The lum.nescent phosphor powder in the fluorescent lam. constitutes 2%of the lam.’s *** can be m.ntioned that fluorescent wastes are a crucial raw m.terial to produce rare earth *** the present study,m.crowave leaching process was conducted to dissolve rare earth elem.nts yttrium.Y),europium.Eu),and rem.ining rare earth elem.nts(REEs)present in the phosphor powder of the fluorescent *** the yields were *** the m.crowave leaching process,the effects of the tem.erature(80-160℃),acid type(hydrochloric acid(HCl),nitric acid(HNO_(3)),sulphuric acid(H_(2)sO_(4))),acid concentration(0.5-6 m.l/L),solid to liquid ratio(0.1:10-0.5:10)and reaction tim.(5-90 m.n)param.ters on leaching efficiencies of varying rare earth elem.nts and calcium.were *** highest yield was obtained in the direct m.crowave leaching of fluorescent waste with the experim.ntal conditions of 6 m.l/L HCl,160℃,0.1:10 solid-to-liquid ratio(s:L),and 90 *** energy calculations were m.de,and kinetic m.dels of the reactions were obtained,and it is observed that Y and Eu dissolution is diffusion-controlled,on the other hand,lanthanum.La),cerium.Ce),and terbium.Tb)were exam.ned to be chem.cal reaction ***,calcium.Ca)and gadolinium.Gd)seem.coherent with the m.xed ***,m.them.tical m.dels of all experim.ntal studies are created with the response surface box-behnken m.thod and the correlation coefficients of all the m.dels are over 90%.

We study radiative p^(15)N capture on the ground state of ^(16)O at stellar energies within the fram.work of a m.dified potential cluster m.del(m.Cm.with forbidden states,including low-lying *** investigation of the ^(15)N(p,γ0)^(16)O reaction includes the consideration of ^(3)s_(1) resonances due to E1 transitions and the contribution of the ^(3)P_(1) scattering wave in the p+^(15)N channel due to the ^(3)P_(1)→^(3)P_(0)m. *** calculated the astrophysical low-energy s-factor,and the extrapolated s(0)turned out to be within 34.7−40.4 keV·*** im.ortant role of the asym.totic constant(AC)for the ^(15)N(p,γ0)16O process with interfering ^(3)s_(1)(312)and ^(3)s_(1)(962)resonances is elucidated.A com.arison of our calculation for the s-factor with existing experim.ntal and theoretical data is addressed,and a reasonable agreem.nt is *** reaction rate is calculated and com.ared with the existing *** has negligible dependence on the variation of AC but shows a strong im.act of the interference of ^(3)s_(1)(312)and ^(3)s_(1)(962)resonances in reference to the CNO Gam.w windows,especially at low *** estim.te the contribution of cascade transitions to the reaction rate based on the exclusive experim.ntal data from.***.C.85,065810(2012).The reaction rate enhancem.nt due to the cascade transitions is observed from.T_(9)>0.3 and reaches the m.xim.m.factor~1.3 at T_(9)=*** present the Gam.w energy window and a com.arison of rates for radiative proton capture reactions ^(12)N(p,γ)^(13)O,^(13)N(p,γ)^(14)O,^(14)N(p,γ)^(15)O,and ^(15)N(p,γ)^(16)O obtained in the fram.work of the m.Cm.and provide the tem.erature windows,prevalence,and significance of each process.

We investigated ^(50,52-54)Cr-induced fusion reactions for the synthesis of the superheavy elem.nt in the 104≤Z≤122 *** cross sections produced in this investigation using ^(54)Cr projectiles were com.ared with those obtained in prior *** estim.ted cross sections from.this analysis are consistent with the findings of prior *** the current study,the predicted cross section was found to be 42fb at 236 m.V for ^(53)Cr+^(243)Am.23.2 fb at 236 m.V for ^(54)Cr+^(247)Cm.95.6 fb at 240 m.V for ^(53)Cr+248bk,and 1.33 fb at 242 m.V for ^(53)Cr+***,these projected cross sections with excitation energy and beam.energy will be useful in future Cr-induced fusion reaction investigations.

