Kagome magnets with diverse topological quantum responses are crucial for next-generation topological *** anisotropic magnetism and band evolution induced by ferromagnetic phase transition(FMPT)is reported in a newly discovered titanium-based kagome ferromagnet Sm Ti3Bi4,which features a distorted Ti kagome lattice and Sm atomic zig-zag ***-dependent resistivity,heat capacity,and magnetic susceptibility reveal a ferromagnetic ordering temperature Tc of23.2 K.A large magnetic anisotropy,observed by applying the magnetic field along three crystallographic axes,identifies the b axis as the easy ***-resolved photoemission spectroscopy with first-principles calculations unveils the characteristic kagome motif,including the Dirac point at the Fermi level and multiple van Hove ***,a band splitting and gap closing attributed to FMPT is observed,originating from the exchange coupling between Sm 4 f local moments and itinerant electrons of the kagome Ti atoms,as well as the time-reversal symmetry breaking induced by the long-range ferromagnetic *** the large in-plane magnetization and the evolution of electronic structure under the influence of ferromagnetic ordering,such materials promise to be a new platform for exploring the intricate electronic properties and magnetic phases based on the kagome lattice.

Laser 3D printing,also known as laser additive manufacturing(LAM),is favored for its ability to form bulk metallic glass(BMG)and its composite materials(BMGcs)with freeform *** this work,two different kinds of Fe_(41)Co_(7)Cr_(15)Mo_(14)C_(15)B_(6)Y_(2)amorphous coatings(A and B)were prepared by using LAM technology under air-and water-cooled conditions,respectively;meanwhile,to reduce the cracks generated due to the residual thermal stresses,coating C obtained by air-sweep annealing of B with a low energy-density *** morphology and amorphous content and microstructure of the coatings were investigated,the results show many cracks in coating B deposited under water-cooled conditions,and its microstructure shows an amorphous-crystal-nanocrystalline mixed *** was suppressed in coating C,obtained by air-sweep annealing based on coating B,but the amorphous content was reduced from 32.6 to 13.4%.And the hardness and corrosion resistance of the coating will increase with the increase in the amorphous ***,the internal friction behavior of a BMGcs was prepared on the basis of the process of sample C is compared with that of as-cast amorphous *** results show that the low temperature internal friction behavior of BMGcs is affected by the defects produced during printing,and the high temperature internal friction behavior is affected by the precipitated hard phase.

Background:Irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)substantially affects quality of life and requires early *** study aimed to elucidate the relationships between IBS and daily behaviors,including sedentary behavior(SB),physical activity(PA),and *** particular,it seeks to identify healthy behaviors to reduce IBS risk,which previous studies have rarely ***:Daily behaviors were retrieved from self-reported data of 362,193 eligible UK Biobank *** cases were determined by self-report or health care data according to RomeⅣ***:A total of 345,388 participants were IBS-free at baseline,during a median follow-up of 8.45 years,19,885 incident IBS cases were *** examined individually,SB and shorter(≤7 h/day)or longer(>7 h/day)sleep duration were each positively associated with increased IBS risk,and PA was associated with lower IBS *** isotemporal substitution model suggested that replacing SB with other activities could provide further protective effects against IBS *** people sleeping≤7 h/day,replacing 1 h of SB with equivalent light PA,vigorous PA,or sleep was associated with 8.1%(95%confidence interval(95%CI):0.901-0.937),5.8%(95%CI:0.896-0.991),and 9.2%(95%CI:0.885-0.932)reduced IBS risk,*** people sleeping>7 h/day,light and vigorous PA were associated with a 4.8%(95%CI:0.926-0.978)and a 12.0%(95%CI:0.815-0.949)lower IBS risk,*** benefits were mostly independent of genetic risk for ***:SB and unhealthy sleep duration are risk factors for IBS.A promising way to mitigate IBS risk for individuals sleeping≤7 h/day and for those sleeping>7 h/day appears to be by replacing SB with adequate sleep or vigorous PA,respectively,regardless of the genetic predisposition of IBS.

The high throughput prediction of the thermodynamic phase behavior of active pharmaceutical ingredients(APIs)with pharmaceutically relevant excipients remains a major scientific challenge in the screening of pharmaceutical *** this work,a developed machine-learning model efficiently predicts the solubility of APIs in polymers by learning the phase equilibrium principle and using a few molecular *** the few-shot learning framework,thermodynamic theory(perturbed-chain statistical associating fluid theory)was used for data augmentation,and computational chemistry was applied for molecular descriptors'*** results showed that the developed machine-learning model can predict the API-polymer phase diagram accurately,broaden the solubility data of APIs in polymers,and reproduce the relationship between API solubility and the interaction mechanisms between API and polymer successfully,which provided efficient guidance for the development of pharmaceutical formulations.

