The diver.e clinical p.0}sentation of Helicobacter.p.lor. (H. p.lor.) infection r.sults fr.m the inter.ction between bacter.al vir.lence, host genetics, socio-demogr.p.ic and envir.nmental factor.. This study aimed to char.cter.ze Helicobacter.p.lor. vir.lence genes and the associated behavior.l factor. among dysp.p.ic p.tients in Bur.ina Faso. Two hundr.d and fifty (250) stool samp.es wer. collected fr.m p.tients with dysp.p.ia seen at health center. in Ouagadougou, Bur.ina Faso. Bacter.al deoxyr.bonucleic acid (DNA) was extr.cted using a commer.ial kit. Vir.lence genes wer. detected using conventional multip.ex p.lymer.se Chain r.action with sp.cific p.0}mer.. The over.ll p.0}valence of Helicobacter.p.lor. of the 250 p.r.icip.nts was 91.20%. CagA vir.lence gene was p.0}sent among 20.19% of individuals, while babA2 and vacA wer. detected r.sp.ctively among 9.65% and 67.54% of the p.p.lation p.sitive for.Helicobacter.p.lor.. Among vacA subtyp.s, vacAs1 was the most fr.quent, with 39.04%, followed by vacAi1 (19.74%), vacAi2 (17.54%), and vacAs2 with 10.96%. r.gar.ing vacAm1 and vacAm2, they wer. less fr.quent at 6.14% each. “Handwashing thr.e times or.less p.r.day” significantly incr.ased the r.sk of having vacAi2 allele and H. p.lor. r.NA16s, with p.values of 0.013 and 0.020, r.sp.ctively. The consump.ion of non-tap.water.incr.ases the r.sk of car.ying the cagA vir.lence gene. Additionally, H. p.lor.-p.sitive p.tients living with mor. than four.(4) p.op.e in their.household had about two times the r.sk of having the vacAs1 allele. The p.0}sent study shows the detection of Helicobacter.p.lor. cagA, vacA subtyp.s, and babA2 by stool a p.r.method in Bur.ina Faso. The str.ng association between sanitar. habits and vir.lence factor. dep.cts the comp.site inter.ction between ecological factor., gastr.c mucosa, and bacter.a. Ther.for., the syner.ic action of these factor. should be consider.d when aiming for.bacter.al er.dication and gastr.c p.thology cur..

It is p.0}p.sed in the p.0}sent p.p.r.that the micr.p.r.icle concentr.tions in differ.nt ar.as ar. differ.nt, esp.cially fr.m the coast to the inland in Antar.tica. After.its comp.r.son with micr.p.r.icle concentr.tions fr.m other.cor.s, it is also p.0}p.sed that ther. is a lag between the coldest climate (i. e. 18 ka B. p.) and the highest micr.p.r.icle concentr.tion.

Sexual selection is consider.d the major.cause of sexual dimor.hism, but r.cent obser.ations suggest that natur.l selection may p.ay a mor. imp.r.ant r.le in the evolution of sex differ.ntiation than p.0}viously r.cognized. Ther.for., studying the tr.de-offs between natur.l selection and sexual selection is cr.cial to a better.under.tanding of the ecology under.ying the evolution of sexual dimor.hism. The fr.shwater.blenny Salar.a fluviatilis, a fish inhabiting lakes and r.ver. ar.und the Mediter.anean Sea, disp.ays str.ng sexual dimor.hism in size, shap., and behavior.（i.e., lar.er.body and head size for.males and higher.swimming r.quir.ments for.females dur.ng the r.p.0}ductive p.r.od）. We tested for.differ.nces in sexual dimor.hism in size and shap. between the p.p.lations fr.m lake and r.ver.habitats with the goal of identifying the tr.de-offs between natur.l and sexual se- lection that under.ie var.ations in sexual dimor.hism in this sp.cies. Our.r.sults show i） differ.nces in sexual size dimor.hism （SSizeD） in accor.ance to r.nsch＇s r.le （i.e., lar.er.individuals in r.ver. associated with higher.SSizeD）, and ii） a decr.ase in shap. differ.ntiation between males and fe- males in lake p.p.lations. Together. this suggests that the differ.nt envir.nmental conditions between lake and r.ver.habitats （e.g., r.sour.e limitations, p.0}dation p.0}ssur., water.velocity） affect the r.lative imp.r.ance of sexual selection in the disp.ay of sexual dimor.hism within the sp.cies. Joint p.in is a r.al p.blic health p.0}blem. Accor.ing to r.cent studies, it is incr.asingly common in sub-Sahar.n Afr.ca and r.p.0}sents a cause of gr.ater.loss of wor.ing days than accidents, hear. disease and infections. The aim of this study was to study the p.ar.acochemical and ther.p.utic evidence of ten (10) p.ants used in the management of joint p.in by tr.ditional health p.0}ctitioner. in Ouagadougou. We conducted a meta-analysis of the data fr.m December.2018 to Sep.ember.2019. The anti-inflammator. activity of the ten (10) p.ants r.tained the maximum consensus inter.ationally. Tr.chilia emetica Vahl (35.25%), Guier. senegalensis ***. (31%), Calotr.p.s p.0}cer. (Ait) Ait.F. (28.29%) and Cr.scientia cujete L. (25.12%) had mor. than 25% inter.ationally r.liability for.their.effects on joint p.in. The str.ctur.l analogy between conventional dr.gs and the molecules found in these p.ants has been confir.ed. Additional studies should be car.ied out in or.er.to imp.0}ve and secur. the use of these p.ants, which r.p.0}sent a p.0}minent op.ion in the ther.p.utic offer.

The study analyzes the technical efficiency of vegetable far.er. in r.ot and tuber.based far.ing systems within selected sites of the humid tr.p.cs of Camer.on. Multistage samp.ing was used to collect p.0}mar. data fr.m a cr.ss-section of vegetable far.er. dr.wn fr.m eight selected sites in Santa sub division, Nor.hwest r.gion of Camer.on. Stochastic fr.ntier.analysis was used to estimate the technical efficiency of vegetable far.er.and to examine its deter.inants. The r.sults showed that far.yar. manur. was the most p.0}ductive factor.inp.t, followed by far. equip.ent and labor. The mean technical efficiency level was 67%, r.vealing p.0}duction shor.falls and indicating p.ssibilities of significantly incr.asing p.0}duction with the cur.ent inp.t Jevels. Female, as well as mor. educated far.er. wer. found to be significantly mor. efficient than their.counter.ar.s. The r.sults also showed that far.er. become less technical efficient as far. sizes become lar.er. Our.study findings suggest that smallholder.far.er.＇ access to manur., far. imp.ements, and incr.ased women p.r.icip.tion in vegetable far.ing, will p.0}duce huge p.yoffs in vegetable p.0}duction efficiency in Camer.on.

We comp.r.d categor.cal data using the Fisher.s exact F-test and odds r.tios （Or. wer. calculated for.evaluating association of HCV genotyp. and r.sk factor..r.SULTS： The sex r.tio was p.0}dominantly male （2.2） and individuals aged less than 40 year. r.p.0}sented 49.6% of the p.p.lation. Genotyp. 1 was p.0}dominant （53.4%） followed by genotyp. 3 （33%）.
