The.s.perplastic behavior and associated deformation mechanisms of a fine-grained Mg-10.1 Li-0.8Al-0.6Zn alloy(LAZ1011)with a grain size of 3.2μm,primarily composed of the BCCβphase and a small amount of the HCPαphase,were examined in a temperature range of 473 K to 623 *** microstructural refinement of this alloy was achieved by employing high-ratio differential speed *** best superplasticity was achieved at 523 K and at strain rates of 10^(-4)-5×10^(-4)s^(-1),where te.s.le elongations of 550±600%were *** the heating and holding stage of the te.s.le.s.mples prior to te.s.le loading,a significant incre.s. in grain size was observed at temperatures above 573 ***,it was important to consider this effect when analyzing and unde.s.anding the.s.perplastic deformation behavior and *** the investigated strain rate range,the.s.perplastic flow at low strain rates was governed by lattice diffusion-controlled grain boundary sliding,while at high strain rates,lattice diffusion-controlled dislocation climb creep was the rate-controlling deformation *** was concluded that solute drag creep is unlikely to *** the late.s.ages of deformation at 523 K,it was observed that grain boundary sliding led to the agglomeration of theαphase,resulting in significant strain *** mechanism maps were constructed forβ-Mg-Li alloys in the form of 2D and 3D formats as a function of strain rate.s.re.s.temperature,and grain size,using the constitutive equations for various deformation mechanisms derived based on the data of the current tests.

The main objective of this paper is to investigate the influence of inertia of nonlinear springs on the dispe.s.on behavior of discrete monoatomic chains with lumped and distributed *** developed model can represent the wave propagation problem in a non-homogeneous material consisting of heavy inclusions embedded in a *** inclusions are idealized by lumped masses,and the matrix between adjacent inclusions is modeled by a nonlinear spring with distributed ***,the model is capable of depicting the wave propagation in bi-material bars,wherein the first material is represented by a rigid particle and the.s.cond one is represented by a nonlinear spring with distributed *** discrete model of the nonlinear monoatomic chain with lumped and distributed masses is first considered,and a closed-form expre.s.on of the dispe.s.on relation is obtained by the.s.cond-order Lindstedt-Poincare method(LPM).Next,a continuum model for the nonlinear monoatomic chain is derived directly from its discrete lattice model by a suitable continualization *** subsequent use of the.s.cond-order method of multiple.s.ales(MMs)facilitates the derivation of the corresponding nonlinear dispe.s.on relation in a closed *** novelties of the present study consist of(i)considering the inertia of nonlinear springs on the dispe.s.on behavior of the discrete mass-spring chains;(ii)developing the.s.cond-order LPM for the wave propagation in the discrete chains;and(iii)deriving a continuum model for the nonlinear monoatomic chains with lumped and distributed ***,a parametric study is conducted to examine the effects of the design paramete.s.and the distributed spring mass on the nonlinear dispe.s.on relations and phase velocities obtained from both the discrete and continuum *** paramete.s.include the ratio of the.s.ring mass to the lumped mass,the nonlinear stiffne.s.coefficient of the.s.ring,and the wave amplitude.

KLnF_(4):Yb^(3+),er^(3+)/Ho^(3+)(Ln=Y,Yb,Gd)phosphors were prepared by solid-state reaction *** each of the Yb^(3+)/er^(3+)and Yb^(3+)/Ho^(3+)co-doped phosphors independently,phase confirmation and morphological examination were accomplished using the X-ray diffraction technique and scanning electron microscope analysis.X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis shows the charge.s.ate and existence of lanthanides and *** luminescence emissions of green and red colour were detected for the.s.nthesized *** changes in the upconverted emission inte.s.ties and colour output pertaining to the change of the lanthanide host matrix along with dopants were investigated for the prepared *** the upconve.s.on luminescence,erbium-doped samples exhibit a predominance of red emission while holmium-doped samples display a prevalence of green *** rare-earth er/Ho doped KYbF4shows strong red emission compared to other ***_(4):Yb,er/Ho exhibits relatively significant green upconve rsion emissions,while Yb,er-doped KGdF_(4)host displays a 10-fold incre.s. in green/red emission ratio with an incre.s. in the input power of 20-780 *** photoluminescence.s.udies and decay curve analysis were carried out using UV light excitation for the developed phosphors.A higher lifetime of 2.2 ms was me.s.red for the downshifting red emission in the Ho doped KYbF_(4)*** study suggests a potential for colour tunability in the upconve.s.on and downshifting emissions through host modifications to the fluoride phosphor.

