Anastomosing hemangioma is a type of tumor lesion of benign behavior scarcely documented, it has been observed in renal parenchyma, testicles, ovaries and adrenal glands, it is usually prone to perirenal and renal medullary adipose tissue. In this case report, we present an anastomosed hemangioma in the right kidney of a 33-year-old woman, with previous coexistence of breast cancer, in which an unusual behavior was detected, with characteristics of vascular lesion, in this case we report: The classic conditions, its heterogeneous nature and the vascular alterations that presents in different imaging modalities.

BACKgROUND Acute fibroid complications are ***,failure to recognize and treat acute complications expeditiously when they occur can lead to catastrophic,even deadly,*** is a rare but potentially fatal condition resulting from infarction and infection of a fibroid through bacterial seeding and direct,hematogenous,or lymphatic *** though the diagnosis is established through clinical and laboratory findings,imaging is an important complementary method to support the suspected *** SUMMARY Herein,we report a case of a pyomyoma in a nulliparous woman previously diagnosed with uterine leiomyomatosis according to ultrasound *** patient had previously attended the emergency room due to hypogastric pain unresponsive to *** a week of persistent pain,she developed sepsis without any identifiable *** resonance imaging revealed findings compatible with uterine myomatosis with red degeneration,and a possible diagnosis of a pyomyoma was made according to the imaging findings along with the patient’s clinical *** decided to perform myomectomy(which is an infrequently performed surgical treatment due to the procedure’s intrinsic implic-ations)due to the patient’s desire to preserve *** results revealed a uterine leiomyoma with coagulative and liquefactive necrosis,while the tissue culture showed gram-negative cocci bacteria,which were successfully treated using antibiotic *** patient’s health status improved after several *** The main diagnostic tools to evaluate pyomyomas are the clinical and laboratory findings as well as tissue ***,magnetic resonance imaging can help to corroborate these findings as well as to better characterize myomas with its different complications.

Fluoropyrimidines play a central role in the first-line treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer. Our aim was to review whether capecitabine was a safer, non-inferior, economically superior and more convenient alternative to 5-fluorouracil. Capecitabine has previously been compared to 5-fluorouracil-either as a monotherapy or in combination with oxaliplatin, irinotecan, or biological drugs-and has been found to have comparable efficacy and safety profiles. Furthermore, pharmacoeconomic data and patients’ preferences for oral chemotherapy further favor capecitabine. Therefore, capecitabine appears to be an effective and safe alternative to fluorouracil in the first-line treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer.

Endothelium-derived relaxing factors contribute to smooth muscle relaxation. The aim of the present study was to investigate the contribution of nitric oxide (NO) produced in the endothelial cells to the vasodilatation stimulated with forskolin in rat aorta. Forskolin that directly activates adenylyl-cyclase, induced complete relaxation in phenylephrine-contracted aortas. Endothelium removal reduced the potency (pEC50) of forskolin without changes in the maximum effect (Emax). However, the inhibitor of endothelial NO-synthase (10 μM L- Ng-Nitroarginine, L-NNA) reduced both Emax and pEC50 in intact endothelium aortic rings. L-NNA or L-NNA plus cyclooxygenase inhibitor indomethacin (10 μM) reduced both Emax and pEC50 of forskolin. Forskolin increased both the cytosolic Ca+2 concentration and the cytosolic NO concentration ([NO]c) in the endothelial cells. The PKA inhibitor KT5720 reduced the NO production activated by forskolin in the endothelial cells. The enhanced [NO]c in the endothelial cells increased cyclic guanosine-monophosphate (cgMP) in smooth muscle cells, which was abolished by L-NNA. Taken together, our results indicate that vasodilatation mediated by forskolin in rat aortic rings is potentiated by NO production in endothelial cells that increases the cgMP levels in the smooth muscle cells that along with cAMP contribute to the vasodilatation.

This alteration depends on the severity degree of the liver disease, clinical characteristics of the patient, and comorbidities presence such as kidney disease and drug biochemistry. Insulin is considered a safe therapeutic strategy in patients with CLD, however, for many oral hypoglycemic agents, its use and dose adjustment will depend on the Child-Pugh score, based on the risk of hypoglycemia in this type of patient.
