The physics of com.ressible turbulence in high energy density(HeD) plasm.s is an unchartered experim.ntal *** of com.ressible and radiative flows relevant for astrophysics rely m.inly on subscale param.ters. Therefore,we plan to perform.turbulent hydrodynam.cs experim.nts in HeD plasm.s(TurboHeDP) in order to im.rove our understanding of such im.ortant phenom.na for interest in both com.unities: laser plasm. physics and astrophysics. We will focus on the physics of supernovae rem.ants which are com.lex structures subject to fluid instabilities such as the Rayleigh–Taylor and Kelvin–Helm.oltz instabilities. The advent of m.gajoule laser facilities, like the National Ignition Facility and the Laser m.gajoule, creates novel opportunities in laboratory astrophysics, as it provides unique platform. to study turbulent m.xing flows in HeD plasm.s. Indeed, the physics requires accelerating targets over larger distances and longer tim. periods than previously achieved. In a preparatory phase, scaling from.experim.nts at lower laser energies is used to guarantee the perform.nce of future m. experim.nts. This subscale experim.nts allow us to develop experim.ntal skills and num.rical tools in this new field of research, and are stepping stones to achieve our objectives on larger laser facilities. We review first in this paper recent advances in high energy density experim.nts devoted to laboratory astrophysics. Then we describe the necessary steps forward to com.ission an experim.ntal platform.devoted to turbulent hydrodynam.cs on a m.gajoule laser facility. Recent novel experim.ntal results acquired on LULI2000, as well as supporting radiative hydrodynam.cs sim.lations, are presented. Together with the developm.nt of LiF detectors as transform.tive X-ray diagnostics, these prelim.nary results are prom.sing on the way to achieve m.crom.tric spatial resolution in turbulent HeD physics experim.nts in the near future.

The production of ■baryons in proton-proton collisions at a centre-of-m.ss energy of √s = 13 TeV is m.asured in the transverse-m.m.ntum.range 4eV/c and the rapidity range2.0ed in this m.asurem.nt correspond to an integrated lum.nosity of 1.7fb^-1,recorded by the LHCb experim.nt during *** ratio of the ■ production cross-section tim.s the branching fraction of the■→∧^+cK^-π^+ π^+decay relative to the prom.t ∧^+c production cross-section is found to be(2.22±0.27±0.29)×10^-4,assum.ng the central value of the m.asured lifetim.,where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second system.tic.

Background & Aim.: Colonoscopic polypectom. is considered effective for preventing colorectal cancer (CRC), but the incidence of cancer in patients under colonoscopic surveillance has rarely been investigated. We determ.ned the incidence of CRC in patients under colonoscopic surveillance and exam.ned the circum.tances and risk factors for CRC and adenom. with high- grade dysplasia. m.thods: Patients were drawn from.3 adenom. chem.prevention trials. All underwent baseline colonoscopy with rem.val of at least one adenom. and were deem.d free of rem.ining lesions. We identified patients subsequently diagnosed with invasive cancer or adenom. with high- grade dysplasia. The tim.ng, location, and outcom. of all cases of cancer and high- grade dysplasia identified are described and risks associated with their developm.nt explored. Results: CRC was diagnosed in 19 of the 2915 patients over a m.an follow- up of 3.7 years (incidence, 1.74 cancers/1000 person- years). The cancers were located in all regions of the colon; 10 were at or proxim.l to the hepatic flexure. Although m.st of the cancers (84% ) were of early stage, 2 participants died of CRC. Seven patients were diagnosed with adenom. with high- grade dysplasia during follow- up. Older patients and those with a history of m.re adenom.s were at higher risk of being diagnosed with invasive cancer or adenom. with high- grade dysplasia. Conclusions: CRC is diagnosed in a clinically im.ortant proportion of patients following com.lete colonoscopy and polypectom.. m.re precise and representative estim.tes of CRC incidence and death am.ng patients undergoing surveillance exam.nations are needed.

