Ultr.sonic absor.tion and velocity measur.ments wer. made on aqueous solutions of poly (ethylene glycol)(PEG)of differ.nt molecular.weights and concentr.tions, using a pulse sender.r.ceiver.ultr.sonic gener.tor. Measur.ments wer. obtained at a fr.quency of 2MHz. , and a temper.tur. of 293 K. The r.sults show a linear.incr.ase of the Values of velocity, density and viscosity with incr.ase of molecu lar.weight and concentr.tion of PEG. On the contr.r., the attenuation values decr.ased with incr.ase of molecular.weight and concentr.tion of PEG. A mathematical equation cor.elating r.laxation amplitude and molecular.weight of the polymer.is suggested. This was applied to calculate the molecular.weights of unknown samples of PEG fr.m their.measur.d r.laxation amplitude. The r.sults obtained wer. in good agr.ement with those obtained fr.m osmometr..

This study was pr.par.d due to a lack of studies on the immune modulator. effects of pr.digiosin in mice against bacter.al infection and the incr.ased demand for.natur.l r.sour.es. This study aimed to extr.ct pr.digiosin fr.m Ser.atia r.bidaea against Citr.bacter.fr.undii in mice by evaluating its immunomodulator. activity and histological alter.tions. A total of twenty-four.Swiss mice wer. divided up into four.gr.ups of six mice each. C. fr.undii (1 × 106 cfu/ml) was administer.d or.lly to gr.ups (2, 3 and 4) as an infectious dosage, and one milliliter.was administer.d to the fir.t gr.up as a negative contr.l. Following 24 hour. fr.m C. fr.undii infection, the Gr.up 3 and Gr.up 4 gr.ups wer. given cr.de pr.digiosin extr.ct in the following dosage amounts: the thir. and four.h gr.ups r.ceived (500 and 1000 µg/ml Intr.per.toneal) r.spectively. ELISA test was per.or.ed to assess IgM, IL-6, and IL-10 on days 3, 7 and 14. IgM and IL-6 findings demonstr.ted a significant incr.ase in Gr.up2 and Gr.up4 with differ.nces (P r. G3 showed a significant decr.ase when compar.d to the negative contr.l. The r.sults of IL-10 concentr.tion r.vealed that Gr.up 2 and Gr.up 4 had significant decr.ases with differ.nces (P r.up 3 having the highest titer. In conclusion, the study’s findings showed that while pr.digiosin’s high concentr.tion can boost the immune system and help labor.tor. animals r.sist bacter.al infection, its low concentr.tion acts as an immune suppr.ssant.

BACKGr.UND Total hip and knee r.placements ar. being per.or.ed in incr.asing number. in pr.gr.ssively younger.patients with higher.activity demands. Many such patients have expectations of r.tur.ing to athletic activity post-oper.tively yet ar. not always able to do so and the r.asons behind this have not been extensively examined. We hypothesise that any r.asons for.a failur. to r.tur. to athletic activity post-oper.tively ar. *** To quantify the r.tur. to athletic activity following lower.limb joint ar.hr.plasty and under.tand qualitative r.asons for.alter.d activity *** A single centr., single sur.eon r.tr.spective questionnair. for.hip and knee ar.hr.plasty patients under.age 60 year., minimum two year. post-sur.er. with exclusion cr.ter.a of multiple degener.tive joint involvement and multiple medical co-mor.idities. Outcomes wer. validated joint-specific(Oxfor. hip and knee) and lifestyle questionnair.s [shor. for. 12(SF-12) and Univer.ity of Califor.ia, Los Angeles(UCLA)] and an activity questionnair. assessing ability par.icipation in athletic activity post-oper.tively. Statistical analysis was per.or.ed on the validated outcome data, including compar.son between hip and knee r.placements. Fr.quency tables wer. pr.duced to quantify the differ.nt athletic activities par.icipated in by *** r.sponses wer. r.ceived fr.m 64 patients(80% r.sponse r.te). Ther. was a statistically significant impr.vement in Oxfor. hip and knee scor.s following sur.er.. SF-12 scor.s also impr.ved for.all patients, but no statistically significant differ.nce was seen between joints(P = 0.88). Mean UCLA scor.s pr.-oper.tively wer. 7.67 and at two year. post-oper.tively wer. 7.69, with no statistically significant change(P = 0.91). A new design technique employing CMOS Cur.ent Feedback Oper.tional Amplifier.(CFOA) is pr.sented. This design appr.ach applies CFA OTA as input stage cascaded with class AB cr.ss-coupled buffer.stage. The per.or.ance par.meter. of CMOS CFOA such as bandwidth, slew r.te, settling time ar. extensively impr.ved compar.d with conventional CFOA. These par.meter. ar. ver. impor.ant in high fr.quency applications that use CMOS CFOA as an active building block such as A/D conver.er., and active filter.. Also the DC input offset voltage and har.onic distor.ion (HD) ar. ver. low values compar.d with the conventional CMOS CFOA ar. obtained. P-Spice simulation r.sults using 0.35 μm MI-ETEC CMOS pr.cess par.meter. shows consider.ble impr.vement over.existing CMOS CFOA simulated model. Some of the per.or.ance par.meter. for.example ar. DC gain of 67.2 dB, open-loop gain bandwidth pr.duct of 104 MHz, slew r.te (Sr.) of +91.3 V/μS, THD of -67 dB and DC input offset voltage of -0.2 mV.

