A novel anionic trinuclear linear copper（II） complex {[Et3NH][Cul.5（CH3COO）- （TTA）3] } 2 （1, TTA = 2-thenoyltrifluoroacetonate） has been synthesized in a direct reaction involving copper（]l） acetate monohydrate, TTA and excess triethylamine base in dichloromethane solvent. Green colored X-ray quality crystals of 1 were grown from n-hexane solvent at room temperature. The data were collected at 100 K. Compound I crystallizes in the monoclinic P21/n space group （a = 11.2141（8）, b = 19.0965（13）, c = 17.3680（14） A, β = 90.225（2）°, V= 3719.3（5） A3, Mr = 1840.14, Dc = 1.643 Mg/m3, F（000） = 1866, μ = 1.129 mm^-1 and Z = 2）. The asymmetric unit of 1 contains two copper atoms, one of which lies on a crystallographic inversion center with 50% occupancy.

Layered double hydroxide（LDH） comprising of Co^2＋ and La^3＋-ions with acetate counter anion was successfully synthesized by hydrogen peroxide catalyzed hydrolysis reaction and characterized extensively. The observed reflections in the powder X-ray diffraction pattern could be indexed in P3 space group with a=0.316 nm and c=2.97 nm. Lattice fringes of distances corresponding to the peaks observed in X-ray diffraction pattern were observed in high resolution transmission electron microscopic images. UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy results confirmed the presence of Co（OH）6 along with the presence of charge-transfer band due to the interlayer carboxylate anion. Magnetization measurements at room temperature indicated high spin configuration of Co^2＋-ion in the sample exhibiting paramagnetic behavior. The mixed metal oxide from calcination was used to reconstruct the parent layered structure. Intercalation experiments with other organic anions in Co-La LDH proved be successful.

It is common for robotic fish to generate thrust using reactive force generated by the tail’s physical motion, which interacts with the surrounding fluid. The coupling effect of the body strongly correlates with this thrust. However, hydrodynamics cannot be wholly modeled in analytical form. Therefore, data-assisted modeling is necessary for robotic fish. This work presents the first method of its kind using Genetic Algorithm (GA)-based optimization methods for data-assistive modeling for robotic fish applications. To begin, experimental data are collected in real time with the robotic fish that has been designed and fabricated using 3D printing. Then, the model’s influential parameters are estimated using an optimization problem. Further, a model-based deep reinforcement learning (DRL) controller is proposed to track the desired speed through extensive simulation work. In addition to a deep deterministic policy gradient (DDPG), a twin delayed DDPG (TD3) is employed in the training of the RL agent. Unfortunately, due to its local optimization problem, the RL-DDPG controller failed to perform well during training. In contrast, the RL-TD3 controller effectively learns the control policies and overcomes the local optima problem. As a final step, controller performance is evaluated under different disturbance conditions. In contrast to DDPG and GA-tuned proportional-integral controllers, the proposed model with RL-TD3 controller significantly improves the performance.

Petrography, carbon and oxygen isotopic study was carried out to interpret isotopic variations on the predominant carbonate sequence of the Dalmiapuram Formation of the Cauvery Basin, south India. The common petrographic types identified in the Dalmiapuram Formation range from wackestone to boundstone. The gray shale and limestone members show large variations in d13 C and d18 O values(Gray shale member: +1.44 to +2.40 %VPDB,-3.05 to-5.92 % VPDB, respectively; Limestone member:-6.07 to +2.93 % VPDB;-7.08 to-0.39 %VPDB; respectively). In the present study, the carbon and oxygen values are not correlated, which supports the fact that these limestones retain their primary isotopic signatures. In carbon isotope curve, one negative shift is identified in the gray shale member and a positive isotopic excursion is detected in the coral algal limestone(CAL).The observed positive isotopic excursion in the lower part of the CAL correlates with OAE1 d and suggests the global nature of the late Albian OAE1 d in the Cauvery Basin.

The structural, electronic and adsorption properties of NH3on pristine, sn and F substituted TeO2nanostructures were investigated using density functional theory with B3LYP/Lan L2 DZ basis set. The electronic properties of pristine, sn and F incorporated TeO2nanostructures were explained with ionization potential, HOMO–LUMO gap and electron af fi nity. The dipole moment and point group of rutile TeO2nanostructures were also reported. The structural stability of pristine, sn and F substituted TeO2nanostructures were investigated in terms of formation energy. The adsorption properties of NH3 on TeO2were studied and the proper adsorption sites of NH3on TeO2materials were identi fi ed and discussed with the suitable parameters such as adsorption energy, HOMO–LUMO gap, Mulliken population analysis and average energy gap variation. The results show that the substitution of fl uorine in TeO2nanostructure enhances NH3 adsorption properties in mixed gas environment.

