One of the problems in virtual globes technologies is the real-time representation of vegetal *** forest or garden representations,the low detailed plants produce a lack of *** techniques are required to achieve accurate interactive visualisation due to the great number of polygons the vegetal species *** article presents a multi-resolution model based on a geometric representation of vegetal species that allows the application to perform the progressive transmission of the model,that is,the transmission of a simple representation followed by successive refinements of *** has a hardware-oriented design in order to obtain interactive frame *** geometric data of the objects are stored in the graphics processing unit and,moreover,the change from one approximation to another is obtained by performing mathematical calcula-tions in this graphics *** multi-resolution model presented here enables instancing:as many vegetal species as desired can be rendered with different levels of detail,while all of them are accessing the same geometric *** model has been used to build a real-time representation of a not imaginary scenario.

The human intestinal tract is home to an enormous bacterial flora. The host defense against microorganisms can be divided into innate and adaptive immunity. The former is the most immediate line of response to immunologic challenges presented by bacteria, viruses, and fungi. The mucosal immune system has evolved to balance the need to respond to pathogens while co-existing with commensal bacteria and food antigens. In inflammatory bowel disease （IBD）, this hyporesponsiveness or tolerance breaks down and inflammation supervenes driven by the intestinal microbial flora. Bacteria contain compounds and are recognized by a variety of receptors, including Toll-like receptors （TLRs） and NODs （a family of intracellular bacterial sensors） and are potent stimuli of innate immune responses. Several mutations in these receptors have been associated with development of IBD.

Recognition of pathogens by Toll-like receptors （TLR） activate multiple signaling cascades and expression of genes tailored to mount a primary immune response, inflammation, cell survival and apoptosis. Although TLR-induced activation of pathways, such as nuclear factor kappaB （NF-κB） and mitogen-activated protein kinases （MAPK）, has been well studied, molecular entities controlling quantitative regulation of these pathways during an immune response remain poorly defined. We identified Sam68 as a novel regulator of TLR-induced NF-κB and MAPK activation. We found that TLR2 and TLR3 are totally dependent, whereas TLR4 is only partially dependent on Sam68 to induce the activation of NF-KB c-Rel. Absence of Sam68 greatly decreased TLR2- and TLR3-induced NF-κB p65 activation, whereas TLR4- induced p65 activation in a Sam68-independent manner. In contrast, Sam68 appeared to be a negative regulator of MAPK pathways because absence of Sam68 enhanced TLR2-induced activation of extracellular signal-regulated kinases （ERK） and c-Jun N-terminal kinases （JNK）. Interestingly, TLR2- and TLR3-induced gene expression showed a differential requirement of Sam68. Absence of Sam68 impaired TLR2-induced gene expression, suggesting that Sam68 has a critical role in myeloid differentiation primary response gene 88-dependent TLR2 signaling. TLR3-induced gene expression that utilize Toll/Interleukin-1 receptor-domain-containing adapter-inducing beta interferon pathway, depend only partially on Sam68. Our findings suggest that Sam68 may function as an immune rheostat that balances the activation of NF-κB p65 and c-Rel, as well as MAPK, revealing a potential novel target to manipulate TLR signaling.

Metabolism is a fundamental process by which biochemicals are broken down to produce energy(catabolism) or used to build macromolecules(anabolism). Metabolism has received renewed attention as a mechanism that generates molecules that modulate multiple cellular responses. This was first identified in cancer cells as the Warburg effect, but it is also present in immunocompetent cells. Studies have revealed a bidirectional influence of cellular metabolism and immune cell function, highlighting the significance of metabolic reprogramming in immune cell activation and effector functions. Metabolic processes such as glycolysis, oxidative phosphorylation, and fatty acid oxidation have been shown to undergo dynamic changes during immune cell response, facilitating the energetic and biosynthetic demands. This review aims to provide a better understanding of the metabolic reprogramming that occurs in different immune cells upon activation, with a special focus on central nervous system disorders. Understanding the metabolic changes of the immune response not only provides insights into the fundamental mechanisms that regulate immune cell function but also opens new approaches for therapeutic strategies aimed at manipulating the immune system.

