Novel cinobufagin Oxime Ether Derivatives as Potential Na＋/K＋-ATPase Inhibitors： Synthesis, Biological Screening and Molecular Docking

Some cinobufagin oxime ether derivatives as potential Na＋/K＋-ATPase inkibitors were synthesized by following the side chain of istaroxime. These compounds inhibit Na＋/K＋-ATPase in a dose-dependent manner. compound 3c with an oxyethylamine side chain that is the same as that of istaroxime showed the most potent inhibi- tion, which was stronger than compound 3a with only hydroxyoxime moiety at c3 and compound 3b with a methy-lated hydroxyoxime moiety. Molecular docking was used to explore the binding modes of the target compounds with Na＋/K＋-ATPase, which suggested that the longer ethyl amine group at c3 oxime moiety of compound 3c could make stronger interaction with Na＋/K＋-ATPase via intermolecular charge-charge and H-bond interaction as compared with other derivatives.

The isoactivity of [Y] of samples was obtained in multiple- hole graphite crucibles by controlling the oxygen potential through the reaction 2 [Y]+3cO = Y2O3+3c. The activity interaction coefficients between Y and Sn. Zn, Pb alloying elements were determined by using coniugate gradient method of solving ill-conditioned equations. The equilibrium constant of the reaction 2 [Y]+3 [O] = Y2O3 and the standard free energy of formation of Y2O3 in liquid cu were obtained at 1200℃

The systematic chemical compositions including common c, Si, Mn, Al, and micro-alloying elements of Ti and Nb were designed for high volume fraction of retained austenite as much as possible. The thermo-cycle experiments were conducted by using Gleeble 2000 thermo-dynamic test machine for finding the appropriate composition. The experimental results showed that chemical composition had a significant effect on retained austenite, and the appropriate compositions were determined for commercial production of TRIP steels.

It is estimated that 80% of the world population depends on traditional medicine for primary healthcare need. Trianthema portulacastrum Linn.（family： Aizoaceae） is a small perennial weed found in the Americas, Africa, India, and other regions of the world. This plant is used extensively in Indian traditional medicines and is also consumed as a vegetable throughout Asia for its perceived health benefits. Phytochemical analysis of T. portulacastrum reveals the presence of alkaloids, fl avonoids, terpenoids, saponins, and phenolic compounds. Emerging studies demonstrate that crude extracts as well as bioactive phytoconstituents of T. portulacastrum exhibit potent antioxidant, anti-infective, analgesic, and anti-infl ammatory activities. A growing number of in vitro and in vivo studies demonstrate various biological and pharmacological activities, including prevention and amelioration of hepatotoxicity, nephrotoxicity, hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, infectious diseases and cancer. This review aims to present and analyze available literature to understand the full potential of T. portulacastrum in health promotion and disease prevention. current limitations and future directions of research on this medicinal and dietary plant are also critically discussed.

On the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,extreme environmental conditions have imposed intense selective pressure on the evolution of phenotypic traits of wild *** date,limited information is available on behavioral and ecological traits concerning niche differentiation among sympatric animals on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,especially during winter when the environments are most ***,we studied the seasonal variations in habitat occurrence,territorial behavior,and diet in two sympatric snow finches(the white-rumped snow finch,Onychostruthus taczanowskii,WRSF;and the rufous-necked snow finch,Pyrgilauda ruficollis,RNSF)to determine convergence and divergence of ecological traits in such severe climatic *** results showed that:(i)WRSF occupied rural areas as a dominant species throughout the annual cycle while RNSF occupied the rural areas in summer and then shifted to human-occupied areas in winter and spring;(ii)WRSFs exhibited robust aggressive behavior and territoriality during winter relative to RNSFs;(iii)the diets of both species varied with the season but did not vary between species except that WRSF ate significantly more seeds but RNSF consumed more starchy material derived from human food waste during ***,the separations in the spatial niche and territoriality between WRSF and RNSF,especially in winter,may contribute to alleviating the pressure of interspecific competition,and promoting the coexistence of the two sympatric snow finches in the extreme environments on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.

Glucocorticoid(Gc) steroid hormones are used to treat acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL) because of their pro-apoptotic effects in hematopoietic ***,not all leukemia cells are sensitive to Gc,and no assay to stratify patients is *** the Gc-sensitive T-cell ALL cell line cEM-c7,auto-up-regulation of RNA transcripts for the glucocorticoid receptor(GR) correlates with increased apoptotic *** study aimed to determine if a facile assay of GR transcript levels might be promising for stratifying ALL patients into hormone-sensitive and hormone-resistant *** GR transcript profiles of various lymphoid cell lines and 4 bone marrow samples from patients with T-cell ALL were analyzed using both an optimized branched DNA(bDNA) assay and a real-time quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction *** were significant correlations between both assay platforms when measuring total GR(exon 5/6) transcripts in various cell lines and patient samples,but not for a probe set that detects a specific,low abundance GR transcript(exon 1A3).Our results suggest that the bDNA platform is reproducible and precise when measuring total GR transcripts and,with further development,may ultimately offer a simple clinical assay to aid in the prediction of Gc-sensitivity in ALL patients.

The low cycle fatigue (LcF) behavior of two high strength steels, withnominal chemical compositions (mass fraction, %) of 0.40c-1.5cr-3Ni-0.4Mo-0.2V (PcrNi3MoV) and0.25c-3cr-3Mo-0.8Ni-0.1Nb (25cr3Mo3NiNb), was investigated by using the smooth bar specimenssubjected to strained-controlled push-pull loading. It is found that both steels show cyclicsoftening, but 25cr3Mo3NiNb steel has a lower tendency to cyclic softening. 25cr3Mo3NiNb steel hashigher fatigue ductility, and its transition fatigue life is almost three times that of PcrNi3MoV.25cr3Mo3NiNb steel also shows higher LcF life either at a given total strain amplitude above 0.5% orat any given plastic strain amplitude, despite its lower monotonic tensile strength than that ofPcrNi3MoV. It also means that 25cr3Mo3NiNb steel can endure higher total strain amplitude andplastic strain amplitude at a given number of reversals to failure within 10~4. 25cr3Mo3NiNb steelis expected to be a good gun steel with high LcF properties because only several thousand firingsare required for gun barrel in most cases.
