mining machineries are generally exposed to intensive vibrations in harsh mining environment. If vibrations are beyond the tolerable limit, the machine and its operator health will be under the risk. In this work, the vibration of a mining truck at different operational conditions are simulated and discussed. To achieve this aim, three haul roads with low, medium and poor qualities are considered based on the ISO standard. Accordingly, the vibration of a mining truck in different speeds, payload and distribution qualities of materials in the dump body are evaluated in each haul road quality using Trucksim software. The simulation results with statistical discussions indicate that the truck speed and the materials distribution quality have significant effects on the root mean square(RmS) of vertical vibrations. However, the effect of the payload is not considerable on the RmS. moreover, the accumulation of materials on the rear side of the truck dump body is efficient on the vibrational health risk.

Introduction:Alzheimer 's disease(AD) is a common neurodegenerative disorder and the primary cause of dementia. Considerable evidence supports the “amyloid hypothesis,” stating that the pathogenesis of AD is primarily caused by the deposition of amyloid-β(Aβ), which drives tau phosphorylation, neuroinflammation, and neurodegeneration in the brain. The amyloid hypothesis is strengthened by the significant and moderate benefit of lecanemab, a humanized antibody through an anti-amyloid mechanism,showing slowed clinical decline(van Dyck et al.,2023). The recent positive results of anti-amyloid trials have brought back focus on the amyloid hypothesis through biochemical, genetic, and pharmacological approaches(Zhang, 2023).

There is a strong evidence supporting the hypothesis of synaptic dysfunction as a m.jor contributor to neural circuit and network disruption underlying emotional and mood dysregulation in psychiatric disorders(Simmons et al.,2024).Diverse sets of distinct molecular signaling pathways converge on the synapse to regulate synaptogenesis,synaptic function,and synaptic plasticity in brain regions and circuits through complex interactions organized by numerous multivalent protein scaffolds,including the family of proteins known as A-kinase anchoring proteins(AKAPs).

Phylogenetic studies have shown the need for a revised circumscription of generic boundaries in the jelly lichens(Collemataceae).Using a four-marker dataset from a recently published phylogeny of Collemataceae,we tested the monophyly of ten morphologically well-characterized *** achieve this,we performed Bayesian and maximum likelihood *** monophyly of the ten morphological groups was *** order to reconcile molecular and morphological data into a formal classification,we here propose new generic delimitations in *** and Leptogium are re-circumscribed and six old generic names are resurrected to accommodate the Collema Crispum-group(Blennothallia),the Collema Tenax-group(Enchylium),the Collema Cristatum-group(Lathagrium),the Collema Occultatum-group(Rostania),the former small Leptogium species(Scytinium),and Leptogium diffractum(Pseudoleptogium).In addition,two new genera are described to accommodate Collema multipartitum(Callome)and the Collema Italicum-group(Paracollema).The presence/absence of a eucortex,which was earlier used as the cardinal character to define genera in the family,is still useful,but only in combination with other traits such as thallus habit(size),lobe size,ascospore characteristics,thallus anatomical structure,and habitat preference.A key to the genera is *** are designated for Collema marginale Hoffm.,Synechoblastus nigrescens(Huds.)Trevis.,Eucollema(Cromb.)Horw.,Collema section Enchylium Ach.,Collema section Lathagrium Ach.,Collema *** Ach.,Collema section Scytinium Ach.,Collemodium *** Lamy,and Homodium *** Olivier.

microbridge testing is used to measure the Young's modulus and residual stresses of metallic *** film microbridges with widths of several hundred microns are fabricated by microelectromechanical *** order to measure the mechanical properties of nickel film microbridges,special shaft structure is designed to solve the problem of getting the load--deflection curves of metal film microbridge by Nanoin--denter XP system with normal Berkovich *** analysis of the micro--bridge load--deflection curve is proposed to evaluate the Young's modulus and residual stress of the films *** calculated results based on the experimental measurements show that the average Young's modulus and residual stress are around 190GPa and 175mPa respectively,while the Young's modulus measured by Nano-hardness method on nickel film with silicon substrate is 186.8±7.34GPa.

Extensive research in the area of optical sensing for medical diagnostics requires development of tissue phantoms with opt ical properties similar to those of living human *** and improvement of in vivo optical measurement systems requires the 1use of stable tissue phantoms with known characteristics,which are mainly used for calibration of such systems and testing their performance over *** and mechanical properties of phantoms depend on their ***,they must accurately simulate specific tssues they are supposed to *** tsues and organs including head possess a multi-layered structure,with specifie optical properties of each ***,such a structure is not always addressed in the present-day *** this paper,we focus on the development of a plain-parallel multi-layered phantom with optical properties(reduced scattering oofficientμ'and absorption cofficientμa)corresponding to the human head layers,such as skin,skul,and gray and white matter of the brain *** phantom is intended for use in noninvasive diffuse near-infrared spectroscopy(NIRS)of humnan *** parameters of the fabricated phantoms are reconstructed using spectrophotometry and inverse adding-doubling calculation *** results show that polyinyl chloride plastisol(PVCP)and zinc oxide(ZnO)nanoparticles are suitable materials for fabrication of tissue mimicking phantoms with controlled scattering *** matching was found between optical properties of phantoms and the corresponding values found in the literature.

Arctic sea-ice extent reaches its minimum each year in September. On 11 September 2023 the minimum was 4.969 million square kilometers(***^(2)). This was not a record low, which occurred in 2012, when the minimum was 4.175 ***^(2), 0.794 ***^(2) less than the minimum in 2023. However, the ice extent had decreased by 0.432 ***^(2) compared with 2022. Nevertheless, the summer melting in 2023 was remarkably less than expected when considering the strong heat waves in the atmosphere and ocean, with record temperatures set around the world. In general, there is a high correlation between the long-term decrease in sea-ice extent and the increasing CO_(2) in the atmosphere, where the increase of CO_(2) in recent decades explains about 80% of the decrease in sea ice in September, while the remainder is caused by natural variability.

moderate to severe perinatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy occurs in~1 to 3/1000 live births in high-income countries and is associated with a significant risk of death or neurodevelopmental *** assessment is important to help identify highrisk infants,to help families,and to support appropriate interventions.A wide range of monitoring tools is available to assess changes over time,including urine and blood biomarkers,neurological examination,and *** present,magnetic resonance imaging is unique as although it is expensive and not suited to monitoring the early evolution of hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy by a week of life it can provide direct insight into the anatomical changes in the brain after hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy and so offers strong prognostic information on the long-term outcome after hypoxic-ischemic *** review investigated the temporal dynamics of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy injuries,with a particular emphasis on exploring the correlation between the prognostic implications of magnetic resonance imaging scans in the first week of life and their relationship to long-term outcome prediction,particularly for infants treated with therapeutic hypothermia.A comprehensive literature search,from 2016 to 2024,identified 20 pertinent *** review highlights that while the optimal timing of magnetic resonance imaging scans is not clear,overall,it suggests that magnetic resonance imaging within the first week of life provides strong prognostic *** challenges limit the timing consistency,particularly the need for intensive care and clinical ***,although most reports examined the prognostic value of scans taken between 4 and 10 days after birth,there is evidence from small numbers of cases that,at times,brain injury may continue to evolve for weeks after *** suggests that in the future it will be important to explore a wider range of times after hypo
