Human activity monitoring is an exciting research area to assist independent living among disabled and elderly *** techniques have been proposed to recognise human activities,such as exploiting sensors,cameras,wearables,and contactless microwave *** these,the microwave sensing has recently gained significant attention due to its merit to solve the privacy concerns of cameras and discomfort caused by ***,the existing microwave sensing techniques have a basic disadvantage of requiring controlled and ideal settings for high-accuracy activity detections,which restricts its wide adoptions in non-line-of-sight(Non-LOS)***,we propose a concept of intelligent wireless walls(IWW)to ensure high-precision activity monitoring in complex environments wherein the conventional microwave sensing is *** IWW is composed of a reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS)that can perform beam steering and beamforming,and machine learning algorithms that can automatically detect the human activities with high *** complex environments are considered:one is a corridor junction scenario with transmitter and receiver in separate corridor sections and the other is a multi-floor scenario wherein the transmitter and receiver are placed on two different floors of a *** each of the aforementioned environments,three distinct body movements are considered namely,sitting,standing,and *** subjects,one male and one female perform these activities in both *** is demonstrated that IWW provide a maximum detection gain of 28%in multi-floor scenario and 25%in corridor junction scenario as compared to traditional microwave sensing without RIS.

Effects of bismuth on structural and dielectric properties of cobalt-cadmium spinel ferrites fabricated via micro-emulsion route

Spinel ferrites have a significant role in high-tech *** the present work nano-crystalline ferrites having general formula Co0.5Cd0.5BixFe2-xO4 with(x=0.0,0.05,0.1,0.15,0.2,and 0.25)are synthesized via micro-emulsion *** x-ray diffraction(XRD)studies discover the FCC spinel *** size is calculated in a range of 11 nm-15 *** parameter calculations are reduced due to its substitution which leads to the exchange of large ionic radius of Fe^3+for small ionic radius of Bi^3+.The x-ray density is analyzed to increase with *** transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)is performed to analyze absorption band *** two absorption bands are observed in a range of 400 cm^-1-600 cm^-1,and they are the characteristic feature of spinel ***-gravimetric analysis(TGA)reveals the total weight loss of nearly 1.98%.Dielectric analysis is carried out by impedance analyzer in a frequency span from 1 MHz to 3 GHz by using the Maxwell Wagner *** studies reveal the decrease of dielectric *** alternating current(AC)conductivity exhibits a plane behavior in a low frequency range and it increases with the applied frequency *** is attributed to the grain effects in a high frequency range or may be due to the reduction of *** and imaginary part of impedance show the decreasing trend which corresponds to the grain boundary *** imaginary modulus shows the occurrence of peak that helps to understand the interfacial ***-Cole graph shows a single semicircle which confirms that the conduction mechanism is due to the grain boundaries at low *** studies reveal the applicability of these ferrites in high frequency equipment,microwave applications,high storage media,and semiconductor devices.

ObjectiveWe collected heptocytes from the resected adult benign lesions tissues of liver with the help of surgery to study on quality inspection of adult primary hepatocyte after isolation such as morphological changes,metabolic activities and mycoplasma infection during culture in *** isolated hepatocytes from benign liver tissues of patients using modified collagenase perfusion,isolated adult primary hepatocytes counted by blood count plate,liver cells survival rate is checked by trypan blue staining *** hepatocyte activity in 7 days continuous culture were detected by CCK-8;.The amount of human Albumin,urea and Alpha-1 antitrypsin secreted into the medium was measured byenzyme-linked immunosorbent assay（ELISA）.Hoechst Staining Method is used for Detection of *** quantify of fresh adult primary hepatocytes count up to 109,viability detection of fresh adult primary hepatocytes with trypan blue staining was 90%or *** experimental results of CCK-8 showed that the cell viability of hepatocyte were in the best state at the third day of *** secretion is at its highest concentration at 3rd day and from the 4th day started decreasing *** secretion during hepatocytes culture was high at 2nd and 3rd day,from 3rd day start decreasing ***-1-antitrypsin secretion decreasing gradually during 7days of hepatocytes *** is no mycoplasma detected in hepatocytes cultured in *** the process of adult primary liver cell cultivation,Albumin and urea secretion was high at 3rd day and Alpha-1-antitrypsin secretion decreases gradually during hepatocytes flow culture *** is no mycoplasma infection found during hepatocytes culture so hepatocytes have high purity for transplantation.

目的:研究慢乙肝基础上药物性肝损伤的临床表现、实验室指标的特点。方法:采用回顾性分析的方法,收集2012年1月~2014年12月期间在我院诊断为药物性肝损伤患者一般资料、肝功能、凝血酶原时间等,根据乙肝表面抗原检测(HBsAg)分为乙肝阳性组和乙肝阴性组(下文均简写为阳性组、阴性组),阳性组38例,阴性组55例。根据不同资料类型进行统计学分析。结果:93例药物性肝损伤患者中,阴性组和阳性组DILI临床分型均以肝细胞损伤型为主,ALT、黄疸较阴性组高,阳性组发病年龄低于阴性组;阳性组重型肝炎发病率高于阴性组患者;凝血酶原时间、AST、ALP、TB、CB等比较均无明显差异。结论:慢乙肝基础上的药物性肝损伤对肝脏损伤更重。

Views of South Asian Physicians on Climate Related Health Effects: A Multinational Cross-Sectional Pilot Study

Background: South Asian populations are vulnerable to poor health outcomes associated with climate due to the region’s complex topography, poverty, lack of education, and population density. Physicians, being highly trusted members of society, can help mitigate climate change effects in their countries. Objectives: The present study assessed perceptions of physicians from four South Asian countries (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and Pakistan). We hypothesized that physicians from these countries will be aware and knowledgeable about health effects of climate change. Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional online survey of physicians between March and July 2022. Data of 201 physicians was analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis test and Dunn’s post hoc method. Results: Physicians from four South Asian countries were attuned to the health risks associated with climate change. A majority of physicians (86.6%) believed that climate change would make health conditions in their countries more severe or frequent (Bangladesh 83.3%;Bhutan 70%;India 91% and Pakistan 90.8%). The most common health effect related to climate change was illnesses related to reduced outdoor air quality (54.3%). Common barriers to discuss climate change with patients from all four countries were physicians’ lack of knowledge (strongly agree, 13.8%;agree 47.7%) in how to approach the issue with patients, lack of time (strongly agree, 12%;agree, 48%) and their perception that patients were not interested in knowing about climate change (strongly agree, 8.6%;agree, 42.6%). More than half (56.2%) of the physicians reported no training (Bangladesh, 51.7%;Bhutan, 80%;India, 44.6%;Pakistan, 63.1%) and approximately 30% reported less than 20 hours of training (Bangladesh, 28.3%;Bhutan, 15.0%;India, 39.3%;Pakistan, 27.7%) in climate-change-related health effects.
