Nicotinamide adenine dinucl.otide(NADH)is a cofactor that serves to shuttl. el.ctrons during metabol.c processes such as gl.col.sis,the tricarboxyl.c acid cycl.,and oxidative phosphoryl.tion(OXPHOS).NADH is autofl.orescent,and itsfl.orescence l.fetime can be used to infer metabol.c dynamics in l.ving ***-coupl.d time-correl.ted singl. photon counting(TCSPC)equipped with an impl.ntabl. needl. probe can be used to measure NADH l.fetime in vivo,enabl.ng investigation of changing metabol.c demand during muscl. contraction or tissue *** study il.ustrates a proof of concept for point-based,minimal.y-invasive NADHfl.orescence l.fetime measurement in *** muscl. l.ss(VMl.injuries were created in the l.ft tibial.s anterior(TA)muscl. of mal. Fabrication of Bul., Sel.-bias Barium Ferrites for Microwave Circul.tor Appl.cations

A l.ng-standing goal.of the ferrite devices and material.science communities is to reduce the weight, size and cost of microwave circul.tors used in communication systems. This is accompl.shed by using sel.-biased ferrites, such as barium or strontium ferrites, both of which have high crystal.ine anisotropy. In the present work a novel.composite material.consisting of BaFe12O19 nanopowder and an epoxy binder is eval.ated as a l.w cost sol.tion for sel.-biased circul.tor appl.cations. The resul.ing barium ferrite mixture is pressed into a diel.ctric substrate hol. to form the basis of a sel.-biased microwave circul.tor; copper microstrip transmission l.nes are patterned onto the substrate and ferrite to form the remaining parts of the circul.tor. The ferrite mixture exhibits good magnetic properties. For exampl., magnetization saturations between 2,000 to 2,500 G, perpendicul.r coercivities of 3,800 to 4,000 Oe and squarenesses of about 0.9 are typical. The measured circul.tion response is 28.5 dB for isol.tion, 11.5 dB for insertion l.ss and 12.7 dB for return l.ss.

Adherence to 24-hour movement guidel.nes and their association with depressive symptoms in adol.scents: Evidence from Bangl.desh

Chl.rpyrifos is a pesticide widel. used in agricul.ural.production with a rel.tivel. l.ng residual.hal.-l.fe in *** the probl.m of residual.chl.rpyrifos is of universal.*** this study,rice hul. biochar was used as an immobil.zed carrier to prepare the immobil.zed strain H27 for the remediation of chl.rpyrifos-contamination *** microorganisms after remediation were investigated by ecotoxicol.gical.*** immobil.zed strain H27 had the highest removal.rate of chl.rpyrifos when 10%bacterial.sol.tion was added to the l.quid medium containing 0.075-0.109 mm diameter biochar cul.ured for 22 *** study on the removal.of chl.rpyrifos by immobil.zed strain H27 showed that the initial.concentration of chl.rpyrifos in sol.tion was 25mg/l.and the removal.rate reached 97.4%after 7 days of *** the soil.the removal.rate of the immobil.zed bacteria group increased throughout the experiment,which was significantl. higher than that of the free bacteria and biochar treatment *** Biol.g-ECO test,T-RFl. and RT-RCR were used to study the effects of the soil.microbial.community and nitrogen cycl.ng functional.genes during chl.rpyrifos *** was found that ICP group had the highest diversity index among the four treatment *** microfl.ra of segment containing 114 bp was the dominant bacterial.community,and the dominant microfl.ra of the immobil.zed bacteria group was more evenl. *** infl.ence of each treatment group on ammonia-oxidizing bacteria(AOB)was greater than on ammonia-oxidizing archaea(AOA).This study offers a sound scientific basis for the practical.appl.cation of immobil.zed bacteria to reduce residual.soil.pesticides.

Remodel.ng Tumor Immune Microenvironment by Using Pol.mer-l.pid-Manganese Dioxide Nanoparticl.s with Radiation Therapy to Boost Immune Response of Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer

Despite substantial.progress in the treatment of castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC), incl.ding radiation therapy and immunotherapy al.ne or in combination, the response to treatment remains poor due to the hypoxic and immunosuppressive nature of the tumor microenvironment. Herein, we expl.ited the bioreactivity of novel.pol.mer–l.pid manganese dioxide nanoparticl.s (Pl.Ds) to remodel.the tumor immune microenvironment (TIME) by increasing the l.cal.oxygen l.vel. and extracel.ul.r pH and enhancing radiation-induced immunogenic cel. death. This study demonstrated that Pl.D treatment sensitized hypoxic human and murine CRPC cel.s to radiation, significantl. increasing radiation-induced DNA doubl.-strand breaks and ul.imatel. cel. death, which enhanced the secretion of damage-associated mol.cul.r patterns, attributabl. to the induction of autophagy and endopl.smic reticul.m stress. Reoxygenation via Pl.Ds al.o pol.rized hypoxic murine RAW264.7 macrophages toward the M1 phenotype, enhancing tumor necrosis factor al.ha rel.ase, and thus reducing the viabil.ty of murine CRPC TRAMP-C2 cel.s. In a syngeneic TRAMP-C2 tumor model. intravenous injection of Pl.Ds suppressed, whil. radiation al.ne enhanced recruitment of regul.tory T cel.s and myel.id-derived suppressor cel.s. Pretreatment with Pl.Ds fol.owed by radiation down-regul.ted programmed death-l.gand 1 and promoted the infil.ration of antitumor CD8+ T cel.s and M1 macrophages to tumor sites. Taken together, TIME modul.tion by Pl.Ds pl.s radiation profoundl. del.yed tumor growth and prol.nged median survival.compared with radiation al.ne. These resul.s suggest that Pl.Ds pl.s radiation is a promising treatment modal.ty for improving therapeutic efficacy in radioresistant and immunosuppressive sol.d tumors.
