Background:Immune evasion is a fundamental hallmark for *** the early stages of tumor development,immune evasion strategies must be implemented by tumors to prevent attacks from the host immune *** tumors5 immune evasion will re-activate the host immune systems to eliminate ***-checkpoint therapy(ICT)which applies anti-PD-l/PD-Ll or anti-CTLA4 treatment has been a remarkable success in the past few ***,〜70%of patients cannot gain any clinical benefits from ICT treatment due to the tumorimmunity system's complexity・In the past,germline pathogenic variants have been thought to have only minorheritable contributions to ***:Emerging evidence has shown that germline genomes play a dominant-heritable contribution to cancer via encoding the host immune *** functional components of the immune system are encoded by the host genome,thus the germline genome might have a profound impact on cancer immune evasion and immunotherapy ***,recent studies showed that germline pathogenic variants can influence immune capacity in cancer patients at a population level by(i)shaping tumor somatic mutations,altering methylation patterns and antigen-presentation capacity or(ii)influencing NK cell's function to modulate lymphocyte infiltration in the tumor *** addition,the HLA(types A,B or C)genotypes also shape the landscape of tumor somatic ***:These results highlight the indispensable roles of germline genome in immunity and cancer development and suggest that germline genomics should be integrated into the research field of cancer biology and cancer immunotherapy.

Tidal triggering of seismicity in the region of Palu, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia

This paper investigates the correlation between tidal stress and earthquakes for periods ranging from hours to months in the limited zone of the Palu region(Central Sulawesi,Indonesia).Through Schuster and binomial tests,we examined the relation between the seismicity(time density of seismic events)and tidal potential arising from the Moon and Sun,using all tidal components simultaneously and focusing on the estimation of specific *** results show significant correlations between the seismicity and tidal potential for S2(0.5 d)and O1(1.075 d)tidal components in the case of solely isolated earthquake events,particularly for shallow ***,there is a strong relationship between aftershocks and tidal components larger than the Mf period(13.661 d).Finally,the analysis of the temporal variation of the earthquake-tide relation reveals an optimal correlation for about six years before the 2018 great Palu *** correlation becomes insignificant afterwards.

The simulation of rarefied gasflows through complex porous media is chal-lenging due to the tortuousflow pathways inherent to such *** Lattice Boltzmann method(LBM)has been identified as a promising avenue to solveflows through complex geometries due to the simplicity of its scheme and its high parallel computational *** has been proposed to model the stress-strain relationship with the extended Navier-Stokes equations rather than attempting to directly solve the Boltzmann ***,a regularization technique is required tofilter out non-resolved higher-order components with a low-order velocity *** slip boundary conditions(BCs)have been proposed for the non-regularized multiple relaxation time LBM(MRT-LBM)for planar geometries,previous slip BCs have never been verified extensively with the regularization *** this work,following an extensive literature review on the imposition of slip BCs for rarefiedflows with the LBM,it is proven that earlier values for kinetic parameters developed to impose slip BCs are inaccurate for the regularized MRT-LBM and differ between the D2Q9 and D3Q15 *** error was eliminated for planarflows and good agreement be-tween analytical solutions for arrays of cylinders and spheres was found with a wide range of Knudsen numbers.

An extension to rarefied flow regimes of the lattice Boltzmann methodbased model for miscible mixtures developed by Vienne et al.(Physical Review E 100.2(2019):023309)is *** model is applied to study the gas phase separation phenomenon in mixture flows that traditional macroscopic approaches fail to *** extension includes a wall function approach with an empirical coefficient to define an effectivemean free path in solid geometries,which locally defines the kinematic viscosity and binary diffusion *** algorithm is also modified by a local multi-relaxation time collision operator and slip boundary conditions at solid *** mixture flow simulations are conducted through a 2D plane microchannel within the slip and early transition flow *** a miscible gaseous phase,the mixture loses its homogeneity and independent velocity profiles for each component are observed in the rarefied regime and captured with the current *** addition,the gas separation phenomenon increases with the rarefaction rate and the molecular mass *** individual treatment of the species within mixture flows in the developed lattice Boltzmann model helps understanding the increasing independent behavior of the individual specieswithin themixture as the regime becomesmore rarefied.

BACKGROUND The rising prevalence of carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii(CRAB)in neonatal intensive care units(NICUs)represents an escalating challenge in healthcare settings,particularly in managing hospital-acquired infections(HAIs).Studies across various World Health Organization regions have documented a significant incidence of CRAB-related HAIs,with rates as high as 41.7 cases per 1000 patients in ICUs,accounting for 13.6%of all *** infections pose a doubled mortality risk compared to infections with carbapenem-susceptible Acinetobacter baumannii.A particularly concerning aspect of CRAB colonization is its asymptomatic nature,enabling its transmission through healthcare workers(HCWs)or the NICU environment to vulnerable neonates with developing immune *** To explore the prevalence of CRAB colonization in NICUs,focusing on neonates,healthcare workers,and the environmental samples,to enhance epidemiological understanding and inform targeted *** We conducted according to PRISMA 2020 checklist guidelines,a comprehensive literature search across multiple databases including MEDLINE(Ovid),EMBASE(Ovid),Global Health(Ovid),Web of Science,and Global Index *** were selected based on predetermined criteria,primarily involving neonates,HCWs,and environmental swabs,using culture or molecular methods to detect CRAB *** excluded studies that did not specifically focus on NICUs,were duplicates,or lacked necessary *** study selection and quality assessment were conducted independently by two *** extraction involved collecting comprehensive details about each *** statistical analysis used a random-effects model to calculate the pooled prevalence and confidence intervals,stratifying results by regional *** assessed study heterogeneity using Cochran's Q statistic and I²statistic,with regression tests employed to evaluate potential publication *** We analyzed 737 records from f
