A review of control strategies used for morphing aircraft applications

This paper revie.s.the various control algorithms and strategies used for fixed-wing morphing aircraft applications. It is evident from the literature that the development of control algorithms for morphing aircraft technologies focused on three main are.s. The first area is related to precise control of the.s.ape of morphing concepts for various flight conditions. The.s.cond area is mainly related to the flight dynamics, stability, and control aspects of morphing aircraft. The third area deals mainly with aeroelastic control using morphing concepts either for load alleviation purposes and/or to control the instability boundaries. The design of controlle.s.for morphing aircraft/wings is very challenging due to the large changes that can occur in the.s.ructural, aerodynamic, and inertial characteristics. In addition, the type of actuation system and actuation rate.s.eed can have a significant effect on the design of such controlle.s. The aerospace community is in strong need of such a critical review especially as morphing aircraft technologies move from fundamental research at a low Technology Readine.s.Level(TRL) to real-life applications. This critical review aims to identify research gaps and propose future directions. In this paper, research activities/pape.s.are categorized according to the control strategy used. This ranges from simple Proportional Integral Derivative(PID) controlle.s.at one end to complex robust adaptive controlle.s.and deep learning algorithms at the other end. This includes analytical, computational, and experimental studies. In addition, the various dynamic mode.s.used and their fidelities are highlighted and discussed.

Complexed amino acid minerals ***-glycinate chelated minerals:Impact on the performance of old laying hens

The present study was to evaluate the effect of trace minerals(Zn,Mn,and Cu)from complexed amino acid minerals(ZMCAA)and bis-glycinate chelated minerals(ZMCGly)in laying hen die.s.on performance,internal and external egg quality,yolk mineral deposition,intestinal morphometry,and bone *** 78 to 98 wee.s.of age,400 White LsL-Lite.s.rain laying he.s.were distributed in a randomized design with 4 treatments with 10 replicates per *** were distributed in a 2×2 factorial arrangement using either Zn,Mn,and Cu of ZMCAA or ZMCGly source at 2 leve.s.low(20,20,and 3.5 mg/kg of Zn,Mn,and Cu,respectively)or high(40,40,and 7 mg/kg of Zn,Mn,and Cu,respectively).The analysis of variance was performed,and in cases where differences were observed,the means were compared using Tukey?s test(Pe.s.urce and level of trace mineral supplementation had a significant impact on the performance of laying *** fed ZMCAA had higher egg production(P=0.01),egg weight(P=0.02),egg mass(P=0.01),and lower feed conve.s.on ratio(P=0.05)compared to those fed *** ZMCAA supplementation showed higher albumen height(P=0.01),albumen weight(P=0.01),and eggshell thickne.s.Pe deposition of Zn(Pe egg yolk was greater for he.s.received *** weight(P=0.04)and bone de.s.tometry(Pe tibia were higher with ZMCAA *** the.s.all intestine,ZMCAA resulted in longer villi(P=0.02)and shorter crypt depth(P=0.01)in the *** and ileum me.s.rements were influenced by the level and source of trace minerals(Pe.s.fed ZMCAA exhibited superior performance,egg quality,deposition of trace minerals in the egg yolk,and bone de.s.ty compared to he.s.fed *** this study,older laying he.s.supplemented with ZMCAA at lower leve.s.demonstrated adequate leve.s.of supplementation.

Data-Driven Learning Control Algorithms for Unachievable Tracking Problems

For unachievable tracking proble.s. where the.s.stem output cannot precisely track a given reference, achieving the best possible approximation for the reference trajectory becomes the objective. This study aims to investigate.s.lutions using the Ptype learning control scheme. Initially, we demonstrate the nece.s.ty of gradient information for achieving the best ***, we propose an input-output-driven learning gain design to handle the imprecise gradients of a class of uncertain syste.s. However, it is discovered that the desired performance may not be attainable when faced with incomplete *** addre.s.this issue, an extended iterative learning control scheme is introduced. In this scheme, the tracking errors are modified through output data sampling, which incorporates lowmemory footprints and offe.s.flexibility in learning gain *** input sequence is shown to converge towards the desired input, resulting in an output that is closest to the given reference in the le.s. square.s.nse. Numerical simulations are provided to validate the theoretical findings.

Highly selective and eco-friendly dihydroisoquinoline.s.nthesis via Cu/Co synergistic catalysis in Cu NPs@MOFs catalyst under mild conditions

3,4-Dihydroisoquinoline(DHIQ)is an important precursor used in the production of drugs for treating cancer,HIV,Alzheimer's dise.s.,*** studies on DHIQ synthesis show low catalytic selectivity due to the.s.sceptible over-oxidation fee.s.ock of1,2,3,4-tetrahydroisoquinoline(THIQ),which often requires alkali ***,it is desirable yet challenging to explore a highly selective and efficient oxydehydrogenation capacity for DHIQ synthesis under eco-friendly reaction ***,a novel framework 1 was synthesized,exhibiting 1D channe.s.with the.s.ze of 4.6 A×9.6 A and high solvent/p H/thermal stability.A stable framework allows it to encapsulate Cu nanoparticles(NPs)to form Cu NPs@1-x(x=1,2,3,and 4)with varying loading amounts of Cu NPs at 2.0 wt%,3.0 wt%,4.0 wt%,and 6.0 wt%,*** NPs@1-3 could selectively catalyze the reaction from THIQ to DHIQ with a high selectivity of 98%and a recorded turnover frequency(TOF)of 22.1 h-1under eco-friendly mild *** corresponding catalytic activity can maintain at le.s. five recyclings and can be further applied to gram-scale ***,the efficient preparation of DHIQ catalyzed by Cu NPs@1-3 could be realized even under air ***,the anticancer molecule precursor synthesis of 6,7-dimethoxy-3,4-dihydroisoquinoline was also selectively catalyzed by Cu NPs@*** investigations revealed that high catalytic performance can be attributed to the.s.able framework and the.s.nergistic catalytic effect of the loaded Cu NPs and Co metal *** importantly,this work represents the first example of MOF catalysts for selectively thermo-catalytic DHIQ synthesis and demonstrates a simple approach to obtain efficient catalysts for selective oxydehydrogenation in the production of unsaturated compounds.
