Poultry meat production steadily increases and its by-products including legs or skins may be further utilized to prepare gelatine,generally by using alkali or acid *** they are toxic,different methods are desirable,*** proteolytic *** enzymes is beneficial as they shorten processing time and reduce the required water *** conditions(the enzyme amount during the pre-treatment,first and second extraction temperature and time)of the process may influence gelatine quality and its *** this study,gelatines were prepared from chicken skin at different conditions in the series of combined factorial design of *** significance of the influence of the conditions on the quality(gel strength,viscosity,melting and gelling point)and yield of chicken skin gelatine(CSG)was *** highest yield(31.5%)was obtained at the conditions of the enzyme amount of 0.8%,first extraction temperature 80℃ and time 30 min,second extraction temperature 90℃ and time 60 ***,the highest CSG quality of gel strength(190 Bloom),viscosity(4.06 mPas),melting point(38.3℃)and gelling point(20.5℃)was obtained at the conditions of 0.2%/50℃/30 min in the first extraction.

混匀矿中返矿的比率约为25%～50%。如此大比例的返矿会对烧结过程和烧结矿质量产生很大影响。研究旨在揭示返矿量和焦粉量变化的影响。研究采用了因子设计方法,研究表明返矿的产生主要取决于烧结混合料中的固体燃料和返矿比例,增加混合料中的返矿配入量会减少烧结过程中的返矿发生量。烧结过程效率随着混合料中返矿比例的增加而提高(最适宜的混合碱度为1.6)。研究表明,要确保返矿平衡率在90%～110%的范围内,混合料中返矿配比最高不能超过35%,最小不能<25%。

This paper investigates the influence of addition of Ca in a Y-zn-containing magnesium alloy on the dynamic and static recrystallization behaviors and reveals the formation mechanism of the quadrupole texture during thermomechanical processing. Direct extrusion of flat bands has been conducted at various process conditions to study the difference between the two alloys Wz10 and WzX100 in terms of microstructure and texture development. It can be shown that, Ca addition promotes the DRX of Wz10 alloy. During additional heat treatment,the absence of Y segregation at the grain boundaries and the associated lack of solute drag to the boundary mobility leads to a pronounced grain growth during SRX in WzX100 alloy. Furthermore, it is shown that the addition of Ca to Y-zn is not beneficial in terms of *** is demonstrated that alloying elements can have different effects depending on the recrystallization mechanisms. Partially recrystallized microstructure is a prerequisite at the as-extruded status to form the quadrupole texture and during subsequent annealing, which stands for high formability.

Approximate and Exact GR-Solutions for the Two-Body Problem

A binary gravitational rotator, also called the two-body problem, is a pair of masses m1, m2 moving around their center-of-mass (com) in their own gravitational field. In Newtonian gravitation, the two-body problem can be described by a single reduced mass (gravitational rotator) mr = m1m2/(m1+m2) orbiting around the total mass m = m1+m2 situated in com in the distance r, which is the distance between the two original masses. In this paper, we discuss the rotator in Newtonian, Schwarzschild and Kerr spacetime context. We formulate the corresponding Kerr orbit equations, and adapt the Kerr rotational parameter to the Newtonian correction of the rotator potential. We present a vacuum solution of Einstein equations (Manko-Ruiz), which is a generalized Kerr spacetime with five parameters gμν (m1, m2, R, a1, a2), and adapt it to the Newtonian correction for observer orbits. We show that the Manko-Ruiz metric is the exact solution of the GR-two-body problem (i.e. GR-rotator) and express the orbit energy and angular momentum in terms of the 5 parameters. We calculate and discuss Manko-Ruiz rotator orbits in their own field, and present numerical results for two examples. Finally, we carry out numerical calculations of observer orbits in the rotator field for all involved models and compare them.

Short Report: A Sponge Phantom Provides a Homogeneous k-Space Pattern at mrI

Background: The spectral coverage of magnetic resonance (mr) sequences can be well assessed in k-space. However, many objects do not provide high signal intensities in the peripheral k-space. Purpose: To experimentally find a phantom that provides a homogeneous spectral pattern also at the high spatial frequencies of the k-space periphery. Material and Methods: Different phantoms were imaged on a 1.5 Tesla magnet, and the resulting mr images were viewed in k-space after fast Fourier transform. Results: Firstly, phantoms with a homogeneous physical structure were studied with a T2-weighted mr sequence, but they provided an inhomogeneous k-space pattern with dominant central low-frequency components. Secondly, phantoms with an inhomogeneous physical structure were studied. In this group, a water-soaked sponge showed a relatively homogeneous k-space pattern also at high spatial frequencies, owing to the fine porous structure. This sponge phantom can also be soaked with Gadolinium chelates for T1-weighted mr imaging. Conclusion: A simple sponge phantom provides a homogeneous k-space pattern, owing to its fine porous structure. This could be utilized in mr sequence development and for viewing the spectral coverage of mr sequences in k-space.

In recent years, diamond-like carbon films （DLC） have been given more attention in research in the biomedical industry due to their potential application as surface coating on biomedical materials such as metals and polymer substrates. There are many ways to prepare metal containing DLC films deposited on polymeric film substrates, such as coatings from car- bonaceous precursors and some means that incorporate other elements. In this study, we in- vestigated both the surface and biocompatible properties of titanium containing DLC （Ti-DLC） films. The Ti-DLC films were prepared on the surface of poly （ethylene terephthalate）（PET） film as a function of the deposition power level using reactive sputtering technique. The films＇ hydrophilicity was studied by contact angle and surface energy tests. Their surface morphology was studied by scanning electron microscopy （SEM） and atomic force microscopy （AFM）. Their elemental chemical composition was analyzed using energy dispersive X-spectra （EDX） and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）. Their blood and cell compatibility was studied by in vitro tests, including tests on platelet adhesion, thrombus formation, whole blood clotting time and osteoblast cell compatibility. Significant changes in the morphological and chemical composition of the Ti-DLC films were observed and found to be a function of the deposition level. These morphological and chemical changes reduced the interfacial tension between Ti-DLC and blood proteins as well as resisted the adhesion and activation of platelets on the surface of the Ti-DLC films. The cell compatibility results exhibited significant growth of osteoblast cells on the surface of Ti incorporated DLC film compared with that of DLC film surface.
