Advanced OER/HER electrocatalytic alternatives are crucial for the wide adaptation of green hydrogen ***,Ru/NimnB spherical cluster pillar （SCP）,denoted as Ru/NimnB,is synthesized using a combination of electro-deposition and hydrothermal *** investigation of Ru doping in the NimnB matrix revealed significant improvements in electrocatalytic *** Ru/NimnB SCPs demonstrate superior OER/HER activity with low overpotentials of 150 and 103 mV at 50mA/cm2in 1 m kOH,making them highly competitive with state-of-the-art ***,the Ru/NimnB SCPs exhibit a low 2-E cell voltage of 2.80 V at ultra-high current density of 2,000 m A/cm2in 1 m kOH,outperforming the standard benchmark electrodes of RuO2||Pt/C,thereby positioning Ru/NimnB as one of the best bifunctional *** SCPs exhibit exceptional high-current characteristics,stability and corrosion resistance,as evidenced by continuous operation at 1,000 mA/cm2high-current density for over 150 h in 6 m kOH at elevated temperatures under harsh industrial *** a small amount of Ru incorporation significantly enhances the electrocatalytic performances of NimnB,attributed to increased active sites and improved intrinsic properties such as conductivity,adsorption/desorption capability and reaction ***,Ru/NimnB SCPs present a promising bi-functional electrode concept for efficient green H2production.

A comparative study with kerosene and hydrogen fuel in a model scramjet combustor has been carried out nu- merically. The effect of fuel-air equivalence ratio on the flow field properties in a cavity based mixing mechanism at a freestream math number of 2.08 has been probed. The investigation has been carried out in a two dimension- al numerical model where a cavity of length to depth ratio of 2 is mounted on one of the walls of the flow channel The flow field shock structure is observed to change with the change in fuel-air equivalence ratio. Total pressure loss is observed to depend both on fuel air equivalence ratio and the fuel type. The spread of fuel in the test sec- tion shows marked variation with the equivalence ratio. Performance of injector location on the fuel-air mixing is also probed during the course of the investigation.

We report that the corrosion resistance of mg is significantly improved by adding 0.05wt%*** rates evaluated from weight loss values after room-temperature immersion in 0.6 m NaCl solution for two weeks were 0.27 and 4.0 mm y^(-1)for the high-purity mg samples with and without microalloyed 0.05wt%Sc,*** beneficial effect of Sc microalloying on the corrosion resistance of mg is discussed in connection with Sc-induced microstructural modifications.

The challenge in the practical application of rocking foundations is the estimation of its performance,particularly the rotation angle,during a strong *** this study,the dynamic rocking behavior for a shallow foundation considering structural response was evaluated through two analytical approaches:the conventional soil-foundation-structure interaction(SFSI)governing equation of a single-degree-of-freedom(SDOF)structure on a rocking shallow foundation,and the Housner rocking model(i.e.,a rocking rigid block on a rigid base).Both approaches were validated with dynamic centrifuge *** test models consisted of a soft soil deposit,a shallow rectangular foundation,and an SDOF structure dominated by a bending behavior.A total of 11 foundation-structure systems and six seismic waves,including recorded earthquake signals and sinusoidal waves,were *** results showed that the conventional SFSI equation well predicted the maximum rotation during strong ***,this method was less accurate regarding the rotational phase information and maximum rotation of the foundation during weak *** the other hand,although the modified Housner′s rocking model required five parameters relevant to a soil-foundation-structure system,it overestimated the maximum rotation of the foundation when compared with the results from dynamic centrifuge tests.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) is the sixth most common type of cancer and the third most frequent cause of cancer-related death. Advances in preoperative assessment of HCC(e.g., imaging studies and liver function tests), surgical techniques, and postoperative care have improved the surgical outcomes and survival of patients who undergo hepatic resection for HCC. However, in the last 20 years, the long-term survival after hepatectomy has remained unsatisfactory owing to the high rates of local recurrence and multicentric occurrence. Anatomical liver resection(AR) was introduced in the 1980 s. Although several studies have revealed tangible benefits of AR for HCC, these benefits are still debated. Because most HCCs occur in patients with liver cirrhosis and poor hepatic function, there are many factors that affect survival, including the surgical method. Nevertheless, many studies have documented the perioperative and long-term benefits of AR in various conditions. In this article, we review the results of several recently published, well-designed comparative studies of AR, to investigate whether AR provides real benefits on survival outcomes. We also discuss the potential pitfalls associated with this approach.

multicast technology application has been widely utilized in broadband internet. Source authentication is one of the most needs for many multicast applications transferring real-time information such as stream video and online news. Because multicast current services provided to the group members are changed dynamically, data transferring by a group member is not used by the recipient. In order to verify the identity of the sender who sent the packet and to make sure that the data have not been tampered, an optimized source authentication scheme has been proposed to transfer the authentication information not to the next-door packet. The proposed method for multiple packets authenticates the source with a limited number of electronic signatures. The proposed method can reduce overhead compared to the method by adding a digital signature for every packet. In addition, by sending the generated electronic signature to the first packet and the last packet, it prevents the loss of consecutive packets, as well as a source authentication can be provided in real-time services.

Recent advances in functionally graded additive manufacturing(FGAm)technology have enabled the seamless hybridization of multiple functionalities in a single *** robotics can become one of the largest beneficiaries of these advances,through the design of a facile four-dimensional(4D)FGAm process that can grant an intelligent stimuli-responsive mechanical functionality to the printed ***,we present a simple binder jetting approach for the 4D printing of functionally graded porous multi-materials(FGmm)by introducing rationally designed graded multiphase feeder *** graded cross-linking agents gradually form stable porous network structures within aqueous polymer particles,enabling programmable hygroscopic deformation without complex mechanical ***,a systematic bed design incorporating additional functional agents enables a multi-stimuli-responsive and untethered soft robot with stark stimulus *** biodegradability of the proposed 4D-printed soft robot further ensures the sustainability of our approach,with immediate degradation rates of 96.6%within 72 *** proposed 4D printing concept for FGmms can create new opportunities for intelligent and sustainable additive manufacturing in soft robotics.

Yb3+/Ln3+(Ln=Er/Tm/Ho)-α-sialon ceramics were fabricated by hot press sintering *** microstructure and luminescent properties were studied by XRD,EDS,HRTEm and photoluminescence *** results showed that the sintered ceramics consisted ofα-Sialon with a trace amount ofβ-Sialon *** frequency upconversion and downconversion properties of Yb3+/Ln3+(Ln=Er/Tm/Ho)-α-Sialon ceramics were investigated under 980 nm low-power *** different concentrations of Yb3+/Ln3+(Ln=Er/Tm/Ho)produced multicolor emissions characteristics of each Ln3+ion as a result of the energy transfer from Yb3+to Er3+,Tm3+and Ho3+*** EDS spectra measurements and mappings showed that the Ln3+ions were well incorporated in theα-Sialon *** evolution of the emission decay behavior has been investigated to understand the energy transfer mechanism.
