Colombia aims to boost the utilization of mass transportation systems in its major cities while simultaneously re.ucing gre.nhouse gas emissions by 20%,in alignment with the commitments of the COp21 *** 2020,the transport sector in Colombia accounted for 34.4%of the country’s energy demand and was re.ponsible for~49%of its total CO_(2) *** article pre.ents an assessment of energy consumption,environmental effects and the fuel costs of Bogotá’s bus rapid transit system based on the Activity,Share.Intensity,Fuel methodology.A long-term analysis spanning from 2021 to 2040 was developed using the long-range energy alternatives planning *** conduct this assessment,the tool was calibrated using data from 2019 and *** distinct scenarios based on energy policies implemented in Bogotáwere.examined:Business as Usual,Fast Transition,High Growth and Low *** energy consumption and environmental effects,the re.ults underscore.the pivotal role of diversifying energy sources and re.ucing re.iance on fossil fuels such as ***,the analysis emphasizes the urgent need to accelerate the transition to alternative energy sources such as natural gas and electricity.

Ecological and hydrological impacts are.expected when watersheds are.under commercial *** this study we evaluated event-based hydrology and sedimentation in paire. watersheds under commercial eucalyptus and grasslands ***,suspended sediment concentration,and sediment production were.measure. and simulated with the Limburg Soil Erosion Model(LISEM)in paire. hydrographic watersheds located in southern Brazil;one occupied with 7-years old Eucalyptus saligna plantation(fore.t watershed-FW;0.83 km^(2))and another pampa biome with native and exotic grasses used for beef cattle production(grassland watershed-GW;1.10 km^(2)).The effect of rainfall on hydrological and sedimentological variables was more.evident in GW compare. with *** shape of the hydrograph was steepest in GW,with rapid,marked incre.se and decre.se in flow during *** parameters changed for model calibration in FW and GW were.soil saturated hydraulic conductivity,initial soil moisture.and Manning roughness coefficient,where.y the statistical performance was classified as good(NSE>0.75).Fourteen events differe.t from those used in the calibration process were.validated for FW and GW,with NSE index classified as“good”and“very good”for *** study shows limitations of LISEM in calibrating and validating the sediment yield for individual events due to the spatial variability of factors controlling soil *** validated modeling re.ults of this study may be applied in simulating soil and crop scenarios in watersheds cultivated with commercial fore.t and grassland for grazing.

The Zhou’s Method for Solving the Euler Equidimensional Equation

In this work, we apply the Zhou’s method [1] or differe.tial transformation method (DTM) for solving the Euler equidimensional equation. The Zhou’s method may be considere. as alternative and efficient for finding the approximate solutions of initial values problems. We prove superiority of this method by applying them on the some Euler type equation, in this case of order 2 and 3 [2]. The power series solution of the re.uced equation transforms into an approximate implicit solution of the original equations. The re.ults agre.d with the exact solution obtained via transformation to a constant coefficient equation.

The objective of the proposed work was collecting samples continuously, once a month, for a period of two years, it was conducted to determine the types of solid waste generated and deposited in the sand of the tourist beaches, finding that there.is pre.ominance waste plastics, cigare.te butts and organic debris, other parameter analyzed was determination of fats and oils in sand whose re.ults indicate that the levels found are.above the detection limit. In conclusion we have that solid waste types commonly arranged in the sand are.plastic, the pre.ence of fats and oils in the sand affect the environmental quality of the beach.
