The review article describes the criteria established for methodology of antisense anti IGF-I therapy of malignant tumors, particularly of glioblastoma. The cancer patients, after classical therapy of surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, have undergone the injection of genetically modified autologous malignant cells—transfected by IGF-I antisense/triple helix expression vectors. For all cancer patients supervised for up to 19 months, the period corresponding to minimum survival of glioblastoma patients, the following common immune criteria for “anti IGF-I” strategy were admitted: 1) characteristics of cell “vaccines”—absence of IGF-I and expression of MHC-I in cloned transfected cells;2) the peripheral blood lymphocytes, PBL cells, removed after every of two successive vaccinations, demonstrate an increasing level of Cd8+ and Cd8+28+ molecules (with a switch from Cd8+11b+ to Cd8+11b-).

基于岩土介质三维孔隙结构的两相流模型

地下储层中岩土介质一般具有较低的孔隙连通性,宏观流动模拟一般忽略微观尺度的孔隙连通性,通过渗透率、弯曲度等参数反映储层的整体特性。但岩土介质的多孔性及孔隙间复杂的连通性,使得宏观描述流体在岩土介质中流动不能反映其内在流动特征。孔隙结构模型的建立可以反映岩土介质中孔隙的几何形态及空间连通性,为解释流体在复杂多孔介质中的流动特性提供有效手段。通过考虑岩土介质孔隙尺寸分布、孔隙孔喉空间相关性、孔隙连通性等特征参数,建立了反映不同岩土介质连通性、各向异性特征的等效孔隙网络模型。等效孔隙网络模型通过水力特征参数等效的方式反映岩土介质三维微观孔隙结构,通过渗透率计算验证了模型的有效性。此外,基于建立的孔隙结构模型,开发了孔隙尺度动态两相流计算模型,模型可以反映孔隙内弯液面的动态运动过程,直观反映多孔介质中的优势渗流,可以为不同孔隙尺度岩土介质提供表观渗透率、击穿曲线、相对渗透率曲线等宏观计算参数。将孔隙尺度两相流模型应用于页岩气开采中水力阻滞特性研究,结果表明:页岩基质的残余饱和度约为30%,随着平均配位数的增加,残余饱和度显著降低。

Angiosarcoma is an extremely aggressive tumor with a high rate of mortality. It can arise in any tissue of the body and is most commonly found in the skin and soft tissue[1]. Pulmonary angiosarcoma is usually secondary to a primary location of the body and presents as both solitary and multiple nodules. Primary pulmonary angiosarcoma is a rare disease with less than 20 cases reported in the English literature. In our report we present a case of metastatic primary pulmonary angiosarcoma involving the most ( > 100) pulmonary nodules known to date. Novel treatment strategy using an anti-angiogenic inhibitor was used to treat this disease for the first time to our knowledge;however, it was unsuccessful in controlling disease progression. This report reviews the literature of this rare and devastating disease.

背景和目的:脊髓刺激(SCS)是临床上治疗慢性疼痛和周围血管病的有效方法。腰2-3SCS使下肢末梢血流(BF)增加,其机理与交感神经传出活动抑制和逆向刺激传入神经有关。有研究显示辣椒素受体-1(TRPV1)广泛表达于初级感觉神经元,即背根神经节和三叉神经节的细胞胞体及其中枢和外周的轴突末梢。而一氧化氮(NO)作用于血管平滑肌,活化鸟苷酸环化酶产生环磷酸鸟苷,钙依赖性钾通道开放,产生舒张血管作用。降钙素基因相关肽(CGRP)由降钙素Cal/CGRP基因表达,是具有极强的扩张血管作用的生物活性多肽。本研究旨在观察上颈段脊髓刺激(cSCS)对大鼠耳血流的影响,并探讨TRPV1,NO和CGRP在颈1-2SCS对耳血流增加的作用。

The current cam and follower mechanism in four stroke internal combustion engine employs a flat follower. In this work an attempt is made to change the flat face of follower to a curved face follower, so that the required point contact can be achieved. As line contact between existing cam and follower mechanism results in high frictional losses which results in low mechanical efficiency. It is observed that the frequency of vibration in the existing and modified cam and follower mechanism remains almost same. The finite element approach is used to perform the analysis.

Multispectral observations from unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs)are currently used for precision agriculture and crop phenotyping applications to monitor a series of traits allowing the characterization of the vegetation ***,the limited autonomy of UAVs makes the completion of flights difficult when sampling large *** the throughput of data acquisition while not degrading the ground sample distance(GSd)is,therefore,a critical issue to be *** propose here a new image acquisition configuration based on the combination of two focal length(f)optics:an optics with f=4:2 mm is added to the standard f=8 mm(SS:single swath)of the multispectral camera(dS:double swath,double of the standard one).Two flights were completed consecutively in 2018 over a maize field using the AIRPHEN multispectral camera at 52 m *** dS flight plan was designed to get 80%overlap with the 4.2 mm optics,while the SS one was designed to get 80%overlap with the 8 mm *** a result,the time required to cover the same area is halved for the dS as compared to the *** georeferencing accuracy was improved for the dS configuration,particularly for the Z dimension due to the larger view angles available with the small focal length *** to plant height estimates demonstrates that the dS configuration provides similar results as the SS ***,for both the dS and SS configurations,degrading the quality level used to generate the 3d point cloud significantly decreases the plant height estimates.

Aim: Whole genome sequencing and functional annotation of Bacillus nealsonii strain AAU1, an amylolytic anaerobic spore forming isolate from ruminal contents of buffalo. Methods and Results: Morphologically, the strain was observed as slender Grampositive rods, occurring in pairs. Optimal growth was observed at 40°C (range: 30°C to 45°C) and pH 6.5 (range: 5.5 to 7.5) when cultivated in Hungate’s medium supplemented with starch. The microorganism showed extracellular constitutive amylolytic activity, proving to be capable of utilizing glucose, maltose, mannose, trehalose, dextrin and starch under anaerobic conditions. Sequence analysis revealed a GC content of 35.1 mol%. Comparison of housekeeping gene sequences for RNA polymerase subunit B (rpoB) and gyrase A (gyrA) identified sequence similarity within the Bacillus genus, confirmed by 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity which identified Bacillus nealsonii dSM 15077 as the closest publically available relative. Chemotaxonomic analysis provided conflicting results with straight-chain saturated C16: 0/C16:0 aldehyde, C16:0 dMA, C14:0 and monounsaturated 16:1w7c and 16:1w9c the major fatty acids in contrast to those reported for B. nealsonii dSM15077. Further characterization using AN-Bilog and physiological parameters provided genotypic and phenotypic support for taxonomic classification of isolate AAU1 with published Bacillus species including B. licheniformis, B. subtilis, B. circulans and B. nealsonii. Conclusion: Based on the data presented, isolate is likely to represent a new strain/subspecies, for which the identifier B. nealsonii AAU1 is proposed. Significance and Impact of Study: The strict anaerobic conditions prevailing in the bovine rumen from where AAU1 was isolated may have resulted in genetic polymorphism influencing its metabolic characteristics.
