Initially,the Sigma-1 receptor(S1R)was incorrectly categorized as one of the opioid *** it has since become clear that S1R is a non-opioid non-phencyclidine receptor with molecular chaperone activity.S1R is a 223 amino-acid long protein that shares no clear homology with any other known mammalian proteins,its closest homolog being the fungal ERG2 sterol *** its pharmacological counterpart,the Sigma-2 receptor that was only recently cloned,is genetically distinct.S1R is more likely considered as an atypical ligand-modulated chaperone protein.S1R is widely expressed in many organs including brain where its function has mainly been explored.

第二次世界大战之后,IgE依赖性过敏性疾病的发生呈稳步上升趋势,在人类发展史上,这种现象是很罕见的。许多大规模横断面研究、纵向队列研究及基础实验性研究均指出,在生活方式及生活环境的重大演变过程中人类的一些与过敏相关的'保护性因素'正逐渐消失。其中被广泛认可的观念是:肠道微生态在免疫调节方面扮演着重要角色。本文综述了暴露在不同微生物组成的农场环境对过敏性疾病的保护作用。此外,传统生活环境中的微生物如何促进儿童免疫系统的正常发育,以及此种相互作用在现代生活方式下的不可逆性缺失同样被阐明。'农场效应'的保护作用主要包括:母亲怀孕期间或婴儿期接触动物、谷仓、马厩,饮用未加工的牛奶和其他奶制品。除农场环境中的微生物总量之外,微生物的生物多样性似乎对于这种保护也至关重要,这可能归因于农场环境对机体肠道菌群生物多样性的贡献。过敏性疾病专科医生和儿科医生临床应用传统益生菌(如乳杆菌和双岐杆菌)对过敏性疾病的预防作用并未达到满意的预期效果。小鼠呼吸道过敏性疾病模型研究表明,牛棚中存在着对过敏性疾病起重要预防作用的微生物,如鲁氏不动杆菌(***)F78、乳酸乳球菌(***)G121和松鼠葡萄球菌(***)W620。然而,在对农场环境的卓有成效的研究基础上,研发新一代益生菌仍需要微生物学家、免疫学家和生物工程师以及儿科医生、过敏性疾病专科医生、临床试验专家和伦理委员会之间的密切合作。

Modeling and Simulation of High Frequency Electromagnetics Wave Propagation on Vivaldi Antenna Using Finite Element Method

The simulation of the electromagnetic wave propagation plays an important role in predicting the performance of wireless transmission and communication systems. This research paper performs a numerical simulation using the finite element method (FEM) to study electromagnetic propagation through both conductive and dielectric media. The simulations are made using the COMSOL Multiphysics software which notably implements the finite element method. The microwave is produced by a Vivaldi antenna at the respective frequencies of 2.6 and 5 GHz and the propagation equation is formulated from Maxwell’s equations. The results obtained show that in the air, strong electric fields are observed in the slot and the micro-strip line for the two frequencies, they are even greater when the wave propagates in the glass and very weak for the copper. The 3D evolutions of the wave in air and glass present comparable values at equal frequencies, the curves being more regular in air (dielectric). The radiation patterns produced for air and glass are directional, with a large main lobe, which is narrower at 5 GHz. For copper, the wave propagation is quite uniform in space, and the radiation patterns show two main lobes with a much larger size at 2.6 GHz than at 5 GHz. The propagation medium would therefore influence the range of values of the gain of the antenna.

Electromechanical actuators（EMAs） are becoming increasingly attractive in the field of more electric aircraft because of their outstanding benefits, which include reduced fuel burn and maintenance cost, enhanced system flexibility, and improved management of fault detection and isolation. However, electromechanical actuation raises specific issues when being used for safetycritical aerospace applications like flight controls： huge reflected inertia to load, jamming-type failure, and increase of backlash with service due to wear and local dissipation of heat losses for thermal balance. This study proposes an incremental approach for virtual prototyping of EMAs. It is driven by a model-based system engineering process in order to enable simulation-aided *** practices supported by Bond graph formalism are suggested to develop a model＇s structure efficiently and to make the model ready for use（or extension） by addressing the above mentioned issues. Physical effects are progressively introduced, and the realism of lumped-parameter models is increased step-by-step. In particular, multi-level component models are architected to ensure continuity between engineering activities. The models are implemented in the AMESim simulation environment, and simulation responses are given to illustrate how they can be used for preliminary sizing, control design, thermal balance verification, and faults to failure analysis. The proposed best practices intend to provide engineers with fast, reusable, and efficient means to assess performance virtually and enhance maturity, performance, and robustness.