This paper presents an investigation of the.s.ismic behavior of reinforced concrete(RC)structures in which shear walls are the main lateral load-resisting elements and the participation of flat slab floor syste.s.is not considered in the.s.ismic design *** this regard,the behavior of six prototype.s.ructures(with different heights and plan layouts)is investigated through nonlinear static and time history analyses,implemented in the Ope.s.es *** results of the analyses are presented in terms of the behavior of the.s.ab-column connections and their mode of failure at different loading ***,the global response of the buildings is discussed in terms of some paramete.s.such as lateral ove.s.rength due to the gravity flat slab-column *** to the nonlinear static analyses,in structures in which the.s.ab-column connections were designed only for gravity loads,the.s.ab-column connections exhibited a punching mode of failure even in the early stages of ***,the punching failure was eliminated in structures in which a minimum transve.s. reinforcement recommended in ACI 318(2019)was provided in the.s.abs at joint ***,despite neglecting the contribution of gravity flat slab-column frames in the lateral load resistance of the.s.ructures,a relatively significant ove.s.rength was imposed on the.s.ructures by the gravity frames.

In this research,we focus on the free.s.rface deformation of a one-dime.s.onal elastic semiconductor medium as a function of magnetic field and moisture *** problem aims to analyze the interconnection between plasma and moisture diffusivity proce.s.s,as well as thermo-elastic *** study examines the photothermoelasticity transport proce.s.while considering the impact of moisture *** employing Laplace.s.transformation technique,we derive the governing equations of the photo-thermo-elastic *** equations include the equations for carrier de.s.ty,elastic waves,moisture transport,heat conduction,and constitutive *** stre.s.s,thermal conditions,and plasma boundary conditions are used to calculate the fundamental physical paramete.s.in the Laplace *** employing numerical techniques,the Laplace transform is inverted to get complete time-domain solutions for the primary physical domains under ***,thermoelastic,and thermoelectric characteristics are employed in conjunction with a graphical analysis that takes into consideration the effects of applied forces on displacement,moisture concentration,carrier de.s.ty,stre.s.due to forces,and temperature distribution.

Fucoidan,a sulfate polysaccharide obtained from brown seaweed,has various bioactive properties,including anti-inflammatory,anti-cancer,anti-viral,anti-oxidant,anti-coagulant,anti-thrombotic,anti-angiogenic,and anti-Helicobacter pylori ***,the effects of low-molecular-weight fucoidan(LMW-F)on melanoma cell lines and three dime.s.onal(3D)cell culture mode.s.are not well *** study aimed to investigate the effects of LMW-F on A375 human melanoma cells and cryopreserved biospecime.s.derived from patients with advanced *** wave was used to fragment fucoidan derived from Fucus vesiculosus into smaller *** and live/dead assays showed that LMW-F inhibited cell proliferation in both A375 cells and patientderived melanoma explants in a 3D-printed collagen *** PTeN/AKT pathway was found to be involved in the anti-melanoma effects of *** blot analysis revealed that LMW-F reduced the phosphorylation of Bcl-2 at Thr 56,which was associated with the prevention of anti-apoptotic activity of cancer *** findings suggested that LMW-F could enhance anti-melanoma chemotherapy and improve the outcomes of patients with melanoma resistance.

Camera-based object tracking syste.s.in a given closed environment lack privacy and *** this study,light detection and ranging(LiDAR)was applied to track objects similar to the camera tracking in a closed environment,guaranteeing privacy and *** primary objective was to demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed technique through carefully designed experiments conducted using two *** scenario I,the.s.udy illustrates the capability of the proposed technique to detect the locations of multiple objects positioned on a flat surface,achieved by analyzing LiDAR data collected from several locations within the closed *** II demonstrates the effectivene.s.of the proposed technique in detecting multiple objects using LiDAR data obtained from a single,fixed ***-time experiments are conducted with human subjects navigating predefined *** individuals move within an environment,while LiDAR,fixed at the center,dynamically tracks and identifies their locations at multiple *** demonstrate that a single.s.rategically positioned LiDAR can adeptly detect objects in motion around ***,this study provides a comparison of various regre.s.on techniques for predicting bounding box *** proce.s.regre.s.on(GPR),combined with particle.s.arm optimization(PsO)for prediction,achieves the lowest prediction mean square error of all the regre.s.on techniques examined at *** tuning of GPR using PsO significantly minimizes the regre.s.on *** of the experiment pave the way for its exte.s.on to various real-time applications such as crowd management in malls,surveillance.s.ste.s.and various Internet of Things scenarios.
