肝脏纤毛性前肠囊肿

A male infant was found to have a large congenital hepatic cyst,first noted in late gestation by prenatal ultrasound scan. The cyst communicated with the biliary tree and was eventually removed completely by an extended right hepatectomy. Histopathologic examination showed a thick-walled, unilocular cyst lined predominantly by ciliated, stratified squamous epithelium with an outer wall composed of smooth muscle cells and fibrous *** features are diagnostic of a ciliated hepatic foregut cyst,a rare congenital malformation with histologic similarities to bronchogenic cysts. The young age of our patient, prenatal detection, large size of the cyst, and a clear communication with the biliary tree have not been previously described with ciliated hepatic foregut cysts.

Objective: To report the case of a female who presented in childhood with symptoms and signs of hyperandrogenism secondary to an extraovarian steroid cell tumor. design: Case report. Setting: Endocrine investigation unit of a university teaching hospital. Patient(s): An 11-year-old female presented with symptoms and signs of hyperandrogenism. Intervention(s): Ultrasonography, MRI imaging, bilateral adrenal and ovarian venous sampling, laparoscopy, and laparotomy. Main Outcome Measure(s): Ultrasonography, laboratory tests. Result(s): Hyperandrogenism was due to an extraovarian steroid cell tumor located in the broad ligament. The tumor was successfully removed at laparotomy with biochemical and clinical resolution of the hyperandrogenism. Conclusion(s): Extraovarian steroid cell tumor is a rare cause of hyperandrogenism.

The prognostic values of tissue doppler imaging and color M-mode diastolic indexes were studied in 225 patients who had symptomatic systolic heart failure in the AdEPT study. The primary end point of death, transplantation, or hospitalization due to heart failure occurred in 65 patients and was independently predicted by shorter deceleration time, lower ratio of pulmonary vein systolic to diastolic velocity, and increasing levels of the ratios of early transmitral velocity to early annular velocity or velocity of propagation. For the ratio of early transmitral velocity to early annular velocity, this prediction was additive to deceleration time. Newer diastolic indexes provide an independent prediction of clinical outcomes.

The Circular Electron Positron Collider(CEPC)is a large scientific project initiated and hosted by China,fostered through extensive collaboration with international *** complex comprises four accelerators:a 30 GeV Linac,a 1.1 GeV damping Ring,a Booster capable of achieving energies up to 180 GeV,and a Collider operating at varying energy modes(Z,W,H,and tt).The Linac and damping Ring are situated on the surface,while the subterranean Booster and Collider are housed in a 100 km circumference underground tunnel,strategically accommodating future expansion with provisions for a potential Super Proton Proton Collider(SPPC).The CEPC primarily serves as a Higgs *** its baseline design with synchrotron radiation(SR)power of 30 MW per beam,it can achieve a luminosity of 5×10^(34)cm^(-2)s^(-1)per interaction point(IP),resulting in an integrated luminosity of 13 ab^(-1)for two IPs over a decade,producing 2.6 million Higgs *** the SR power to 50 MW per beam expands the CEPC's capability to generate 4.3 million Higgs bosons,facilitating precise measurements of Higgs coupling at sub-percent levels,exceeding the precision expected from the HL-LHC by an order of *** Technical design Report(TdR)follows the Preliminary Conceptual design Report(Pre-CdR,2015)and the Conceptual design Report(CdR,2018),comprehensively detailing the machine's layout,performance metrics,physical design and analysis,technical systems design,R&d and prototyping efforts,and associated civil engineering ***,it includes a cost estimate and a preliminary construction timeline,establishing a framework for forthcoming engineering design phase and site selection *** is anticipated to begin around 2027-2028,pending government approval,with an estimated duration of 8 *** commencement of experiments and data collection could potentially be initiated in the mid-2030s.