A new solvothermal post-synthesis treatment for preparing high aspect ratio magnesium aluminium layered double hydroxides(Mg Al–LDHs) has been developed. Treating laurate-intercalated Mg Al–LDHs in pure ethanol in an autoclave for 48 h at 150 °C was found to produce delaminated MgA l–LDH nanosheets with a thickness of ~2.6 nm and an aspect ratio of ~105. It is proposed that the high pressure solvothermal process promotes the insertion of ethanol molecules into the LDH interlayer space, thereby facilitating delamination. This new post-synthesis treatment provides the opportunity for a facile, large scale route to highly delaminated high aspect ratio LDHs, which might be of interest towards novel nanomaterials for energy conversion and storage.

Many aphid species exhibit a variation in reproductive mode which is influenced by winter climate regimes,with cyclical parthenogenetic (CP)lines dominating in cold winter areas (because they produce cold-resistant eggs)and obligate parthenogenetic (OP) ones in mild winter regions (because of their parthenogenetic overwintering).Genetic studies on several aphid species have shown that the OP trait can be transmitted during sexual events involving the 2 types of *** genetic system could be considered as a local safeguarding mechanism for OP alleles in case severe frost would have killed all parthenogenetically overwintering ***,this strategy would only be efficient in restoring local polymorphism in breeding systems if the newly hatched OP recombinants remain competitive over their CP *** this study we compared egg hatching sequences of CP and OP F1 clones from several crosses obtained for 2 cereal aphid species,Sitobion avenae (constant 5℃,8 h of light)and Rhopalosiphum padi (winter outdoor conditions).For ***,we obtained F1 offspring from 6 crosses, involving 4 clones while in *** F1 were obtained from 11 crosses involving 14 clones. We showed that in both species proportions of OP clones were higher in the first half of the progeny relative to the second *** addition,F1 OP clones hatched in the mean about a week earlier than their CP sibs,which gives them a demographic advantage at the start of the growth *** then discussed the consequences of this fitness advantage for the maintenance and spread of the OP trait in aphid populations.

Most of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),are diagnosed at an advanced-stage explaining the poor prognosis of this cancer with a median survival without treatment around 8 months(1-3).Currently,two systemic multi-kinase inhibitors with anti-proliferative and antiangiogenic effects are available as first line treatments in advanced *** first one,Sorafenib,was the only available systemic treatment available during one decade and was associated with an improvement of overall survival of around 3 months compared to placebo(4,5).The second one,lenvatinib,showed a similar median overall survival compared to Sorafenib in a non-inferiority phase-3 trial(6).No second line was available during several years due to toxicity or absence of efficacy of the different drugs tested in multicentric phase 3 randomized controlled trials.

For a decade,sorafenib remained the only drug approved for the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)due to the failure of several phase III trials in which alternative angiogenesis inhibitors were tested(1).In recent years,the field of systemic treatments of HCC has evolved quickly and a recent position paper of the European Association for the Study of the Liver has well described the current advances in the systemic treatment of advanced HCC as well as the unmet needs in the field(1).First,lenvatinib was approved as an alternative to sorafenib in the first-line setting,and,thus,regorafenib,cabozantinib and ramucirumab as second-line treatments for patients who progressed on sorafenib(1).

Potential Impact of Climate Change on the Sediment Fluxes of a Watershed in West Africa: Cas of the Aghien Lagoon, Côte d’Ivoire

The semi-distributed SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tools) model was used in this study to model the sediment yield in the watershed of the Aghien lagoon with an area of 365 km2, located in the north of the district of Abidjan (South-East from C?te d’Ivoire). A sensitivity and uncertainty analysis, as well as calibration of the SWAT model, was conducted using the Sequential Uncertainty Adjustment Procedure (SUFI-2) which is one of the programs interfaced with SWAT in the SWAT-Cup package (SWAT-Calibration-Uncertainty Programs). Five parameters of the SWAT model were found to be more sensitive to sediment fluxes. These have been modified (calibration) sparingly in order to improve the reproduction of observed sediments data. Two measures were used to assess the uncertainty analysis of the model: P-factor and R-factor. The R2 and Nash-Sutcliffe (NS) coefficients of determination were used to assess the quality of the calibration. The P-factor obtained is 0.58 and the R-factor is 2.28. The NS and R2 coefficients in calibration over the period from June 2014 to January 2015 are 0.51 and 0.86 respectively. These values indicate correct consideration of uncertainties by the model and satisfactory calibration of the SWAT model for solid fluxes. Then, the model was used to simulate the sediment fluxes at the horizons 2040 (2035-2056), 2060 (2057-2078) and 2080 (2079-2100) in order to assess the impact of climate
