Background Longer hos.i.alizations for preterm infants with bronchopulmonary dysplasia(BPD)delay developmental outcomes.i.crease the risk for hos.i.al-acquired complications,and exert a substantial socioeconomic *** study aimed to identify factors associated with an extended length of stay(LOs)at different levels of severity of *** A cohort study was conducted using the Korean Neonatal Network registry of very low birth weight infants with BPD between 2013 and 2017 through retrospective *** A total of 4263 infants were diagnosed with *** mild BPD,infants requiring surgical treatment for patent ductus arteriosus needed a longer LOs[eadjustedβcoefficients(adjβ)1.041;95%confidence interval(Ci):0.01–0.08]and hydrocephalus(eadjβ1.094;95%Ci 0.01–0.17).in moderate BPD,infants administered steroids or with intraventricular hemorrhage required a longer LOs(eadjβ1.041;95%Ci 0.00–0.07 and eadjβ1.271;95%Ci 0.11–0.38,respectively).in severe BPD,infants with comorbidities required a longer LOs:pulmonary hypertension(eadjβ1.174;95%Ci 0.09–0.23),administrated steroid for BPD(eadjβ1.116;95%Ci 0.07–0.14),sepsis(eadjβ1.062;95%Ci 0.01–0.11),patent ductus arteriosus requiring surgical ligation(eadjβ1.041;95%Ci 0.00–0.08),and intraventricular hemorrhage(eadjβ1.016;95%Ci 0.05–0.26).Additionally,the higher the clinical risk index score,the longer the LOs needed for infants.i. all *** The factors affecting LOs differed according to the severity of *** approaches to reducing LOs may be devised using knowledge of the various risk factors affecting LOs by BPD severity.

Pedestrian detection and tracking are vital elements of today’s surveillance systems,which make daily life safe for ***,human detection and visualization have become essential inventions.i. the field of computer ***,developing a surveillance system with multiple object recognition and tracking,especially in low light and night-time,is s.i.l ***,we propose a novel system based on machine learning and image proces.i.g to provide an efficient surveillance system for pedestrian detection and tracking at *** particular,we propose a system that tackles a two-fold problem by detecting multiple pedestrians.i. infrared(iR)images using machine learning and tracking them using particle ***,a random forest clas.i.ier is adopted for image segmentation to identify pedestrians.i. an *** result of detection is.i.ves.i.ated by particle filter to solve pedestrian *** the extensive experiment,our system shows 93%segmentation accuracy using a random forest algorithm that demonstrates high accuracy for background and roof ***,the system achieved a detection accuracy of 90%usingmultiple templatematching techniques and 81%accuracy for pedestrian ***,our system can identify that the detected object is a ***,our system provided the best results compared to the state-ofart systems,which proves the effectiveness of the techniques used for image segmentation,clas.i.ication,and *** presented method is applicable for human detection/tracking,crowd analysis,and monitoring pedestrians.i. iR video surveillance.

Over the last decade,there is a surge of attention in establis.i.g ambient as.i.ted living(AAL)solutions to as.i.t individuals live *** a social and economic perspective,the demographic s.i.t toward an elderly population has brought new challenges to today’s *** can offer a variety of solutions for increasing people’s quality of life,allowing them to live healthier and more independently for *** this paper,we have proposed a novel AAL solution using a hybrid bidirectional long-term and short-term memory networks(BiLsTM)and convolutional neural network(CNN)*** first pre-processed the signal data,then used timefrequency features such as signal energy,signal variance,signal frequency,empirical mode,and empirical mode *** convolutional neural network-bidirectional long-term and short-term memory(CNN-biLsTM)clas.i.ier with dimensional reduction isomap algorithm was then used to select ideal *** assessed the performance of our proposed system on the publicly acces.i.le human gait database(HuGaDB)benchmark dataset and achieved an accuracy rates of 93.95 percent,*** reveal that hybrid method gives more accuracy than single clas.i.ier in AAL *** suggested system can as.i.ts persons with impairments,as.i.ting carers and medical personnel.
