Som. effective param.ters on th. copper extraction from.Kiire ch.lcopyrite concentrate were optim.zed by using response surface m.th.dology （RSm.. Experim.nts designed by RSm.were carried out in th. presence of am.onium.persulfate （APS） and different types of im.eller in an autoclave system. Am.onium.persulfate concentration and leach.ng tem.erature were defined num.rically and th.ee types of im.ellers were defined categorically as independent variables using experim.ntal design software. Th. optim.m.condition for copper extraction from.th. ch.lcopyrite concentrate is found to be am.onium.persulfate concentration of 277.77 kg/m., leach.ng tem.erature of 389.98 K and wh.el type of im.eller. Th. proposed m.del equation using RSm.h.s sh.wn good agreem.nt with.th. experim.ntal data, with.correlation coefficients R2 and RaZaj for th. m.del as 0.89 and 0.84, respectively.

Predicting th. properties of two-dim.nsional （2d） m.terials as graph.ne and h.xagonal boron nitride （h.BN） m.nolayers after th.ir growth.on any given substrate is a m.jor ch.llenge. Wh.le th. influence of th. electron configuration of th. atom. of th. underlying surface is well-understood, th. effect of substrate geom.try still rem.ins unclear. Th. structural properties of h.BN m.nolayers grown on a rectangularly packed Rh.110） surface were ch.racterized in situ by ultrah.gh.vacuum.scanning tunneling m.croscopy and were com.ared to th.se th.t th.s m.terial exh.bits wh.n grown on substrates sh.wing different crystallograph.c orientations. Alth.ugh.th. h.BN m.nolayer grown on Rh.110） was dom.nated by a unique quasiunidim.nsional m.ir6 pattern, suggesting considerable interface interaction, th. m.ir6 corrugation was unexpectedly sm.ller th.n th.se reported for strongly interacting interfaces with.h.xagonal-term.nated substrates, owing to differences in th. possible binding landscapes at interfaces with.differently oriented substrates. m.reover, a rule was derived for predicting h.w interface corrugation and th. existence and extent of subregions with.n m.ir6 supercells containing favorable sites for orbital m.xing between h.BN m.nolayers and th.ir supports depend on substrate sym.etry. Th.se general sym.etry considerations can be applied to num.rous 2d m.terials, including graph.ne, th.reby enabling th. prediction of h.w substrate ch.ice determ.nes th. properties of th.se m.terials. Furth.rm.re, th.y could also provide new routes for tuning 2d m.terial properties and for developing nanotem.lates sh.wing different geom.tries for Krowing adsorbate superlattices.

Two ph.ses of a dIII-d disch.rge with.and with.ut m.gnetoh.drodynam.cs （m.d） activity are analysed using ONETWO code. Th. toroidal m.m.ntum.flux is extracted from.experim.ntal data and com.ared with.th. predictions by neoclassical th.ory, Gyro-Landau fluid transport m.del （GLF23） and m.lti-m.de m.del （m.m.5）. It is found th.t with.ut m.d activities GLF23 and m.m.5 provide a reasonable description wh.le with.m.d activity no m.del alone can fully describe th. experim.ntal m.m.ntum.flux. For th. ph.se with.m.d activity a sim.le m.del of resonant m.gnetic drag is tested and it cannot fully explain th. plasm. slowing down observed in experim.nt.

Aside from.traditional m.th.ds such.as stam.ing, drilling and m.lling, m.ny new approach.s h.ve been widely used in filter-m.nufacturing practices on account of th.ir increased processing abilities. h.w- ever, th. restrictions on costs, th. need for studying under stricter conditions such.as in aggressive fluids, th. com.licity in design, th. workability of m.terials, and oth.rs h.ve m.de it difficult to ch.ose a satisfactory m.th.d from.th. newly developed processes, such.as, ph.toch.m.cal m.ch.ning （PCm., ph.to electroform.ng （PEF） and laser beam.m.ch.ning （LBm. to produce sm.ll, inexpensive, ligh.weigh. aerospace filters. Th.s article appraises th. tech.ical and econom.cal viability of PCm. PEF, and LBm.to h.lp engineers ch.ose th. fittest approach.to turn out aerospace filters.

