Synthesis and Adsorption Properties of Polystyrene-supported Chelating Resins Containing Heterocyclic Functional Groups

A series of new chelating resins with incorporating heterocyclic functional groups： pyridine, thiadizole, benzothizole into macroporous chloromethylated polystyrene were synthesized via hydrophilic spacer arm of polyethylene glycol containing sulfur. These chelating resins were found to show high adsorption capacities for Ag^＋, Hg^2＋, Au^3＋ and Pd^2＋, and the presence of spacer arm can enhance adsorption ability due to increase the hydrophilicity of the chelating resins.

Safe and long lifespan batteries facilitate the development of portable electronics and electric *** to the low-cost,naturally abundance,and trivalent charge carrier of aluminum with the highest theoretical volumetric capacity,rechargeable aqueous aluminum-ion-based batteries are considered as promising next-generation secondary ***,traditional electrolytes and frequent collapse of the host structure of electrode materials greatly jeopardize the cycle stability of the ***,we develop a novel hydrogel-based electrolyte coupled with stable layered intercalation electrodes for the first time to fabricate a highly safe and flexible rechargeable hybrid Al^(3^(+))/H^(+)*** as-fabricated hybrid-ion battery(HIB)delivers a high specific capacity of 125 mAh·g^(−1) at 0.1 A·g^(−1) and exhibits an unprecedented super long-term cycling stability with no capacity fading over 10,000 cycles at 2 A·g^(−1).In addition,the hydrogel-based electrolyte possesses smart function of thermoresponsive switching,which can effectively prevent thermal runaway for the *** unprecedented long cycle stability,highly intrinsic safety as well as low-cost indicate that the flexible aqueous HIBs are promising for applications.