Three-phase induction motors are becoming increasingly utilized in industrialﬁeld due to their better efﬁciency and simple *** speed control of an induction motor is essential in a variety of applications,but it is dif-ﬁcult to *** research analyses the three-phase induction motor’s perfor-mance usingﬁeld-oriented control(FOC)and direct torque control(DTC)*** major aim of this work is to provide a critical evaluation of devel-oping a simple speed controller for induction motors with improving the perfor-mance of Induction Motor(IM).For controlling a motor,different optimization approaches are accessible;in this research,a Fuzzy Logic Controller(FLC)with Fractional Order Darwinian Particle Swarm Optimization(FODPSO)algorithm is presented to control the induction *** FOC and DTC are controlled using FODPSO,and their performance is compared to the traditional FOC and DTC *** scheme had its own simulation model,and the results were com-pared using hardware experimental and *** terms of time domain speciﬁcations and torque improvement,the proposed technique surpasses the existing method.

The application of gene transfer technologies to the treatment of cancer has led to the development of new experimental approaches like gene directed enzyme/pro- drug therapy (GDEPT), inhibition of oncogenes and restoration of tumor-suppressor genes. In addition, gene therapy has a big impact on other fields like cancer immunotherapy, anti-angiogenic therapy and virotherapy. These strategies are being evaluated for the treatment of primary and metastatic liver cancer and some of them have reached clinical phases. We present a review on the basis and the actual status of gene therapy approaches applied to liver cancer.

New light curves and photometric solutions of FP Lyn,FV CVn and V354 UMa are *** found that these three systems are W-subtype shallow contact *** addition,it is obvious that the light curves of FP Lyn and V354 UMa are ***,a hot spot was added on the primary star of FP Lyn and a dark spot was added on the secondary star of V354 *** the same time,we added a third light to the photometric solution of FP Lyn for the final *** obtained mass ratios and fill-out factors are q = 1.153 and f = 13.4% for FP Lyn,q = 1.075 and f = 4.6% for FV CVn,and q = 3.623 and f = 10.7% for V354 UMa *** investigations of orbital period for these three systems indicate that the periods are *** Lyn and V354 UMa were discovered to have secularly increasing components with rates of dp/dt = 4.19 ×10^-7 dyr^-1 and dp/dt = 7.70 ×10^-7 dyr^-1 respectively,which are feasibly caused by conservative mass transfer from the less massive component to the more massive *** addition,some variable components were discovered for FV CVn,including a rate of dp/dt =-1.13 ×10^-6 dyr^-1 accompanied by a cyclic oscillation with amplitude and period of 0.0069 d and 10.65 yr *** most likely explanation for the long-term decrease is angular momentum *** existence of an additional star is the most plausible explanation for the periodic variation.

The simulation of hydrogen purification in a mixture gas of hydrogen/carbon dioxide (H2/CO2) by metal hydride system was *** lumped parameter model was developed and *** validated model was implemented on the software Matlab/Simulink to simulate the present *** simulation results demonstrate that the purification efficiency depends on the external pressure and the venting *** increase in the external pressure and enough venting time makes it possible to effectively remove the impurities from the tank during the venting process and allows to desorb pure *** impurities are partially removed from the tank for low external pressure and venting time during the venting process and the desorbed hydrogen is *** parameters such as the overall heat transfer coefficient,solid material mass,supply pressure,and the ambient temperature influence the purification system in terms of the hydrogen recovery *** increase in the overall heat transfer coefficient,solid material mass,and supply pressure improves the hydrogen recovery rate while a decrease in the ambient temperature enhances the recovery rate.

The expansion of the Internet of Moving Things(IoMT)leads to limitless and continuous working playgrounds exploited by highly dynamic end *** requires the adoption of multi-Radio Access Technologies(RATs)-based strategies to provide IoMT units with ubiquitous *** this end,the development of secure bootstrapping and authentication mechanisms is necessary to permit the secure operation of end *** the transmission and power limitations of these elements,current cryptographic solutions do not address these stringent *** that reason,in the study we present a Multi-Access Edge Computing(MEC)-based endto-end architecture that enables an efficient and secure authentication and key agreement between end devices and network servers over heterogeneous resource-limited networks such as the Low Power Wide Area Networks(LPWANs).Our proposal is based on the Authentication,Authorization,and Accounting(AAA)architecture and the recent Internet Engineering Task Force initiatives Static Context Header Compression and Low-Overhead *** results obtained from experimental tests reveal the validity of the proposal as it enables constrained IoMT devices to gain IPv6 connectivity as well as performs end-to-end secure authentication with notable reliability and controlled latency.