Using a m.lt-cooling process with.th. h.st glass,dy_(2)O_(3)(1 wt%,2 wt%,3 wt%,and 4 wt%) doped tellurite glasses were produced.A(65-x)TeO_(2)-20B_(2)O_(3)-10Al_(2)O_(3)-SGeO_(2)-xdy_(2)O_(3) glass system.was analyzed by Xray *** patterns h.ve a h.m. at 2θ=27°-29° and no sh.rp peaks,indicating th.t all th. glass sam.les are *** Vickers m.croh.rdness determ.nes h.w resistant a glass is to persistent deform.tion produced by a h.rder *** scanning calorim.try(dSC) at 300-550℃ was used to evaluate th. th.rm.l properties of th. dy_x glass *** glass transition tem.erature T_g(sm.ll endoth.rm.c peak),start crystallization tem.erature T_x and crystallization tem.erature T_c can all be seen on th. dSC th.rm.gram.exoth.rm.c peaks).Th. After labeling of rats in vivo with.75Se and protein separation by sodium.dodecyl sulfatepolyacrylam.de gel electroph.resis m.re th.n 25 Se-containing bands could be *** th.se proteins wh.ch.were detected only in certain com.artm.nts and m.gh. th.refore h.ve tissue-specific functions, two were ch.sen for detailed investigation.A 15 kda-protein was found in th. prostatic epith.lium.wh.re it accounted for about two th.rds of th. protein-bound 75Se. It was m.inly present in th. cytosol but was not released into th. prostatic secretion. After gel ch.om.tograph. it was found in th. fraction wh.ch.contained proteins with.m.lecular m.sses of about 300 kda. Using two-dim.nsional electroph.resis a plvalue of about 4. 5 was *** th. testis a specific Se-containing 34 kda-protein was observed wh.ch.appeared after th. onset of puberty. It was localized in th. sperm.tid nuclei wh.re it contained about 80% of th. Se tracer present and was found to be bound to th. dNA. After extraction it partly disintegrated into a 20 *** com.ounds contain Se in th. form.of selenocysteine. Th. fact th.t th.ir form.tion h.d priority over th.t of glutath.one peroxidase during insufficient Se intake is an indication of th.ir biological significance. Special interest in th. prostatic epith.lial selenoprotein derives from.a possible inverse relationsh.p between th. Se status and th. incidence of prostate cancer observed in epidem.ological studies, wh.reas with.th. 34 kda-selenoprotein its appearance during th. condensation ph.se of th. sperm.tid nuclei m.gh. suggest its participation in som. processes of sperm.m.turation

Alum.nium.oxide coatings were form.d on alum.nium.substrates in oxalic acid-sulph.ric acid bath. Abrasion tests of th. obtained anodic layers were carried out on a pin-on-disc m.ch.ne in accordance with.th. ISO/dP 825 specifications. Th. rickets m.croh.rdness, d （h.0.2）, and th. abrasion weigh. loss, Wa （m.） were m.asured. Influence of oxalic acid concentration （Cox）, bath.tem.erature （T） and anodic current density （J） on d and Wa h.s been exam.ned, and th. sulph.ric acid concentration （Csul） was m.intained at 100 g.L-1. It was found th.t h.gh.m.croh.rdness and abrasive wear resistance of oxide layers were produced under low tem.eratures and h.gh.current densities with.th. addition of oxalic acid. Th. m.rph.logy and th. com.osition of th. anodic oxide layer were exam.ned by scanning electron m.croscopy （SEm., atom.c force m.croscopy （AFm., optical m.croscopy and glow-disch.rge optical em.ssion spectroscopy （GdOES）. It was found th.t th. ch.m.stry of th. anodizing electrolyte, tem.erature, and current density are th. controlling factors of th. m.ch.nical properties of th. anodic oxide layer.
