A Compact self-Isolated MIMO Antenna system for 5G Mobile Terminals

A compact self-isolated Multi Input Multi Output (MIMO) antennaarray is presented for 5G mobile phone devices. The proposed antenna systemis operating at the 3.5 GHz band (3400–3600 MHz) and consists of eight antennaelements placed along two side edges of a mobile device, which meets the currenttrend requirements of full-screen smartphone devices. Each antenna element isdivided into two parts, a front part and back part. The front part consists of anI-shaped feeding line and a modified Hilbert fractal monopole antenna, whereasthe back part is an L-shaped element shorted to the system ground by a0.5 mm short stub. A desirable compactness can be obtained by utilizing the Hilbert space-filling property where the antenna element’s overall planar size printedon the side-edge frame is just (9.57 mm × 5.99 mm). The proposed MIMO antenna system has been simulated, analyzed, fabricated and tested. Based on the selfisolated property, good isolation (better than 15 dB) is attained without employingadditional decoupling elements and/or isolation techniques, which increases system complexity and reduces the antenna efficiency. The scattering parameters,antenna efficiencies, antenna gains, and antenna radiation characteristics areinvestigated to assess the proposed antenna performance. For evaluating the proposed antenna array system performance, the Envelope Correlation Coefficients(ECCs), Mean Effective Gains (MEGs) and channel capacity are *** antenna and MIMO performances are evaluated to confirm the suitability of the proposed MIMO antenna system for 5G mobile terminals.

Wind energy is featured by instability due to a number of factors,such as weather,season,time of the day,climatic area and so ***,instability in the generation of wind energy brings new challenges to electric power grids,such as reliability,flexibility,and power *** transition requires a plethora of advanced techniques for accurate forecasting of wind *** this context,wind energy forecasting is closely tied to machine learning(ML)and deep learning(DL)as emerging technologies to create an intelligent energy management *** article attempts to address the short-term wind energy forecasting problem in Estonia using a historical wind energy generation data ***,we taxonomically delve into the state-of-the-art ML and DL algorithms for wind energy forecasting and implement different trending ML and DL algorithms for the day-ahead *** the selection of model parameters,a detailed exploratory data analysis is *** models are trained on a real-time Estonian wind energy generation dataset for the first time with a frequency of 1 *** main objective of the study is to foster an efficient forecasting technique for *** comparative analysis of the results indicates that support Vector Machine(sVM),Non-linear Autoregressive Neural Networks(NAR),and Recurrent Neural Network-Long-Term short-Term Memory(RNNLsTM)are respectively 10%,25%,and 32%more efficient compared to TsO’s forecasting ***,RNN-LsTM is the best-suited and computationally effective DL method for wind energy forecasting in Estonia and will serve as a futuristic solution.

We propose a novel axis-symmetric modified hybrid permanent magnet(PM)/electromagnet(EM) magnetomotive force actuator for a variable valve timing camless engine. The design provides a large magnetic force with low energy consumption, low coil inductance, PM demagnetization isolation, and improved transient response. simulation and experimental results confirm forces of about 200 N(in the presence of coil current) at the equilibrium position and 500 N(in the absence of coil current) at the armature seat. We compared our proposed design with a double solenoid valve actuator(DsVA). The finite element method(FEM) designs of the DsVA and our proposed valve actuator were validated by experiments performed on manufactured prototypes.

Water Quality Index (WQI) was applied in Dokan Lake, kurdistan region, Iraq using ten water quality parameters (pH, Dissolved Oxygen, Turbidity, Conductivity, Hardness, Alkalinity, sodium, Biochemical Oxygen Demand, Nitrate and Nitrite). The relative weight assigned to each parameter ranged from 1 to 4 based on the importance of the parameter for aquatic life. The results indicated that water quality of Dokan Lake declined from Good in the years 1978, 1979, 1980, 1999, 2000 and 2008 to Poor in 2009. The impact of various anthropogenic activities was evident on some parameters such as the EC and BOD. It is suggested that monitoring of the lake is necessary for proper management. Application of the WQI is also suggested as a very helpful tool that enables the public and decision makers to evaluate water quality of lakes in Iraq.
