Railroad condition monitoring is paramount due to frequent passage through densely populated *** significance arises from the potential consequences of accidents such as train derailments,hazardous materials leaks,or collisions which may have far-reaching impacts on communities and the surrounding *** a solution to this issue,the use of distributed acoustic sensing(DAs)-fiber optic cables along railroads provides a feasible tool for monitoring the health of these extended ***,analyzing DAs data to assess railroad health or detect potential damage is a challenging *** to the large amount of data generated by DAs,as well as the unstructured patterns and substantial noise present,traditional analysis methods are ineffective in interpreting this *** paper introduces a novel approach that harnesses the power of deep learning through a combination of CNNs and LsTMs,augmented by sliding window techniques(CNN-LsTM-sW),to advance the state-of-the-art in the railroad condition monitoring *** well as it presents the potential for DAs and fiber optic sensing technologies to revolutionize the proposed CNN-LsTM-sW model to detect conditions along the rail track *** insights from the data of High tonnage load(HTL)-a 4.16 km fiber optic and DAs setup,we were able to distinguish train position,normal condition,and abnormal conditions along the ***,our investigation demonstrated that the proposed approaches could serve as efficient techniques for processing DAs signals and detecting the condition of railroad infrastructures at any remote distance with DAs-Fiber optic cable ***,in terms of pinpointing the train's position,the CNN-LsTM architecture showcased an impressive 97%detection *** a sliding window,the CNN-LsTM labeled data,the remaining 3%of misclassified labels have been improved dramatically by predicting the exact locations of each type of ***,these prop

Objective:To assess the nephroprotective potential of agmatine in a rat model of streptozotocin-induced diabetic ***:A single dose of streptozotocin(40 mg/kg)coupled with a fructose diet induced diabetes in Wistar ***(40 and 80 mg/kg)was administered to rats for 12 *** body weight and fasting blood glucose were measured *** level,urine output,total protein,albumin,blood urea nitrogen,creatinine,and cystatin-C were also determined at the end of the ***,superoxide dismutase,glutathione,interleukin-1β,interleukin-6,and tumor necrosis factor-alpha were evaluated in kidney *** study was also performed using hematoxylin and eosin ***:Agmatine at both doses significantly increased final body weight,and lowered fasting blood glucose,urine output,insulin,total protein,albumin,blood urea nitrogen,creatinine,and cystatin-C levels compared with the diabetic group(Ps and antioxidant effect were significantly improved in agmatine-treated ***,the histopathological changes in renal structure were ameliorated by agmatine ***:Agmatine alleviates diabetic nephropathy by improving renal functions and reducing inflammation and oxidative *** molecular mechanisms of its nephroprotective actions need to be investigated in future study.

The present research employs artificial intelligence to come up with an automatic solution for the modulation's classification of various radio signal *** a result,the work we performed involved selecting the database required for supervised deep learning,evaluating the performance of current techniques on unprocessed communication signals,and suggesting a deep learning networkbased method that would enable the classification of modulation types with the best possible ratio between computation time and *** started by examining the automatic classification models that are currently in *** light of the difficulty of forecasting in low signal Noise Ratio(sNR)situations,we suggested an ensemble learning strategy based on adjusted Res Net and Transformer Neural Network,which is effective at extracting multi-scale features from the raw I/Q sequence ***,we produced an architecture that is simple to use and apply to communication *** architecture of this solution is strong and optimal,enabling it to determine the type of modulation with up to 95%accuracy automatically.

The need for higher data rate and higher systems capacity leads to several solutions including higher constellation size, spatial multiplexing, adaptive modulation and Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA). Adaptive Modulation makes use of the user’s location from his base station, such that, closer users get bigger constellation size and hence higher data rate. A similar idea of adaptive modulation that makes use of the user’s locations is the NOMA technique. Here the base station transmits composite signals each for a different user at a different distance from the base station. The transmitted signal is formed by summing different user’s constellations with different weights. The closer the users the less average power constellation is used. This will allow the closer user to the base station to distinguish his constellation and others constellation. The far user will only distinguish his constellation and other user’s data will appear as a small interference added to his signal. In this paper, it is shown that the Adaptive modulation and the NOMA are special cases of the more general Cluster Modulation technique. Therefore, a general frame can be set to design both modulation schemes and better understanding is achieved. This leads to designing a multi-level NOMA and/or flexible adaptive modulation with combined channel coding.

Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice of Using Helmets in Children amongst Parents to Prevent Head Injuries: A Cross-sectional study in Riyadh, saudi Arabia

Objectives: The primary objective was to characterize the range of Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) of Helmet use in children amongst parents to prevent head injuries and death. Methods: This is a cross-sectional study, done by online survey using a snowball sampling technique, the number of included responses were 386 parents (Male and female) living in Riyadh Aged 21 - 60 years old or above. Results: The study showed that there is a difference in Parents’ belief in the importance of helmet use while riding a Bicycle vs Motorcycle/Quad bike and that was affected by parents’ education level, almost all the people who answered the survey (76.7%) agree that it is important for their children to wear a helmet when riding both a Bicycle and a Motorcycle or Quadbike with a cumulative percentage of (93.8%). And almost all agreed on multiple approaches to help increase helmet use be it by forcing rental shops to give out helmets, forcing sellers to recommend the use of helmets, increasing awareness campaigns, and imposing fines for not wearing helmets. Conclusions: This study is the first to explore Family helmet use while riding Bicycles and Motorcycles/Quad bikes. Although Parent’s belief in the importance of helmet use for their children was high, it is clear that the level of practice is low. With that the risk of head injuries might be high, our findings suggest that safety interventions for increasing pediatric helmet use are needed to increase helmet use and reduce the risk of head injury and hospitalization.