Wearable electronics integrated with stretchable sensors are considered a promising and non-invasive strategy to monitor respiratory status for health ***,long-term and stable monitoring of respiratory abnormality is still a grand ***,we report a facile one-step thermal stretching strategy to fabricate an anti-fatigue ionic gel(AIG)sensor with high fatigue threshold(0=1130 J m^(–2)),high stability(>20,000 cycles),high linear sensitivity,and recyclability.A multimodal wearable respiratory monitoring system(WRMS)developed with AIG sensors can continuously measure respiratory abnormality(single-sensor mode)and compliance(multi-sensor mode)by monitoring the movement of the ribcage and abdomen in a long-term *** single-sensor mode,the respiratory frequency(Fr),respiratory energy(Er),and inspire/expire time(I/E ratio)can be extracted to evaluate the respiratory status during sitting,sporting,and ***,the multi-sensors mode is developed to evaluate patientventilator asynchrony through validated clinical criteria by monitoring the incongruous movement of the chest and abdomen,which shows great potential for both daily home care and clinical applications.

The mixing of powders is a highly relevant field under additive manufacturing,however,it has attracted limited interest to *** in-situ mixing of various powders remains a significant *** paper proposes a new method utilizing a static mixer for the in-situ mixing of multiple powders through the laser-based directed energy deposition(DED)of functionally graded ***,a powder-mixing experimental platform was established;WC and 316L powders were selected for the mixing ***,scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive spectroscopy,and image processing were used to visually evaluate the homogeneity and proportion of the in-situ mixed ***,powder-mixing simulations were conducted to determine the powder-mixing *** the simulations,a powder carrier gas flow field and particle mixing were ***,a WC/316L metal matrix composite sample was produced using laser-based DED to verify the application potential of the static *** was found that the static mixer could adjust the powder ratio online,and a response time of 1–2 s should be considered when adjusting the ratio of the mixed powder.A feasible approach for in-situ powder mixing for laser-based DED was demonstrated and investigated,creating the basis for functionally graded materials.

Surface waves have a considerable effect on vertical mixing in the upper *** the past two decades,the vertical mixing induced through nonbreaking surface waves has been used in ocean and climate models to improve the simulation of the upper *** far,several nonbreaking wave-induced mixing parameterization schemes have been proposed;however,no quantitative comparison has been performed among *** this paper,a one-dimensional ocean model was used to compare the performances of five schemes,including those of Qiao et al.(Q),Hu and Wang(HW),huang and Qiao(HQ),Pleskachevsky et al.(P),and Ghantous and Babanin(GB).Similar to previous studies,all of these schemes can decrease the simulated sea surface temperature(SST),increase the subsurface temperature,and deepen the mixed layer,thereby alleviating the common thermal deviation problem of the ocean model for upper ocean *** these schemes,the HQ scheme exhibited the weakest wave-induced mixing effect,and the HW scheme exhibited the strongest effect;the other three schemes exhibited roughly the same *** particular,the Q and P schemes exhibited nearly the same *** the simulation based on observations from the Ocean Weather Station Papa,the HQ scheme exhibited the best performance,followed by the Q *** the experiment with the HQ scheme,the root-mean-square deviation of the simulated SST from the observations was 0.43℃,and the mixed layer depth(MLD)was 2.0 *** a contrast,the deviations of the SST and MLD reached 1.25℃ and 8.4 m,respectively,in the experiment without wave-induced mixing.

Two-dimensional carbon-based materials have shown promising electromagnetic wave absorption capabilities in mid-and high-frequency ranges,but face challenges in low-frequency absorption due to limited control over polarization response mecha-nisms and ambiguous resonance *** this study,we pro-pose a novel approach to enhance absorption efficiency in aligned three-dimensional(3D)MXene/CNF(cellulose nanofibers)cavities by modifying polarization properties and manipulating resonance response in the 3D MXene *** controlled polarization mechanism results in a significant shift of the main absorption region from the X-band to the S-band,leading to a remarkable reflection loss value of-47.9 dB in the low-frequency ***,our findings revealed the importance of the oriented electromagnetic coupling in influencing electromagnetic response and microwave absorption *** present study inspired us to develop a generic strategy for low-frequency tuned absorption in the absence of magnetic element participation,while orientation-induced polarization and the derived magnetic resonance coupling are the key controlling factors of the method.

Accurate aerodynamic distribution perception and real-time flight state evaluation are crucial for flight safety,e.g.,stall ***,the observations are usually sparse due to limitations in sensor mounting space and cost,and a reconstruction technology is urgently ***,a machine learning-assisted assimilation method based on sparse observations has been *** from the traditional reconstruction methods focusing on boundary condition correction,the proposed method formulates the flow field pressure distribution as a linear superposition of flow field modes,thereby forming a real-time reconstruction pattern that combines offline modal extraction using computational fluid dynamics(CFD)with real-time determination of modal weights using a neural *** this study,CFD simulations were conducted under 800different operating conditions for common modal extraction and model *** weights of these modes were determined online based on merely five observations for reconstructing the full pressure field.A pressure reconstruction with a relative error of 6.1%and a mean square error of 0.003 was achieved within the prescribed condition *** computational cost was just2 ms for each reconstruction run,significantly faster than the 20 min required by the classical reconstruction ensemble transform Kalman *** also showed that the method maintains almost the same accuracy amidst 1.5%measurement *** practical examples,shock waves and the change of lift coefficient were analyzed using the proposed method,providing remarkable evidence for the capability of the method in supporting stall *** validate the method’s effectiveness and explore its potential in real-time and accurate monitoring of an aircraft.
