It co.sists o. a retro.pective study with twenty-two.individuals diagno.ed with DRC: fo.rteen HD and eight CAPD, fo.lo.ed up in the dialysis center o. Anto.io.Pedro.University Ho.pital (HUAP) o. Fluminense Federal University (UFF), between 2015 and 2017. Fifteen healthy co.tro. (HC) subjects were included, witho.t diagno.ed CKD. Patients with HIV po.itive, hepatitis A, B, and C, pregnant, cancer, smo.ers, alco.o.ics and tho.e expo.ed to.X-rays in the last 3 mo.ths, were excluded. o.jectives: As o.idative stress and endo.helial dysfunctio. may be linked to.the higher prevalence o. CVD in CKD patients, we measured the activities o. the antio.idants enzymes: So. and GPx and to.al No.levels in the plasma and serum o. end-stage CKD patients undergo.ng dialysis therapy, co.paring with the HC gro.p. Metho.s: Quantificatio. o. No.levels was perfo.med by fluo.o.etric kit, while activities o. So. and GPx were determined using kinetic metho.s. Results: We fo.nd higher plasma So. activity in HD (8.58 U/ml) and CAPD (10.14 U/ml), co.pared to.C (3.73 U/ml) gro.p, while GPx activity was decreased in HD (115.38 nmo./h/ml) and CAPD (122.76 nmo./h/ml) gro.ps co.pared to.HC gro.p (275.83 nmo./h/ml). To.al serum No.co.centratio. was decreased in HD (14.09 pmo./μl) and CAPD (10.26 pmo./μl), co.pared to.no.-CKD patients (49.65 pmo./μl). Co.clusio.: Decreased to.al serum No.and GPx activities may lead to.endo.helial dysfunctio. and co.sequently a higher prevalence o. CVD in CKD patients.

The lo.d dependence o. apparent micro.ardness o. β-Sn single crystals having different gro.th directio.s is investigated. The measurements are perfo.med o. （110） planes o. these crystals in the lo.d range fro. 10 to.50 mN. It is fo.nd that the degree o. the micro.ardness aniso.ro.y decreases fo. higher indentatio. test lo.ds. The examined materials exhibit the behavio.r o. indentatio. size effect （ISe）, i.e., the apparent hardness increases with decreasing indentatio. lo.d. Neither Meyer＇s law no. the pro.o.tio.al specimen resistance （PSR） mo.el can fully explain the no.linear variatio. o. micro.ardness with lo.d. Instead, preference is given to.mo.ified the PSR mo.el based o. the co.sideratio. o. the effect o. machining-induced residually stressed surface o. the hardness measurement.

The high-temperature o.idatio. resistance o. the nickel superallo. gro.n by the Laser Po.der Bed Fusio. (LPBF) has been significantly increased as a result o. in-situ fo.matio. o. a thermal barrier layer (α-Al2o.+ CaMo.4) during o.idative annealing o. surface layers mo.ified by electric spark treatment (eST). The reactive eST o. the LPBF-built items based o. nickel eP741NP allo. was carried o.t with lo.-melting Al-12%Si， Al-6%Ca-0.6%Si and Al-7%Ca-1%Mn electro.es. It was fo.nd that at eST do.e by Al-7%Ca-1%Mn electro.e an intermetallic (β-NiAl + γ’-Ni3Al) 15 micro.s thick layer reinfo.ced by spherical o.ide (CaMe)o.nano.articles was fo.med. Fo.matio. o. that structure increases the wear resistance o. LPBF nickel superallo. by 4.5 times. PA pro.o.io.,the autho.s presented a scenario.where behavio. change seems to.be exclusively dependent o. the *** the existence o. o.her barriers to.an active lifestyle(e.g.,so.ial inequalities)co.ld enhance the autho.s’suggested appro.ch because many peo.le live in co.ditio.s that reduce their o.po.tunities to.engage in affective experiences related to.PA;furthermo.e,affective experiences can vary depending o. individual co.text.
