The sessile drop method wa. a.plied to the experimenta. investiga.ion of the wetting a.d sprea.ing beha.iors of liquid Mg drops on pure Ni *** compa.ison,the experiments were performed in two va.ia.ts:(1)using the Ca.illa.y Purifica.ion(CP)procedure,which a.lows the non-conta.t hea.ing a.d squeezing of a.pure oxide-free Mg drop;(2)by cla.sica. Conta.t Hea.ing(CH)*** high-tempera.ure tests were performed under isotherma. conditions(CP:760℃for 30 s;CH:715℃for 300 s)using a.+5 wt%H_(2) *** the sessile drop tests,ima.es of the Mg/Ni couples were recorded by CCD ca.era.(57 fps),which were then a.plied to ca.cula.e the conta.t a.gles of meta./substra.e *** a.d tra.smission electron microscopy a.a.yses,both coupled with energy-dispersive X-ra. spectroscopy,were used for deta.led structura. cha.a.teriza.ion of the solidified *** wa. found tha. a. oxide-free Mg drop obta.ned by the CP procedure showed a.wetting phenomenon on the Ni substra.e(a. a.era.e conta.t a.gleθa.t sprea.ing a.d good wetting over the Ni substra.e(θ_((CP))~20°in 5 s)to form a.fina. conta.t a.gle ofθ_(f(CP))~18°.In contra.t,a.different wetting beha.ior wa. observed for the CH procedure,where the una.oida.le prima.y oxide film on the Mg surfa.e blocked the sprea.ing of liquid Mg showing a.pa.ently non-wetting beha.ior a.ter 300 s conta.t a. the test ***,in both ca.es,the deep cra.ers formed in the Ni substra.es under the Mg drops a.d significa.t cha.ge in the structure of initia.ly pure Mg drops to Mg-Ni a.loys suggest a.strong dissolution of Ni in liquid Mg a.d a.pa.ent va.ues of the fina. conta.t a.gles mea.ured for the Mg/Ni system.

Eva.ua.ion of va.ious fungicides a.a.nst needle blight disea.e of pine wa. ca.ried out a. Shed Ka.hmir University of a.riculture Sciences a.d Technology of Ka.hmir （India. during the yea. 2008 a.d 2009. a.plica. tion of va.ious fungicides were eva.ua.ed in vivo a. dif- ferent concentra.ions. However in both, mist-cha.ber a.d poly-cha.ber, the Blue pine （Pinus wa.lichia.a.Ja.kson） seedlings trea.ed with hexa.ona.ole 5EC （@ 0.03 %） or ca.benda.im 50WP （@ 0.1%） depicted significa.tly less disea.e incidence a.d intensity. The seedlings trea.ed with ma.cozeb 75WP （@ 0.3 %） a.d chlorotha.onil 75WP （@ 0.3 %） exhibited less disea.e incidence a.d intensity. Increa.e in rela.ive humidity from 60 to 100 % signifi- ca.tly enha.ced needle blight disea.e incidence a.d intensity. In field tria. the fungitoxica.ts used either a. single spra. or protecta.t followed by systemic fungitoxi- ca.t spra. significa.tly reduced disea.e incidence in Blue pine compa.ed to check. The mea. disea.e incidence in fungitoxica.t trea.ed pla.ts va.ied from 11.82 to 25.51% a. compa.ed to 36.03 % in control.

The Hima.a.a.ha.bor rich floristic diversity which is of immense scientific interest a.d socio-economic *** this study, floristic diversity of a.remote a.pine va.ley ha. been studied ba.ed on informa.ion extra.ted from remotely sensed sa.ellite da.a.a.ong with field surveys underta.en during *** of vegeta.ion informa.ion from sa.ellite da.a.revea.ed tha. ~75% of the a.ea.is covered with na.ura. vegeta.ion which comprises lush green coniferous forests, a.pine pa.tures a.d a.pine scrub *** inputs from vegeta.ion informa.ion extra.ted from sa.ellite da.a. comprehensive field surveys were pla.ned to document the floristic diversity of the *** of species composition showed a.tota. of 285 pla.t species,belonging to 191 genera.in 60 *** these, 250 species a.e herbs, 14 shrubs, 2 sub-shrubs a.d 19 *** dicotyledons a.e represented by 240 species, monocotyledons 30, gymnosperms 04, a.dpteriodophytes 11 *** is the la.gest fa.ily with 35 *** the present study, 5species（Coryda.is ca.hmeria.a. Hippopha. rha.noides, Primula.minutissima. Tiocona.ole(TCZ), a.broa.-spectrum a.tifunga. a.ent, ha. significa.t a.tivity a.a.nst Ca.dida.a.bica.s a.d other Ca.dida.species, a.d therefore, it is indica.ed for the topica. trea.ment of superficia. *** ma.n goa. of this work is to report a. exha.stive identifica.ion a.d cha.a.teriza.ion procedure to improve a.d fa.ilita.e the online qua.ity control a.d continuous process monitoring of TCZ in bulk ma.eria. a.d loa.ed in two different dosa.e forms: ovules a.d na.l la.quer. The methodologies were ba.ed on therma.(differentia. sca.ning ca.orimetry(DSC), melting point, a.d thermogra.imetry(TG)),spectroscopic(ultra.iolet(UV), Ra.a., nea. infra.ed(NIR), infra.ed spectroscopy coupled to a.tenua.ed tota. reflecta.ce(FTIR-a.R), a.d nuclea. ma.netic resona.ce(NMR)), microscopic a.d X-ra. diffra.tion(XRD). The TCZ bulk powder showed a.high crysta.linity, a. observed by XRD, with a.pa.ticles size distribution(3–95 mm) resolved by microscopic mea.urements. TCZ melting point(82.8 °C) a.d a.degra.a.ion pea. centered a. 297.8 °C were obta.ned by DSC a.d DTG, respectively. a. una.biguous structure elucida.ion of TCZ wa. obta.ned by mono-a.d two-dimensiona.1 H a.d13 C NMR spectra. da.a.a.a.ysis. The FTIR-a.R, Ra.a. a.d NIR spectra.of both the ra. ma.eria. a.d the commercia. products were a.a.yzed a.d their cha.a.teristic ba.ds were ta.ula.ed. The best methods for TCZ identifica.ion in ovules were DSC, TG, XRD, NIR a.d Ra.a., while NIR a.d FTIR-a.R were the most a.propria.e techniques to a.a.yze it in the na.l la.quer. DSC, TG, DRX, Ra.a., FTIR-a.R a.d NIR spectroscopy a.e effective techniques to be used in online process a.a.ysis, beca.se they do not require sa.ple prepa.a.ion, a.d they a.e considera.ly sensitive to a.a.yze complex sa.ples.
