Ransomware is a type of malicious software that blocks access to a computer by encrypting user’s files until a ransom is paid to the *** have been several reported high-profile ransomware attacks including WannaCry,Petya,and Bad Rabbit resulting in losses of over a billion dollars to various individuals and businesses in the *** analysis of ransomware is often carried out via sandbox environments;however,the initial setup and configuration of such environments is a challenging ***,it is difficult for an ordinary computer user to correctly interpret the complex results presented in the reports generated by such environments and analysis *** this research work,we aim to develop a user-friendly model to understand the taxonomy and analysis of ransomware ***,we aim to present the results of analysis in the form of summarized reports that can easily be understood by an ordinary computer *** model is built on top of the well-known Cuckoo sandbox environment for identification of the ransomware as well as generation of the summarized *** addition,for evaluating the usability and accessibility of our proposed model,we conduct a comprehensive user survey consisting of participants from various fields,e.g.,professional developers from software houses,people from academia(professors,students).Our evaluation results demonstrate a positive feedback of approximately 92%on the usability of our proposed model.

We consider an iterative phase synchronization scheme based on maximum a posteriori probability *** classical approaches,the phase noise estimation model considers one sample per symbol at the channel and ***,information theoretic studies suggested use of more than one sample per symbol at the channel and receiver for achieving higher *** this article,a soft-information aided iterative receiver is derived,which uses off-the-shelf blocks for detection and demodulation by keeping the complexity of the receiver *** consider here two samples per symbols at the channel and receiver in a pragmatic *** is shown that phase noise estimation can be significantly improved at the expense of modest processing *** results are presented for low-density parity check coded quadrature amplitude *** results show a significant performance improvement for strong phase noise values compared to classical receiver approaches.

Kinetics of Acid Blue 1 Adsorption from Aqueous Solution by Carbonaceous Substrate Produced from Biotic Precursor

Adsorption of acid blue 1 from aqueous solution onto carbonaceous substrate produced from the wood of Paulownia tomentosa was investigated. The samples characterized by FTIR, SEM, EDS and XRD techniques, indicated that the surface functional groups like carboxyl, lactones or phenols and ethers have disappeared at high activation temperature （800 ℃） and as a result porous structure was developed that has a positive effect on the adsorption capacity. Bangham and parabolic diffusion models were applied to the kinetic adsorption data, which show that the adsorption of acid blue 1 was a diffusion controlled process. The reaction rate increased with the increase in temperatures of both the adsorption and activation. Thermodynamic parameters like △E^≠, △H^≠, △S^≠ and △G^≠ were calculated from the kinetic data. The negative values of △S^≠ reflected the decrease in the disorder of the system at the solid-solution interface during adsorption. Gibbs free energy （△G^≠）, representing the driving force for the affinity of dye for the carbon surface, increased with the increase in sample activation and the adsorption temperatures.

Lack of temperature sensation of myoelectric prosthetic hand limits the daily activities of *** this end,a noninvasive temperature sensation method is proposed to train amputees to sense temperature with psychophysical sensory *** this study,22 healthy participants took part besides 5 amputee *** duration time of the study was 31 days with five test steps according to the Leitner *** adjustable temperature mug and a Peltier were used to change the temperature of the water/phantom digits to induce temperature to ***,to isolate the surroundings and show colors,a Virtual Reality(VR)glass was *** statistical results conducted are based on the response of participants with questionnaire *** Chi-square tests,it is concluded that participants answer the experiment significantly correctly using the Leitner technique(P value<0.05).Also,by applying the“Repeated Measures ANOVA”,it is noticed that the time of numbness felt by participants had significant(P value<0.001)*** could remember lowest and highest temperatures significantly better than other temperatures(P value<0.001);furthermore,the well-trained amputee participant practically using the prosthesis with 72.58%could identify object’s temperature with only once time experimenting the color temperature.