Objective:To explore the therapeutic efficacy of L-carvone from Mentha spicata *** extracts against isoproterenol-induced cardiac hypertrophy in ***:Isoproterenol(5 mg/kg)was injected intraperitoneally into rats for one month to induce cardiac hypertrophy.L-carvone(25 and 100 mg/kg)was administered orally to treat cardiac *** cardioprotective activity of L-carvone was evaluated by electrocardiogram,histopathological analysis as well as determination of biochemical parameters and enzymatic ***:L-carvone from Mentha spicata *** 25 and 100 mg/kg ameliorated isoproterenol-induced cardiac hypertrophy,as evidenced by reduced QRs interval on electrocardiogram,and decreased heart weight and heart *** addition,both doses of L-carvone markedly lowered the levels of glucose,total protein,low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,aspartate transaminase,alanine transaminase,lactate dehydrogenase,creatine kinase MB,troponin-Ⅰ,N-terminal pro-B type natriuretic peptide and triglycerides while increasing high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and lipase level(Psis,and reorganized the myofibrils with normal striations and myocytes as well as normal nuclei in cardiac histoarchitecture of rats with isoproterenol-induced cardiac ***:L-carvone from Mentha spicata *** extract can restore abnormal cardiac function and may be further explored as a therapeutic agent against the deleterious effects of cardiac hypertrophy after further evaluation.

Factors Influencing the Direct Electrochemical Reduction of Nb_2O_5 Pellets to Nb Metal in Molten Chloride salts

Powder compacted and sintered Nb205 pellets were cathodically polarised against graphite anode in calcium chloride melt at 1173 K to study the influence of various factors on the electrochemical reduction of the oxide. The parameters were; duration and temperature of electrolysis, open porosity of pellets, nature of anode, mode of electrolysis and configuration of the oxide cathode. The experiments were also conducted in KC1, KC1-25 tool% CaC12 and NaC1 melts to understand the effect of melt composition on the electroreduction. Different Ca-Nb-O and Nb-O intermediates were found in the pellets electrolysed for different durations of time in CaC12 melt which eventually reduced to Nb. The current efficiency of the process decreased with increasing duration of electrolysis. Decrease in electrolysis temperature from 1 173 to 1073 K led to the decrease in the rate of reduction of the oxide pellets. Pellets with high open porosity reduced faster. Carbon contamination of the melt was relatively less when pyrolytic graphite was used as anode. Of all the melts studied, the reduction was found to be better in calcium chloride melt, that too when alumina crucible was used as container of the melt.

A comprehensive review on bio-inspired fish robots has been done in this article with an enhanced focus on swimming styles,actuators,hydrodynamics,kinematic-dynamic modeling,and *** styles such as body and/or caudal fin and median and/or paired fin and their variants are discussed in *** shows that most fish robots adapt carangiform in body and/or caudal fin type swimming as it gives significant thrust with a maximum speed of 3.7 ms 1 in *** of smart or soft actuators to enhance real-time dynamics was studied from literature,and it was found that the robot built with polymer fiber composite material could reach a speed of 0.6 m s However,dynamic modeling is relatively complex,and material selection needs to be *** numerical and analytical methods in dynamic modeling have been investigated highlighting merits and *** parameter estimation through the data-driven model is widely used in offline,however online estimation of the same need to be *** controllers are frequently used tor navigation and stabilization,which often encounters the linearization problem and hence,can be replaced with the state-of-the-art adaptive and intelligent *** article also summarizes the potential research gaps and future scopes.

Poly caprolactone(PCL)and Poly caprolactone/TiO_(2)(PCL/TiO_(2))composite nanofiber with different weight percentage compositions(2 wt%,4 wt%and 6 wt%)of TiO_(2)were prepared and coated over AM50 alloy using electrospinning *** surface morphology and elemental composition result confirms that the PCL/TiO_(2)composite nanofiber fiber were successfully electrospun on the surface of AM50 *** degradation behavior of PCL and PCL/6 wt%TiO_(2)coated AM50 alloy was studied by immersing in simulated Body Fluid(sBF)*** electrochemical and cell proliferation studies reveals that the cellular behavior of PCL and PCL/6 wt%TiO_(2)composite nanofiber exhibited good support for cell proliferation with enhanced corrosion resistance of AM50 alloy in sBF solution.