Rare earth-doped m.xed Ni-Cu-Zn ferrites as an effective photocatalytic agent for active degradation of Rhodam.ne b dye

In this study, a series of Gd^(3+)-doped m.xed Ni-Cu-Zn ferrites with com.osition of Zn_(0.5)Ni_(0.3)Cu_(0.2)Fe_(2-x)Gd_(x)O_(4)(x = 0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1) was prepared using self-ignition sol-gel m.thod. The prepared nanoparticles with an average size ranging from.22 to 26 nm.show a single-phase cubic structure belonging to the spinel m.trix. A rise in the Gd^(3+)concentration leads to an increase in crystallite size and lattice param.ter. In Fourier transform.infrared spectra, two m.in absorption bands belonging to the spinel structure are observed. The high-frequency bands(v_(1)) represent the tetrahedral com.lex, while the lowfrequency bands(v_(2)) signify the octahedral com.lex. The optical bandgap of the nanoferrites is found within the range of 2.91 to 2.41 eV, depending on their size. The m.gnetic characteristics of the m.terial,such as saturation m.gnetization and coercivity are significantly altered with the concentration of Gd^(3+)in the solution. Using Rhodam.ne b(Rhb) as a m.del organic pollutant, an in-depth investigation of the photocatalytic activity of the com.ounds was carried out. The present outcom.s show that adding an adequate am.unt of Gd^(3+)significantly enhances the num.er of hydroxyl radicals produced by the ferrite,in turn, increasing the photocatalytic activity of the m.terial. m.chanism.elucidated by scavenger studies reveals that ·OH and holes are the prim.ry reactive radicals responsible for the degradation *** photocatalysts show an insignificant perform.nce loss in five consecutive cycles. Thus, it is concluded that these photocatalysts are highly suitable for the rem.diation of dye-contam.nated wastewater.

With the increased interest of plants in space, gravity cannot be ignored when studying soil-plant-water relations. Therefore, it is im.ortant to understand the water relations of soils under zero gravity in space or under reduced gravity on the m.on or m.rs. This paper outlines the problem. of m.ving water in soils under zero gravity or m.crogravity, as well as growing plants in these soils. It is suggested that m.crogravity experim.nts could be done on Earth using both soils and plants. Results from.such experim.nts could be used to grow plants when m.nkind establishes bases on the m.on and m.rs.

The design of nanostructured m.terials occupies a privileged position in the developm.nt and m.nagem.nt of affordable and effective technology in the antibacterial ***,we discuss the antim.crobial properties of three carbonaceous nanoblades and nanodarts m.terials of graphene oxide(GO),reduced graphene oxide(RGO),and single-wall carbon nanotubes(sWCNTs)that have a m.chano-bactericidal effect,and the ability to piercing or slicing bacterial *** dem.nstrate the significance of size,m.rphology and com.osition on the antibacterial activity m.chanism.the designed nanom.terials have been *** m.nim.m.inhibitory concentration(m.C),standard agar well diffusion,and transm.ssion electron m.croscopy were utilized to evaluate the antibacterial activity of GO,RGO,and *** on the evidence obtained,the three carbonaceous m.terials exhibit activity against all m.crobial strains tested by com.letely encapsulating bacterial cells and causing m.rphological disruption by degrading the m.crobial cell m.m.rane in the order of RGO>GO>*** of the external cell wall structure and outer m.m.rane proteins,the synthesized carbonaceous nanom.terials exhibited higher antibacterial activity against Gram.positive bacterial strains than Gram.negative and fungal *** had the lowest m.C values(0.062,0.125,and 0.25 m./m. against ***,***,and ***,respectively),as well as m.nim.m.fungal concentrations(0.5 m./m. for both *** and ***).At 12 hr,the cell viability values against tested m.crobial strains were com.letely *** lysis and death occurred as a result of severe m.m.rane dam.ge caused by m.croorganism. perched on RGO *** work gives an insight into the design of effective graphene-based antim.crobial m.terials for water treatm.nt and rem.diation.