Petrophysical relationship for density prediction using Vp & Vs in Meyal oilfield, Potwar sub-basin, Pakistan

Conventional petrophysical investigations are based on P-wave seismic velocity analysis to predict density information, while ignoring the important S-wave velocity. This study is based on S-wave velocity analysis of density estimation of Meyal Oil Field(Potwar Plateau, Pakistan), which reveals a very high correlation(R=0.87) between predicted and actual density. Since the availability of S-wave velocity(Vs) data increases, it’s highly appreciable to take into account the contribution of Vs in improvement of density estimates. This investigation only focuses on driving new constants(a = 1.92 and b = 0.186) for Gardner’s relationship to estimate density of pure carbonates(Vsh< 10%) in the study area, where the traditional model gave poorer density predictions. The proposed empirical expression with locally extracted unknowns from well log data proved its ability in terms of density prediction(showing very close agreement with measured densities) and best fitting the datasets at low as well as high density values when compared with Gardner’s equation. Based on our analysis, the exploratory study neither intends to replace the well established density estimation models nor to extend information over what information can possibly be extractable from Vp. However, our research does stimulate the growing use of Vs and importance of local unknown constants especially in carbonates reservoir interval to avoid misuse of most widely used Gardner relation in all geological settings.

A consensus meeting of national experts from all major national hepatobiliary centres in the country was held on May 26,2023,at the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute&Research Centre(PKLI&RC)after initial consultations with the *** Pakistan Society for the Study of Liver Diseases(PSSLD)and PKLI&RC jointly organised this *** effort was based on a comprehensive literature review to establish national practice guidelines for hilar cholangiocarcinoma(hCCA).The consensus was that hCCA is a complex disease and requires a multidisciplinary team approach to best manage these *** coordinated effort can minimise delays and give patients a chance for curative treatment and effective *** diagnostic and staging workup includes high-quality computed tomography,magnetic resonance imaging,and magnetic resonance *** cytology or biopsy utilizing endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography is a mainstay for ***,histopathologic confirmation is not always required before *** ultrasound with fine needle aspiration of regional lymph nodes and positron emission tomography scan are valuable adjuncts for *** only curative treatment is the surgical resection of the biliary tree based on the Bismuth-Corlette *** patients with unresectable hCCA can be considered for liver *** chemotherapy should be offered to patients with a high risk of *** use of preoperative biliary drainage and the need for portal vein embolisation should be based on local multidisciplinary *** with acute cholangitis can be drained with endoscopic or percutaneous biliary *** chemotherapy with cisplatin and gemcitabine has shown improved survival in patients with irresectable and recurrent hCCA.

Introduction:Economic ties and trade blocs increase the flow of trade between participating countries and lead to different levels of economic and structural *** description:This paper focuses on the structure of industrial value-added between China and Pakistan,as the two countries recently launched the CPEC(China-Pakistan Economic Corridor)*** and evaluation:This study utilizes panel data from 1995 to 2015 to test certain factor effects on regional value-added through econometric *** results show that each country has its own economic growth rate and market size that respond differently to industrial value-added ***:Aggregate factor productivity at China is higher than in Pakistan but growth in factor productivity in the latter is higher than the former;similarly,the share of bilateral trade is higher in the case of *** each country responds differently to the new economic ties,the macroeconomic results support bilateral economic ties between them.

CD137 belongs to the tumor necrosis factor receptor group which comprise of cytokines that play a significant role in triggering inflammatory events following an injury in *** is generally expressed in activated T cells aside from CD8 T cells and CD4 T *** interesting characteristic of CD137 is its co-stimulatory effect at the immune checkpoint,and this is one of the reasons why immunologists have taken strong interest on this *** studies have found that CD137 plays a crucial part in atherosclerosis *** main goal of this thesis is to explain the function of CD137 in the development of *** also aims to explain the mechanisms behind the activation of CD137 signaling and expression atherosclerotic lesions as well as investigate the role of CD137 in immune regulation and ***,the investigation of the function of CD137 in leukocyte migration and cell adhesion as well as the association between CD137 and plaque stability were taken into consideration in the ***,it aims to explain the relationship between CD137 and the clinical events of cardiovascular *** human immune cells,the expression of CD137 results to the development of plaque inflammation,which advances to atherosclerotic *** addition,research findings also suggest that CD137 constitutes a potential factor for the destabilization of plaques and it also promotes higher risk for the occurrence of plaque *** research is suggested with regard to genetic pathways involved with CD137 signaling as well as its participation in tumor therapy and other mechanisms.
