Let t be a positive integer and A be a hereditary abelian category satisfying some finiteness *** define the semi-derived Ringel-Hall algebra of A from the category C_(Z/t)(A)of Z/t-graded complexes and obtain a natural basis of the semi-derived Ringel-Hall ***,we describe the semiderived Ringel-Hall algebra by the generators and defining *** particular,if t is an odd integer,we show an embedding of the derived Hall algebra of the odd-periodic relative derived category in the extended semi-derived Ringel-Hall algebra.

Chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome(CP/CPPS),also known as National Institutes of Health(NIH)type Ⅲ prostatitis,is a common disorder with an unclear etiology and no known curative *** on the presence or absence of leukocytes in expressed prostatic secretion(EPS),CP/CPPS is classifiedfurther into Illa(inflammatory)and Illb(noninflammatory)***,the severity of symptoms is not entirely consistent with the white blood cell(WBC)*** the preliminary finding of a link between inflammatory cytokines and CP/CPPS,we performed this clinical study with the aim of identifying cytokines that are differentially expressed according to whether the prostatitis subtype is Ⅲa or Ⅲ*** found that granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(G-CSF),interleukin-18(IL-18),and monocyte chemoattractant protein-1(MCP-1)levels were significantly elevated and interferon-inducible protein-10(IP-10)and platelet-derived growth factor-BB(PDGF-BB)levels were downregulated in the EPS of patients with type Ⅲa *** a word,it is a meaningful study in which we investigate the levels of various cytokines in EPS according to whether prostatitis is the Ⅲa or Ⅲb *** combination of G-CSF,IL-18,MCP-1,IP-10,and PDGF-BB expression levels could form a basis for classification,diagnosis,and therapeutic targets in clinical P/CPPS.

The mixing of powders is a highly relevant field under additive manufacturing,however,it has attracted limited interest to *** in-situ mixing of various powders remains a significant *** paper proposes a new method utilizing a static mixer for the in-situ mixing of multiple powders through the laser-based directed energy deposition(DED)of functionally graded ***,a powder-mixing experimental platform was established;WC and 316L powders were selected for the mixing ***,scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive spectroscopy,and image processing were used to visually evaluate the homogeneity and proportion of the in-situ mixed ***,powder-mixing simulations were conducted to determine the powder-mixing *** the simulations,a powder carrier gas flow field and particle mixing were ***,a WC/316L metal matrix composite sample was produced using laser-based DED to verify the application potential of the static *** was found that the static mixer could adjust the powder ratio online,and a response time of 1–2 s should be considered when adjusting the ratio of the mixed powder.A feasible approach for in-situ powder mixing for laser-based DED was demonstrated and investigated,creating the basis for functionally graded materials.

Aiming at improving the survey efficiency of the Wide Field Survey Telescope, we have developed a basic scheduling strategy that takes into account the telescope characteristics, observing conditions, and weather conditions at the Lenghu site. The sky area is divided into rectangular regions, referred to as “tiles,” with a size of2°. 577 × 2°. 634 slightly smaller than the focal area of the mosaic CCDs. These tiles are continuously filled in annulars parallel to the equator. The brightness of the sky background, which varies with the moon phase and distance from the moon, plays a significant role in determining the accessible survey fields. Approximately 50connected tiles are grouped into one block for observation. To optimize the survey schedule, we perform simulations by taking into account the length of exposures, data readout, telescope slewing, and all relevant observing conditions. We utilize the Greedy Algorithm for scheduling optimization. Additionally, we propose a dedicated dithering pattern to cover the gaps between CCDs and the four corners of the mosaic CCD array, which are located outside of the 3° field of view. This dithering pattern helps to achieve relatively uniform exposure maps for the final survey outputs.

Linearizability is universally accepted as a correctness criterion for concurrent objects. However, it has been shown that linearizability cannot be adopted as a correctness criterion for concurrent objects with random sentences. Thus, Golab et al. proposed the concept of strong linearizability, which adds prefix preservation properties based on the linearizability definition and has more constraints for concurrent objects. The research on strong linearizability focuses on the feasibility of generating strongly linearizable objects with certain basic objects, while only a few studies are about checking and verification of strong linearizability. This study investigates strong linearizability from two aspects including the verification algorithm and approach for proving non-strong linearizability of concurrent objects. First, it divides strong linearizability into fixed effective points and pure help and proves that the notion of fixed effective points is an extension of that of fixed linearizability points. Then, two verification algorithms for strong linearizability are put forward. One algorithm is based on checking the fixed linearizability points, and the other is based on the fixed effective points. Finally, an approach is provided for proving that the concurrent objects violate strong linearizability, and it helps verify that the Herlihy&Wing queue, a single-reader single-write register, and a snapshot object violate strong linearizability. © 2024 Chinese Academy of Sciences. The support vector machine(SVM)is a classical machine learning *** the hinge loss and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)penalty are usually used in traditional ***,the hinge loss is not differentiable,and the LASSO penalty does not have the Oracle *** this paper,the huberized loss is combined with non-convex penalties to obtain a model that has the advantages of both the computational simplicity and the Oracle property,contributing to higher accuracy than traditional *** is experimentally demonstrated that the two non-convex huberized-SVM methods,smoothly clipped absolute deviation huberized-SVM(SCAD-HSVM)and minimax concave penalty huberized-SVM(MCP-HSVM),outperform the traditional SVM method in terms of the prediction accuracy and classifier *** are also superior in terms of variable selection,especially when there is a high linear correlation between the *** they are applied to the prediction of listed companies,the variables that can affect and predict financial distress are accurately filtered *** all the indicators,the indicators per share have the greatest influence while those of solvency have the weakest *** companies can assess the financial situation with the indicators screened by our algorithm and make an early warning of their possible financial distress in advance with higher precision.

Aqueous zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs)are attaining increasing attention for their high safety and low *** significant progresses in realizing high-performance cathode material for ZIBs,simultaneously endowing them with high capacity and fast-charging capability,the long-term cycling stability remains a major unsolved *** this work,a polyoxovanadate cluster of(NH_(4))_(8)[V_(19)O_(41)(OH)_(9)]·11H_(2)O(NOV)is defined as a cathode material for ZIBs that contains mixed-valence vanadium sites(V^(4+)and V^(5+)).A maximum of 26 electrons can be accommodated in one[V_(19)O_(41)(OH)_(9)]^(8-){V_(19)O_(50)}cluster,contributing to the high theoretical specific capacity of 328 mA·h·g^(-1).The Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) MXene nanosheets are incorporated into NOV with the help of ionic liquid(IL)linkers to restrain the dissolution of vanadium species and facilitate electron transport across the *** interfacial bonding,anion exchange,and electrostatic interactions among NOV and MXene are provided by IL *** nanohybrid of NOV-IL-MXene endows excellent contact between MXene and NOV,thereby enhanced charge transfer is observed at ***,the as-synthesized NOV-IL-MXene cathodes exhibit high discharge capacity of 413 mA·h·g^(-1) at 0.2 A·g^(-1) even at high mass loading of 5.2 mg·cm^(-2),remarkable rate performance of 182 mA·h·g^(-1) at 10 A·g^(-1),and impressive cycling stability of 94%capacity retention after 2000 *** work opens up new opportunities to develop advanced polyoxovanadate hybrid cathodes for low-cost and high-performance aqueous ZIBs.
