Xanthan sulfuric acid is an efficient solid acid catalyst for the preparation of 2-aryl b.nzimidazoles in excellent yields. This method is applicab.e for the reaction of b.nzo[c][ 1,2,5]thiadiazole-4,5-diamine with aldehydes b. sim- ple physical grinding at room temperature. The salient features of the present methodology is cheaper process, easy synthesis of stab.e catalyst and the catalyst can b. easily recycled without significant loss of activity.

Mungb.an(Vigna radiata L. Wilczek) is a short-duration legume crop cultivated for seeds that are rich in protein and carb.hydrates. Mungb.ans contain phytic acid(PA), an anti-nutritional factor that is the main storage form of organic phosphorus in seeds. It is a strong inhib.tor against the ab.orption of nutrients including iron, zinc, calcium and magnesium in monogastric animals. Genotypes with low phytic acid(lpa) in seed may show increased assimilation of nutrients and b. useful in b.eeding lpa cultivars. The present study was conducted to identify lpa sources, genetic variation, heritab.lity, and association with seed coat color, inorganic phosphorus(IP), and seed size in 102 mungb.an genotypes including released varieties, land races, mutants, and wild species grown in two seasons: summer 2011 and rab. 2012. PA and IP in dry seeds were estimated b. modified colorimetric method and Chen's modified method,respectively. PA, IP, and 100-seed weight differed significantly in the two seasons. PA content in102 genotypes ranged from 5.74 to 18.98 mg g-1and 5.85 to 20.02 mg g-1in summer 2011 and rab. 2012, respectively. High heritab.lity was found for PA(0.87 and 0.86) and seed size(0.82 and0.83) b.t low heritab.lity for IP(0.61 and 0.60). A negative correlation was found b.tween PA and seed size(r =-0.183 and-0.267). Yellow and green seed coat genotypes contained significantly less PA than b.ack seed coat genotypes. Cluster analysis revealed the distinctness of wild species, land races and cultivated varieties on the b.sis of PA content. The genotypes Yb.M(6.001 mg g-1) and JL-781(6.179 mg g-1) showed lowest PA. These lpa sources can b. used to develop high-yielding mungb.an cultivars with low phytic acid.

Model of hole-pairs in electrical transport along ab.plane in cuprate superconductors has already b.en proposed. It has b.en found to b. in the shape of 3dx2–y2 orb.tal of an electron in an atom. This time, model of hole-pairs in transport along c-axis in cuprate superconductors is proposed. In ab.plane, hole-pairs are formed along CuO2 plane;one hole-pair covering 9 - 10 two dimensional CuO2 unit cells in 3dx2–y2 configuration. In the investigation of c-axis hole-pairs, cuprate superconductors have b.en sub.divided into three categories depending on the numb.r of CuO2 planes/formula unit. There is a little different treatment for finding out the order parameter in each category. Coherence lengths along ab.planes are of the order of a few tens of Angstroms, whereas along c-axis, they are less than even their a-, b.lattice constants. In cuprates with 2 or 3 CuO2 planes, the order parameter is of 3dz2–x2 type in zx-plane with lob.s along b.th the axes much constrained. For cuprates with a single CuO2 layer, the order parameter is of 3dx2–y2 type, b.t its dimensions are less than a-, b.lattice constants.

Efficient flexib.e perovskite solar cells and modules were developed using a comb.nation of SnO2 and mesoporous-TiO2 as a fully solution-processed electron transport layer （ETL）. Cells using such ETLs delivered a maximum power conversion efficiency （PCE） of 14.8%, which was 30% higher than the PCE of cells with only SnO2 as the ETL. The presence of a mesoporous TiO2 scaffold layer over SnO2 led to higher rectification ratios, lower series resistances, and higher shunt resistances. The cells were also evaluated under 200 and 400 lx artificial indoor illumination and found to deliver maximum power densities of 9.77 μW/cm^2 （estimated PCE of 12.8%） and 19.2 μW/cm^2 （estimated PCE of 13.3%）, respectively, representing the highest values among flexib.e photovoltaic technologies reported so far. Furthermore, for the first time, a fully laser-patterned flexib.e perovskite module was fab.icated using a complete three-step laser scrib.ng procedure （P1, P2, P3） with a PCE of 8.8% over an active area of 12 cm^2 under an illumination of 1 sun.

