Various 3D mode.ing software.has be.n de.e.ope. for de.ign and manufacturing. Most of the.comme.cially available.software.use. native.file.formats, which may not be.able.to be.re.d or unde.stood by othe. software. This pape. de.ls with the.de.e.opme.t of a ge.e.ic approach of a 3D mode. conve.sion program for virtual manufacturing （VM）, using a le.ical analyze. ge.e.ator Le. and the.Ope. Graphic Library （Ope.GL）. The.program is able.to conve.t 3D me.h data be.we.n four unive.sal file.formats, i.e., Ste.e.lithography （STL）, Virtual Re.lity Mode.ing Language.（VRML）, e.te.sible.Markup Language.（XML）, and Obje.t （OBJ）. Simple.asse.bly functions can be.applie. to the.importe. mode.s. The.quate.nion angle.is use. for obje.t rotation to ove.come.the.proble. of gimbal lock or a loss of one.de.re. of rotational fre.dom. The.program has be.n validate. by importing the.ne.tral format mode.s into the.program, applying the.transformation, saving the.ne. mode.s with a ne. coordinate.syste., and lastly e.porting into othe. comme.cial software. The.study re.e.le. that nodulation re.ponse.and biomass production in both spe.ie. showe. significant diffe.e.ce. ove. time.p e. e.ce.t in the.root-shoot ratio(ove.-dry) of L. le.coce.hala. The.study also showe. significant diffe.e.ce.(p e.formation and biomass production at the.e.d of the.study pe.iod be.we.n the.two spe.ie. e.ce.t in the.numbe. of nodule. and le.ve. and the.gre.n root-shoot ratio. The.e.we.e.strong positive.corre.ations be.we.n nodule.formation and biomass production, i.e., the.numbe. of nodule. and the.age.of plants, the.numbe. of nodule. and le.ve., as we.l as the.numbe. of nodule. and biomass(root biomass and shoot biomass) in both spe.ie.. The.re.ults obtaine. using principal compone.t analysis(PCA) and corre.ation coe.ficie.ts of the.diffe.e.t characte.istics of nodulation and biomass production we.e.similar in both spe.ie.. The.PCA showe. that shoot biomass(shoot gre.n we.ght and shoot ove.-dry we.ght) is positive.y corre.ate. with PC1(with an e.ge.value.of 7.50) and root le.gth is positive.y corre.ate. with PC2(with an e.ge.value.of 0.19) in the.case.of A. saman. In the.case.of L. le.coce.hala, the.PCA re.e.le. that root biomass(root gre.n we.ght and root ove.-dry we.ght), shoot biomass and shoot le.gth are.also positive.y corre.ate. with PC1, while.nodule.formation and the.numbe. of le.ve. are.positive.y corre.ate. with PC2(with an e.ge.value.PC1 of 6.92 and PC2 of 0.49).

We.inve.tigate. the.morphology and ge.mination of Tamarindus indica se.ds in orde. to discove. the.e.- fe.ts of variation in se.d source. and pre.sowing tre.tme.ts on ge.mination. The.e.pe.ime.t was carrie. out in the.nurse.y of the.Fore.try and Wood Te.hnology Discipline. Khulna Unive.sity, Banglade.h. Se.ds we.e.colle.te. from diffe.e.t but he.lthy tre.s from various locations in Banglade.h and subje.te. to four pre.sowing tre.tme.ts, i.e., control, imme.sion in cold wate. （4℃ for 24 h）, imme.sion in hot wate. （80℃ for 10 min） and scarification with sand pape.. Se.d ge.mination was carrie. out in poly-bags with a mixture.of topsoil and cow dung in the.ratio of 3：1. The.ave.age.le.gth of the.fre.h se.ds was 1.35 ＋ 0.26 cm, the.r width 1.07 ＋ 0.20 cm and thickne.s 0.69 ＋ 0.11 cm. The.re.ults re.e.le. that pre.sowing tre.tme.ts affe.te. the.ge.mination proce.s of se.ds, which significantly incre.se. the.ge.mination pe.ce.tage.with the.cold wate. （81.67%） and scarification with sand pape. （82.33%） tre.tme.ts, compare. with those.in the.control （58.33%） and hot wate. tre.tme.t （59.00%）. In all tre.tme.ts ge.mination starte. on ave.age.within 5 to 7 days afte. the.start of the.tre.tme.ts and we.e.comple.e. from 13 to 19 days late.. The.gre.te.t succe.s in ge.mination （82.33%） was found in scarification with sand pape., followe. with 81.67% in the.cold wate. tre.tme.t. The.re.ults of analyse. of variance.（ANOVA） showe. significant diffe.e.ce. （p 〈 0.05） in ge.mination closing date., se.d ge.mination pe.iods and ge.mination pe.ce.tage. among the.tre.tme.ts but no significant diffe.e.ce.among se.d source.. Howe.e., the.e.fe.t of the.inte.action be.we.n se.d source.variation and pre.tre.tme.t diffe.e. significantly in se.d ge.mination closing date. and ge.mination pe.ce.tage..
