Background Necrotizing enterocolitis(NEC)is the most common severe gastrointestinal emergency in *** designed this study to identify the pathogenic microorganisms of NEC in the microbiota of the small intestine of *** Using the 16S ribosomal DNA(rDNA)sequencing method,we compared and analyzed the structure and diversity of microbiotas in the intestinal feces of different groups of neonates:patients undergoing jejunostomy to treat NEC(NP group),neonates undergoing jejunostomy to treat other conditions(NN group),and neonates with NEC undergoing conservative treatment(NC group).We took intestinal feces and saliva samples from patients at different time *** The beta diversities of the NP,NN,and NC groups were all *** comparing the beta diversities between different time points in the NP group,we found similar beta diversities at time points El to E3 but significant differences between the E2-E3 and E4 time points:the abundances of Klebsiella and Enterococcus(Proteobacteria)were higher at the E1-E3 time points;the abundance of Escherichia-Shigella(Proteobacteria)increased at the E2 time point,and the abundance of Klebsiella decreased significantly,whereas that of Streptococcus increased significantly at the E4 time *** Our results suggest that the pathological changes of intestinal necrosis in the small intestine of infants with NEC are not directly caused by excessive proliferation of pathogenic bacteria in the small *** sources of microbiota in the small intestine of neonates,especially in premature infants,may be affected by multiple factors.

Accelerating the detection of unfeasible hypothetical zeolites via symmetric local interatomic distance criteria

In silico prediction of potential synthetic targets is the prerequisite for function-led discovery of new zeolites. Millions of hypothetical zeolitic structures have been predicted via various computational methods, but most of them are experimentally inaccessible under conventional synthetic *** out unfeasible structures is crucial for the selection of synthetic targets with desired *** local interatomic distance（LID） criteria are a set of structure rules strictly obeyed by all existing zeolite framework types. Using these criteria, many unfeasible hypothetical structures have been detected. However, to calculate their LIDs, all hypothetical structures need to be fully optimized without symmetry constraints. When evaluating a large number of hypothetical structures, such calculations may become too computationally expensive due to the forbiddingly high degree of freedom. Here, we propose calculating LIDs among structures optimized with symmetry constraints and using them as new structure evaluation criteria, i.e., the LIDsymcriteria, to screen out unfeasible hypothetical structures. We find that the LIDsymcriteria can detect unfeasible structures as many as the original non-symmetric LID criteria do, yet require at least one order of magnitude less computation at the initial geometry optimization stage.

Two new acetylated flavonoid diglycosides, scutellarein-5-O-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-（1 → 4）-β-D-6-O-acetylglucopyranoside]（1）, apigenin-5-O-[α-L-rhamnopyranosyl-（1→ 2）-β-D-3,6-di-O-acetylglucopyranoside] （2）, were isolated from the leaves of Cephalotaxus sinensis. Their structures were determined by chemical and spectroscopic methods including HR-FAB-MS,^1H-^1H COSY, HSQC and HMBC experiments.

A robust viscoelastic surfactant tolerating 20% HCl up to 150℃ for oil well stimulation

Viscoelastic surfactants(VES)are often used as viscous diverters in acidizing stimulation to prolong the acid consumption time and maximize zonal coverage of the acid for improving well ***,the ceiling temperature of commercial VES cannot exceed 120℃in practical use because of the poor thermal stability and fragile molecular structure,hindering their implementation in hightemperature oil reservoirs,i.e.,≥150℃.Here we synthesized a novel C22-tailed diamine,N-erucaminopropyl-N,N-dimethylamine(EDPA),and examined comparatively its rheological behavior,assemblies morphology and molecular stability in 20 wt%HCl with a commercial VES,erucyl dimethyl amidopropyl betaine(EDAB).The feasibility of EDPA for acidizing stimulation was assessed by acid etching of carbonate rock with its HCl solution at 150℃.Rheological results showed that the 2.5 wt%EDPA—20 wt%HCl solution maintains stable viscosity of 90 m Pa s at 150℃for 60 min,while that of 2.0 wt%EDAB HCl solution is just 1 m Pa s under identical conditions.1H NMR spectra and cryo-TEM observations revealed that the chemical structure and self-assembled architectures of EDPA remained intact in such context,but the EDAB suffered from degradation due to the hydrolysis of the amide group,accounting for the poor heat-resistance and *** reaction rate of 2.5 wt%EDPA HCl solution with carbonate rock was one order of magnitude lower than that of 20 wt%HCl solution at 150℃,underpinning the potential of EDPA to be used in the high-temperature reservoirs *** work improved the thermal tolerance of VES in highly concentrated HCl solution,paving a feasible way for the acidization of high-temperature reservoir environments(~150℃).

Olefin polymerization is one of the most im portant chemical reactions in *** work presents a strategy that emphasizes the synergistic meta/poro-steric hindrance of N-aryl groups and electronic effects in newly synthesized neutral salicylaldiminato nickel *** nickel(Ⅱ)catalysts exhibit exceptional thermostability,ranging from 30℃to 130℃,demonstrating enhanced catalytic activities and broadly regulated polyethylene molecular weights(3-341 kg·mol^(-1))and controlled polymer branch density(2-102 brs/1000C).The preferred catalyst Ni3 with concerted steric and electronic effects enables the production of solid-state semi-crystalline polyethylene materials at temperatures below 90℃.Notably,Ni3 exhibits an impressive tolerance of 110℃and can withstand even the challenging polymerization temperature of 130℃,leading to the production of polyethylene wax and ***,functionalized polyethylene is produced.

