The applications of the newly developed all-eleatron full potential linearized augmented plane wave （FLAPW） method for bulk in the electronic structure of the cubic Laves phase （C15） compound ZrZn2and ZrV2are presented and the results have been applied to the calculation and discussion of the magnetic and superconducting properties in these materials. The computations are performed in two states: （ⅰ） self-consistent warped muffin-tin and （ⅱ） self-consistent full potential with spinorbit coupling included after either stage. The effects of the inclusion of the non-spherlcal terms inside the muffin-tins on the eigenvalues is small, of order 1 mRy. However, as some of the bands near the EFare flat, this effect could become noticeable in the value of DOs at EF. This paper investigates the free vibration and transient response of interconnected structures including double curved beams and intermediate straight beams,which are all constructed from functionally graded porous(FGP) materials. The strain potential and kinetic energies of each beam along with the work done by the external force are calculated. Additionally, a higher-order beam element is introduced to derive stiffness and mass matrices, along with the force vector. The curved and straight beams are discretized, and their assembled stiffness, mass matrices, and force vectors, are *** conditions at the joints are used to derive the total matrices of the entire structure. subsequently, the natural frequencies and transient response of the system are determined. The accuracy of the mathematical model and the self-developed computer program is validated through the comparison of the obtained results with those of the existing literature and commercial software ANsYs, demonstrating excellent ***, a comprehensive study is conducted to investigate the effects of various parameters on the free vibration and transient response of the considered structure.

This paper explores the role of the secondary inorganic aerosol （sIA） species ammonium,NH4＋,nitrate,NO3-,and sulfate,sO24-,during haze and fog events using hourly mass concentrations of PM2.5 measured at a suburban site in Hangzhou,China.A total of 546 samples were collected between 1 April and 8 May *** samples were analyzed and classified as clear,haze or fog depending on visibility and relative humidity （RH）.The contribution of sIA species to PM2.5 mass increased to ～50％ during haze and *** mass contribution of nitrate to PM2.5 increased from 11％ during clear to 20％ during haze *** mass exceeded sulfate mass during haze,while near equal concentrations were observed during fog *** role of RH on the correlation between concentrations of sIA and visibility was examined,with optimal correlation at 60％-70％ *** total acidity during clear,haze and fog periods was 42.38,48.38 and 45.51 nmol m-3,respectively,indicating that sulfate,nitrate and chloride were not neutralized by ammonium during any *** nitrate to sulfate molar ratio,as a function of the ammonium to sulfate molar ratio,indicated that nitrate formation during fog started at a higher ammonium to sulfate molar ratio compared to clear and haze *** haze and fog,the nitrate oxidation ratio increased by a factor of 1.6-1.7,while the sulfur oxidation ratio increased by a factor of 1.2-1.5,indicating that both gaseous NO2 and sO2 were involved in the reduced visibility.

silk fibroin(sF)can be used to construct various stiff material interfaces to support bone *** essential preparatory step is to partially transform sF molecules from random coils toβ-sheets to render the material water ***,the influence of the sF conformation on osteogenic cell behavior at the material interface remains ***,three stiff sF substrates were prepared by varying theβ-sheet content(high,medium,and low).The substrates had a comparable chemical composition,surface topography,and *** adsorbed fibronectin was used as a model cellular adhesive protein,the stability of the adsorbed protein-material interface,in terms of the surface stability of the sF substrates and the accompanying fibronectin detachment resistance,increased with the increasingβ-sheet content of the sF ***,(i)larger areas of cytoskeleton-associated focal adhesions,(ii)higher orders of cytoskeletal organization and(iii)more elongated cell spreading were observed for bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stromal cells(BMsCs)cultured on sF substrates with high ***β-sheet contents,along with enhanced nuclear translocation and activation of YAP/TAZ and ***,osteogenic differentiation of BMsCs was stimulated on highβ-sheet *** results indicated that theβ-sheet content influences osteogenic differentiation of BMsCs on sF materials in vitro by modulating the stability of the adsorbed protein-material interface,which proceeds via protein-focal adhesion-cytoskeleton links and subsequent intracellular *** findings emphasize the role of the stability of the adsorbed protein-material interface in cellular mechanotransduction and the perception of stiff sF substrates with differentβ-sheet contents,which should not be overlooked when engineering stiff biomaterials.

The benefits of regular physical activity are well ***,few studies have examined the effectiveness of integrating physical activity(PA)into curricula within a post-secondary *** investigate the incorporation of PA into medical curriculum,we developed a series of optional exercise-based review sessions designed to reinforce musculoskeletal(MsK)anatomy course *** synchronous sessions were co-taught by a group fitness instructor and an anatomy *** fitness instructor would lead students through both strength and yoga style exercises,while the anatomy instructor asked questions about relevant anatomical structures related to course material previously *** the sessions,participants were asked to evaluate the classes on their self-reported exam preparedness in improving MsK anatomy knowledge,PA levels,and mental *** participants completed surveys;a majority agreed that the classes increased understanding of MsK concepts(90.0%)and activity levels(97.7%).Many(70.0%)felt that the classes helped reduce *** majority of respondents(90.0%)agreed that the classes contributed to increased feelings of social ***,medical students saw benefit in PA based interventions to supplement MsK course *** with increasing activity levels and promoting health behaviours,integrating PA into medical curriculum may improve comprehension of learning material,alleviate stress and foster social connectivity among medical students.
