Bioa.rosol emissions from a.ima. feeding opera.ion (a.O) fa.ilities a.e of increa.ing interest due to the ma.nitude of the emissions a.d their potentia. hea.th effect on loca. communities. There is limited informa.ion a.out fa.e a.d tra.sport of a.O bioa.rosol emissions. In this study, concentra.ions of a.rborne ba.teria.a.d fungi were mea.ured a. four a.bient sta.ions in four wind directions surrounding a. egg production fa.m through winter, spring a.d summer using a.dersen six-sta.e sa.plers. Mea. concentra.ions of a.bient ba.teria.a.d fungi ra.ged from 8.7 × 102 CFU m-3 to 1.3 × 103 CFU m-3 a.d from 2.8 × 102 CFU m-3 to 1.4 × 103 CFU m-3, respectively. a.bient ba.teria. concentra.ions were not significa.tly different over the sea.ons, while a.bient funga. concentra.ions were the highest in summer a.d the lowest in winter. There were significa.t differences between downwind a.d upwind ba.teria. concentra.ions (p a.teria. a.d funga. concentra.ions responded differently to the influencing fa.tors. Ba.teria. concentra.ions were qua.ra.ica.ly correla.ed with wind vector (combined effects of wind speed a.d direction) a.d emission ra.e, were positively correla.ed with tempera.ure, a.d were nega.ively correla.ed with sola. ra.ia.ion. Funga. concentra.ions were positively correla.ed with tempera.ure, RH, a.d emission ra.e, a.d were nega.ively correla.ed with wind vector.

既有的斯坦福大学露西尔帕卡德儿童医院建成于1990年,因标志性的设计和醒目的中央庭院而深受人们的喜爱。随着时间的推移,如今这座医院的承载容量已经无法满足不断增长的患者规模和当前复杂医疗运营模式的需要。半私密性病房再也无法达到预期的私密程度,也未能充分利用场地周边生机勃勃的自然资源环境,尤其是斯坦福植物园及远处连绵起伏的丘陵山貌。
