Environmental s.res.es.profoundly altered accumulation of nons.ns. mRNAs.including intron-retaining （IR） trans.ripts.in Arabidops.s. Temporal patterns.of s.res.-induced IR mRNAs.were dis.ected us.ng both os.illating and non-os.illating trans.ripts. Broad-range thermal cycles.triggered a s.arp increas. in the long IR CCA1 is.forms.and altered their phas.ng to different times.of day. Both abiotic and biotic s.res.es.s.ch as.drought or Ps.udomonas.s.ringae infection induced a s.milar increas.. Thermal s.res. induced a time delay in accumulation of CCA1 14Rb trans.ripts. whereas.functional mRNA s.owed s.eady os.illations. Our data favor a hypothes.s.that s.res.-induced ins.abilities.of the central os.illator can be in part compens.ted through fluctuations.in abundance and out-of-phas. os.illations.of CCA1 IR trans.ripts. Taken together, our res.lts.s.pport a concept that mRNA abundance can be modulated through altering ratios.between functional and nons.ns./IR trans.ripts. s.45 protein s.ecifically bound to the retained CCA1 intron in vitro, s.gges.ing that this.s.!icing factor could be involved in regulation of intron retention. Trans.riptomes.of nons.ns.-mediated mRNA decay （NMD）-impaired and heat-s.res.ed plants.s.ared a s.t of retained introns.as.ociated with s.res.- and defens.-inducible trans.ripts. Cons.itutive activation of certain s.res. res.ons. networks.in an NMD mutant could be linked to dis.quilibrium between functional and nons.ns. mRNAs.

Introduction The application of large language models.s.ch as.generative pre-trained trans.ormers.GPTs.has.been promis.ng in medical education,and its.performance has.been tes.ed for different medical *** s.udy aims.to as.es. the performance of GPTs.in res.onding to a s.t of s.mple ques.ions.of s.ort-ans.er management problems.s.MPs.from the certification exam of the College of Family Phys.cians.of Canada(CFPC).Method Between Augus. 8th and 25th,2023,we us.d GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 in five rounds.to ans.er a s.mple of 77 s.MPs.ques.ions.from the CFPC *** independent certified family phys.cian reviewers.s.ored AI-generated res.ons.s.twice:firs.,according to the CFPC ans.er key(ie,CFPC s.ore),and s.cond,bas.d on their knowledge and other references.ie,Reviews.s.ore).An ordinal logis.ic generalis.d es.imating equations.GEE)model was.applied to analys. repeated meas.res.acros. the five *** According to the CFPC ans.er key,607(73.6%)lines.of ans.ers.by GPT-3.5 and 691(81%)by GPT-4 were deemed ***’s.s.oring s.gges.ed that about 84%of the lines.of ans.ers.provided by GPT-3.5 and 93%of GPT-4 were *** GEE analys.s.confirmed that over five rounds.the likelihood of achieving a higher CFPC s.ore Percentage for GPT-4 was.2.31 times.more than GPT-3.5(OR:2.31;95%CI:1.53 to 3.47;ps.milarly,the Reviewers.s.ore percentage for res.ons.s.provided by GPT-4 over 5 rounds.were 2.23 times.more likely to exceed thos. of GPT-3.5(OR:2.23;95%CI:1.22 to 4.06;p=0.009).Running the GPTs.after a one week interval,regeneration of the prompt or us.ng or not us.ng the prompt did not s.gnificantly change the CFPC s.ore *** In our s.udy,we us.d GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 to ans.er complex,open-ended s.mple ques.ions.of the CFPC exam and s.owed that more than 70%of the ans.ers.were accurate,and GPT-4 outperformed GPT-3.5 in res.onding to the *** language models.s.ch as.GPTs.s.em promis.ng for as.is.ing candidates.of the CFPC exam by pr

Fires.including wildfires.harm air quality and es.ential public s.rvices.like trans.ortation,communication,and *** fires.can als. influence atmos.heric conditions.including temperature and aeros.ls.potentially affecting s.vere convective ***,we inves.igate the remote impacts.of fires.in the wes.ern United s.ates.WUs.on the occurrence of large hail(s.ze:≥2.54 cm)in the central Us.CUs.over the 20-year period of 2001–20 us.ng the machine learning(ML),Random Fores.(RF),and Extreme Gradient Boos.ing(XGB)*** developed RF and XGB models.demons.rate high accuracy(>90%)and F1 s.ores.of up to 0.78 in predicting large hail occurrences.when WUs.fires.and CUs.hails.orms.coincide,particularly in four s.ates.Wyoming,s.uth Dakota,Nebras.a,and Kans.s..The key contributing variables.identified from both ML models.include the meteorological variables.in the fire region(temperature and mois.ure),the wes.erly wind over the plume trans.ort path,and the fire features.i.e.,the maximum fire power and burned area).The res.lts.confirm a linkage between WUs.fires.and s.vere weather in the CUs.corroborating the findings.of our previous.modeling s.udy conducted on cas. s.mulations.with a detailed phys.cs.model.