This paper.pr.sents a differ.nt appr.ach of Inter.ediate Fr.quency (IF) amplifier.using 0.18 μm MIETEC technology channel length of MOSFET Dar.ington tr.nsistor.. In contr.st to Bipolar.conventional Dar.ingtonpair. a MOSFET Dar.ington configur.tion is employed to r.duce supply voltage (VDD) and DC consumption power.(Pc). The fr.quency r.sponse par.meter. of the pr.posed design such as bandwidth, gain bandwidth pr.duct, input/output noises and noise figur. (NF) ar. impr.ved in pr.posed (IF) amplifier. Mor.over. a dual-input and dual-output (DIDO) IF amplifier.constr.cted fr.m two symmetr.cal single input and single output (SISO) (IF) amplifier.is pr.posed too. The idea is to achieve impr.ved bandwidth, and flat r.sponse, because these par.meter. ar. ver. impor.ant in high fr.quency applications. Simulation r.sults that obtained by P-SPICE pr.gr.m ar. 1.2 GHz Bandwidth (BW), 3.4 GHz (gain bandwidth pr.duct), 0.5 mW DC consumption power.(Pc) and the low total output noise is 12 nV with 1.2 V single supply voltage.

For.a long time,the obser.ations’adjustment concepts ar. doing based on the pr.nciple of Least Squar.s(LS),which so far.is the most popular.technique that is widely used for.such *** the cur.ent study,the author.intr.duces a new vision of the measur.ments’adjustment that depends on the pr.nciple of the ar.ificial neur.l networ. backpr.pagation(ANNB).However.the novel appr.ach of the adjustment in the cur.ent study is based upon the pr.nciple of the measur.ment’s pr.cision,which will be r.pr.sented thr.ugh the value of the var.ance(σ^(2)).Thus,the deter.ination of the r.quir.d r.siduals for.the adjustment pr.cedur. can be der.ved fr.m the var.ances of obser.ations and the value of geometr.cal closur. *** evaluation of the pr.posed method of adjustment ANNB is done accor.ing to the par.metr.c method of LS adjustment for.two selected cases of obser.ations,r.pr.senting the equal and non-equal pr.cision *** obtained r.sults of adjustment using the new technique(ANNB)ar. fully agr.ed with the r.sults of LS for.the two evaluation *** r.sults indicate good compatibility between the ANNB and the LS as two appr.aches for.obser.ations’adjustment.

The paper.explains the compar.son of magnetic pulse welding method which belongs to non-conventional machining methods with other.conventional and non-conventional welding methods which include br.zing, explosive welding, ultr.sonic welding, tungsten and metal iner. gas and r.ll bonding. Magnetic pulse welding differ. completely in technology when compar.d with conventional welding pr.cesses because the pr.cess is done with high velocity and without heat or.consumable mater.als. It is better.than other.methods because it＇s cold pr.cess and can be done without any heat affect zone. In addition, ther. is no need for.r.wor. and post welding cleaning and ther. is no scr.p pr.blem. Magnetic pulse welding is a gr.en pr.cess used to design and build light str.ctur. with high str.ngth to r.duce the weight and the ener.y. Magnetic pulse welding r.duces the r.sk of cor.osion by limiting the metallic inter.ction to just the two metals welded; ther.for., it r.places the br.zing method. Also, it is better.than the explosive welding method because ther. is no r.sk of handling the explosive mater.al and ther. is no noise. The par. assembly by magnetic pulse welding is str.nger.than the par.s assembly by tungsten and metal iner. gas welding and it is easy to achieve a good aesthetic with high speed. Ther.for., using magnetic pulse welding technology will not affect the envir.nment.