Analysis of mechanical strengths of extreme line casing joint considering geometric, material, and contact nonlinearities

To address the challenges associated with difficult casing running,limited annular space,and poor cementing quality in the completion of ultra-deep wells,the extreme line casing offers an effective solution over conventional ***,due to its smaller size,the joint strength of extreme line casing is reduced,which may cause failure when running in the *** address this issue,this study focuses on the CST-ZTΦ139.7 mm×7.72 mm extreme line casing and employs the elastic-plastic mechanics to establish a comprehensive analysis of the casing joint,taking into account the influence of geometric and material nonlinearities.A finite element model is developed to analyze the forces and deformations of the extreme line casing joint under axial tension and external collapse *** model investigates the stress distribution of each thread tooth subjected to various tensile forces and external ***,the tensile strength and crushing strength of the extreme line casing joint are determined through both analytical and experimental *** findings reveal that,under axial tensile load,the bearing surface of each thread tooth experiences uneven stress,with relatively high equivalent stress at the root of each thread *** end thread teeth are valuable spots for *** is observed that the critical fracture axial load of thread decreases linearly with the increase of thread tooth *** external pressure,the circumferential stress is highest at the small end of the external thread,leading to yield *** tensile strength of the joint obtained from the finite element model exhibits a relative error of less than 7%compared to the analytical and experimental values,proving the reliability of the finite element *** tensile strength of the joint is 3091.9 k ***,in terms of anti-collapse capability,the joints demonstrate higher resistance to collapse compared to the casing body,which is consistent with the test resul

Dye molecules often change colors(so-called “chromism”) according to the environment variation. However, they are rarely induced by a catalytic amount of cavity. Through encapsulation in the cavity of a porous coordination cage(PCC-2), Rhodamine B(1) is transformed from red quinonoid form(1q) into colorless lactone form(1l) in aprotic polar solutions. The μ4-OH groups in the cavity of PCC-2 are shown to stabilize the uncommon zwitterion intermediate(1z), followed by converting to 1l, thus accelerating the equilibrium. The chromism is catalyzed by 0.25 mol% of PCC-2, and the reaction rate is improved by 80,400times. 1@PCC-2 can be further fabricated to a sol-gel that exhibits ion recognition properties. The resulting encapsulation and stabilization of an unconventional intermediate by a catalytic amount of the coordination cage provides fundamental insights into molecular isomerization and has potential use in chemical sensing.

Cloning and Characterization of Adinbitor,a Novel Disintegrin from the Snake Venom of Agkistrodon halys brevicaudus stejneger

Adinbitor was cloned from Agkistrodon halys brevicaudus stejneger and characterized as a novel disintegrin. In this study, total RNA was extracted from venom gland and used in RT-PCR to generate a cDNA which is 219 bp long. The sequence encoded a polypeptide composed of 73 amino acids, including 12 cysteines, an RGD motif, and the signature motif of disintergrin. Recombinant Adinbitor (rAdinbitor) was expressed in E. coli and purified by using the His?Bind affinity chromatography. The IC50 for inhibiting human platelet aggregation and bFGF-induced proliferation of ECV304 cells was 6 μΜ and 0.89 μΜ respectively. Furthermore, Adinbitor significantly inhibited angiogenesis both in vivo and in vitro. Taken together, these results suggested that Adinbitor had typical functions of disintegrins.

Efficient wide-bandgap perovskite solar cells with open-circuit voltage deficit below 0.4 V via hole-selective interface engineering

Wide-bandgap mixed-halide perovskite solar cells(WBG-PSCs)are promising top cells for efficient tandem photovoltaics to achieve high power conversion efficiency(PCE)at low ***,the open-circuit voltage(V_(OC))of WBG-PSCs is still unsatisfactory as the V_(OC)-deficit is generally larger than 0.45 ***,we report a buried interface engineering strategy that substantially improves the V_(OC)of WBG-PSCs by inserting amphiphilic molecular hole-selective materials featuring with a cyanovinyl phosphonic acid(CPA)anchoring group between the perovskite and *** assembly and redistribution of CPA-based amphiphilic molecules at the perovskite-substrate buried interface not only promotes the growth of a low-defect crystalline perovskite thin film,but also suppresses the photo-induced halide phase *** energy level alignment between wide-bandgap perovskite and the hole-selective layer is further improved by modulating the substituents on the triphenylamine donor moiety(methoxyls for MPA-CPA,methyls for Me PA-CPA,and bare TPA-CPA).Using a 1.68 e V bandgap perovskite,the Me PA-CPA-based devices achieved an unprecedentedly high V_(OC)of 1.29 V and PCE of 22.3%under standard AM 1.5 *** V_(OC)-deficit(<0.40 V)is the lowest value reported for *** work not only provides an effective approach to decreasing the V_(OC)-deficit of WBG-PSCs,but also confirms the importance of energy level alignment at the charge-selective layers in PSCs.
