In interdigitated back contact(IBC)solar cells,the metal-electrode coverage on a p-type emitter is optimized by a PC2D *** result shows that the variation of the metal coverage ratio(mCR)will affect both the surface passivation and the electrode-contact properties for the p-type emitter in IBC solar *** find that when R_(c) ranges from 0.08 to 0.16Ω·cm^(2),the mCR is optimized with a value of 25%and 33%,resulting in a highest energy-conversion *** dependences of both Voc and fill factor on mCR are simulated in order to explore the mechanism of the IBC solar cells.

Theoretical analysis of the dynamic behavior of cavitating vortices requires knowledge of the velocity distribution in the vortex core. For that reason an existing similarity model for slender axisymmetric non-cavitating vortex cores has been extended with the viscous boundary conditions for a cavitating vortex. Cavitating similarity solutions exist for a vortex of which both core diameter and circulation grow with the square root of the axial coordinate. Results for this model are presented for varying cavitation numbers and Reynolds numbers. It is shown that viscosity may have a significant influence on the velocity distribution around a cavitating vortex.

Introduction:Alzheimer 's disease(AD) is a common neurodegenerative disorder and the primary cause of dementia. Considerable evidence supports the “amyloid hypothesis,” stating that the pathogenesis of AD is primarily caused by the deposition of amyloid-β(Aβ), which drives tau phosphorylation, neuroinflammation, and neurodegeneration in the brain. The amyloid hypothesis is strengthened by the significant and moderate benefit of lecanemab, a humanized antibody through an anti-amyloid mechanism,showing slowed clinical decline(van Dyck et al.,2023). The recent positive results of anti-amyloid trials have brought back focus on the amyloid hypothesis through biochemical, genetic, and pharmacological approaches(Zhang, 2023).

There is a strong evidence supporting the hypothesis of synaptic dysfunction as a major contributor to neural circuit and network disruption underlying emotional and mood dysregulation in psychiatric disorders(Simmons et al.,2024).Diverse sets of distinct molecular signaling pathways converge on the synapse to regulate synaptogenesis,synaptic function,and synaptic plasticity in brain regions and circuits through complex interactions organized by numerous multivalent protein scaffolds,including the family of proteins known as A-kinase anchoring proteins(AKAPs).

Recently application of functionally graded materials（Fgms） have attracted a great deal of interest. These materials are composed of various materials with different micro-structures which can vary spatially in Fgms. Such composites with varying thickness and non-uniform pressure can be used in the aerospace engineering. Therefore, analysis of such composite is of high importance in engineering problems. Thermoelastic analysis of functionally graded cylinder with variable thickness under non-uniform pressure is considered. First order shear deformation theory and total potential energy approach is applied to obtain the governing equations of non-homogeneous cylinder. Considering the inner and outer solutions, perturbation series are applied to solve the governing equations. Outer solution for out of boundaries and more sensitive variable in inner solution at the boundaries are considered. Combining of inner and outer solution for near and far points from boundaries leads to high accurate displacement field distribution. The main aim of this paper is to show the capability of matched asymptotic solution for different non-homogeneous cylinders with different shapes and different non-uniform pressures. The results can be used to design the optimum thickness of the cylinder and also some properties such as high temperature residence by applying non-homogeneous material.

Purpose:The purpose of this study was to determine which intensities,patterns,and types of 24-h movement behaviors are most strongly associated with cardiometabolic risk factors among ***:A total of 369 children aged 1013 years were *** wore an Actical accelerometer and a garmin Forerunner 220 global Positioning System logger and completed an activity and sleep log for 7 *** from these instruments were combined to estimate average minute per day spent in 14 intensities,11 types,and 14 patterns of *** mass index,resting heart rate,and systolic blood pressure values were combined to create a cardiometabolic risk factor *** least squares regression analysis was used to examine associations between the 39 movement behavior characteristics and the cardiometabolic risk factor *** variable importance in projection(VIP)values were used to determine and rank important movement behavior *** was evidence of interaction by biological maturity,and the analyses were conducted separately in the 50%least mature and 50%most mature ***:For the least biologically mature participants,fifteen of the 39 movement behavior characteristics had important VIP value scores;eight of these reflected movement intensities(particularly moderate and vigorous intensities),six reflected movement patterns,and one reflected a movement *** the most mature participants,thirteen of the 39 movement behavior characteristics had important VIP value scores,with five reflecting intensities(particularly moderate and vigorous intensities),five reflecting patterns,and three reflecting types of ***:more than 12 movement behavior characteristics were associated with cardiometabolic risk factors within both the most and least mature *** intensities within the moderate and vigorous intensity ranges were the most consistent correlates of these risk factors.

DISSOLUTION KINETICS OF PHOSPHATE ORE IN ACIDIC SOLUTIONS

The dissolution kinetics of Florida and jordan phosphate ore was studied in diluted nitric acid (0.2, 0.5, 1.0 mol ·L-1), and in phosphoric acid (55 wt% H3PO4) aqueous solutions. It was found that the hydrogen ions concentration is a controlling factor, but the calcium ions concentration can not affect the dissolution rate in the range of 0.0 and 2.0 wt% Ca2+. The effects of temperature, stirring intensity and the size of ore particles were also investigated. The transfer of hydrogen ion depends on the diffusion, while the calcium ions transfer is assumed to be depended on mechanically stripping. The shrinking core model with hydrogen ions diffusion control match the experimental results.

This paper deals with the application of Acousto-ultrasonics,in con- junction with Pattern Recognition and Classification techniques,to the identification of residual impact properties of a class of polymeric material,namely,Polyvinylchlo- ride(PVC).PVC specimens of different low-energy repeated impact damage states are processed by Acousto-ultrasonics(AU)to retrieve AU signals in the form of dig- italized *** AU signals are grouped as distinct classes,each pertaining to a known level of repeated impact *** features of these AU signals are used to build Pattern Recognition(PR)*** classifiers are used to identify unknown damage states in other PVC specimens by classifying the re- trieved AU signals as belonging to one of the *** obtained results indicate that Acousto-ultrasonics in combination with Pattern Recognition and Classification techniques can be used for the quantitative non-destructive identification of damage states in PVC specimens of unknown low-energy repeated impact conditions.

Wall deposition occurs in spray dryers when dried or partially dried particles contact and adhere to the walls during operation, thus reducing the yield of product collected. Wall deposits also present a product contamination risk and a fire or explosion risk when spray drying products that oxidize exothermically, such as milk powder. Re-entrainment is the resuspension of spray dryer wall deposits into the main gas stream for collection as product. Literature suggests that the process for re-entrainment of particles from spray dryer wall deposits is strongly dependent on particle size and gas velocity.