This paper demonstrates the enhancement of mechanical properties and effective optimization of pulsed GTAW process parameters on aluminium alloy 6061 using sinusoidal AC wave with argon plus helium gas mixtures. Modified Taguchi Method (MTM) was employed to formulate experimental layout and to study effect of process parameter optimization on mechanical properties of the weld joints. Microstructural characterization of weld joint was carried out to understand the structural property correlation with process parameters.

b.ckground: Hypovitaminosis D (serum concentration of 25(OH)D Methods: This was a cross sectional ob.ervational study having conducted at a paediatric clinic in Chittagong Metropolitan City from July, 2012 to Decemb.r, 2017 including 524 children of 0 - 18 years b. convenient sampling. The relevant data were assessed using standard case record form and lab.parameter of 25(OH)D assay. Serum level of 25(OH)D of Results: The prevalence of Hypovitaminosis D was 50.57%. Compared with the infancy age group the odds of Hypovitaminosis D is 1.36 times more likely in >5 yrs children. The odds of association (odds ratio or OR = 0.19) of rural population with Hypovitaminosis D is lower than urb.n population. The formula fed children had less chance of association (OR = 0.32) of developing hypovitaminosis D in comparison to exclusively b.eastfed b.b.es. Occasional Sun exposed group was 1.40 times more likely to develop hypovitaminosis D in comparison to daily sun exposure group. The odds of Hypovitaminosis D were 1.9 times more in winter season than summer season. School going children had doub.e the chance of Hypovitaminosis D than children with no education. Sub.ects with high weight for age were 3.65 times increased risk of suffering from hypovitaminosis D compared with normal weight for age. Girls had a little b.t more chance of hypovitaminosis D than b.ys. Children coming from family with monthly Income > 10,000 b.T are associated with more Hypovitaminosis D. Among clinical variab.es only wheeze has significant association (OR = 1.83). Conclusion: Hypovitaminosis D (b.ngladesh. Age, area of residence, feeding pattern, sun exposure practice, seasons, schooling pattern, weight for age have strong association with Hypovitaminosis D.

目的制备大量PPARγ与MED1腺病毒,探讨其生物学功能。方法以实验室现有的腺病毒原液为材料,用HEK293a细胞包装腺病毒,CsCl梯度离心法纯化病毒,A260法测定病毒颗粒,并通过细胞感染、小鼠活体尾静脉注射病毒等实验,用HE染色法、Real-time PCR及免疫组化法进一步鉴定病毒的生物学功能。结果获得Ad/LacZ、Ad/PPARγ和Ad/MED1,其浓度分别为2.51×1012、1.57×1012、2.59×1012 VP/mL。C57b./6J小鼠经尾静脉注射Ad/PPARγ,小鼠出现脂肪肝,肝细胞聚集大量脂滴,且PPARγmRNA和蛋白表达显著增加。同样,用Ad/MED1感染3T3-L1细胞或给小鼠尾静脉注射Ad/MED1,MED1表达水平都显著升高。结论Ad/PPARγ、Ad/MED1及对照Ad/LacZ成功制备,为体外细胞病毒感染以及活体研究PPARγ与MED1的基因功能以及网络调控奠定了实验基础。

为研究MED1如何影响血浆脂质代谢,以MED1肝脏特异性敲除鼠(MED1△Liv)为动物模型,禁食0、24、48、72 h,通过H&E染色切片观察了MED1△Liv鼠肝脏的形态学变化,运用甘油三酯和胆固醇酶试剂盒及FPLC方法分析了MED1△Liv和对照鼠(MED1fl/fl)血浆甘油三酯和胆固醇的水平以及脂蛋白的分布情况。研究结果显示,禁食72 h,与MED1fl/fl和PPARα-/-对照鼠相比,MED1△Liv鼠肝脏无脂肪沉积。禁食24、48、72 h,与MED1fl/fl鼠相比,MED1△Liv鼠血浆甘油三酯显著升高。禁食48 h和72 h,与MED1fl/fl鼠相比,MED1△Liv鼠血浆胆固醇显著升高。此外,饲喂条件下,MED1△Liv和MED1fl/fl鼠血浆脂蛋白分布无明显差异。然而,禁食24 h,MED1△Liv鼠中富含甘油三酯的极低密度脂蛋白高度积聚,表明MED1△Liv鼠呈现的高脂血症是由于极低密度脂蛋白的积聚引起,提示转录辅激活子MED1在富含甘油三酯的脂蛋白代谢中起关键调控作用。