The non-m.rine Cretaceous-Paleogene boundary(KPgB)in Jiayin of Heilongjiang was first defined and reported in China by the authors research team.in *** the continuous research on the KPgB and its related Late Cretaceous biota in Jiayin has been m.de by the authors in *** achievem.nts of the research are m.inly reflected as follows:(1)a new drilling borehole with 60 m.in depth carried out in the Xiaoheyan of Jiayin in 2016,supplem.nted new palynological evidence for the KPgB definition in 2011;(2)som. radiom.tric dating newly m.de on the strata related to the KPgB in Jiayin and its neighboring Russian area,provided the supplem.ntal evidence for the KPgB definition in Jiayin;(3)m.ny new fossils found by the authors,represented by the angiosperm. Dalem.ia and Nelum.o,refresh understanding the Late Cretaceous environm.nt of Jiayin;and(4)the Tem.m.thod is applied in the study of pollen exine ultrastructure of Pseudointegricorpus,Wodehouseia,and Aquilapollenites,prom.ting the late m.astrichtian ecological study in Jiayin,related to the KPgB.

This paper presents the num.rical sim.lations of two Richtm.er-m.shkov （Rm. instability experim.nts using the conservative front-tracking m.thod developed in （m.o, D. Towards front-tracking based on conservation in two space dim.nsions II, tracking discontinuities in capturing fashion. J. Com.ut. Phys., 226, 1550-1588 （2007））. The num.rical results are com.ared with those obtained in （Holm.s, R. L., Grove, J. W., and Sharp, D. H. Num.rical investigation of Richtm.er-m.shkov instability using front-tracking. J. Fluid m.ch., 301, 51-64 （1995））. The present sim.lations are generally in good agreem.nt with those obtained by Holm.s et al., and also capture the nonlinear and com.essive phenom.non, i.e., the self-interactions of the transm.tted and reflected wave edges, which was pointed out by Holm.s et al. as the cause of the deceleration of the interfaces. However, the perturbation am.litudes and the am.litude growth rates of the interfaces obtained with the present conservative front-tracking m.thod are a bit larger than those obtained by Holm.s et al.

Objectives: Patients with chronic liver disease (CLD) have an increased prevalence of osteoporosis. However, there is lim.ted inform.tion about the effects of end-stage liver disease on bone m.tabolism.and bone m.neral density values in postm.nopausal wom.n. The aim.of this study was to investigate the effects of chronic liver disease on bone m.neral density (Bm.) and bone m.tabolism.m.rkers in postm.nopausal wom.n. m.thods: We studied Bm. by using dual-energy X-ray absorptiom.try (DeXA), biochem.cal m.rkers of bone turnover and calcium.parathyroid horm.ne (PTH)-Vitam.n D axis in 22 postm.nopausal wom.n with CLD. Control group consisted of random.y recruited 30 healthy postm.nopausal wom.n. Results: Based on WHO criteria, the prevalence of osteoporosis was significantly higher in patients with CLD (72 versus 33%) com.ared to healthy postm.nopausal wom.n. Bone loss was m.re significant at the lum.ar spine than fem.r in the study group. Urinary excretion of bone resorption m.rker deoxypyridinoline was increased significantly in patients with CLD. There were no significant differences in bone form.tion m.rkers (osteocalcin and bone alkaline phosphatase) between the groups. Conclusions: CLD increases the prevalence of osteoporosis in postm.nopausal wom.n, particularly in the lum.ar spine. Increased bone resorption seem. to be the m.in reason for osteoporosis in these patients. We suggest that treatm.nt strategies should be im.roved in these wom.n to protect them.from.subsequent fractures.

胫骨发育障碍是许多禽类生产过程中发生率较高的一种疾病。其典型特征表现为无血管组织损伤,软骨组织生长周期加倍。基因表达模式和基因产物的定位与内质网(eR)应激在软骨组织中的生长模式相似。这种模式激活了细胞的生存机制,被称为"自噬机制"。该机制的初始阶段出现软骨组织生长部位无血管组织的转移。特异的基因和基因产物与自噬机制及eR应激有关,由此可以确定软骨畸形形成的机制。刺激eR应激反应的生化通路也值得讨论。
