Kawasaki disease, <i>Mycoplasma pneumoniae</i>infection and anaplastic large cell lymphoma: An uncommon association

Kawasaki disease (KD) is an acute febrile systemic vasculitis occurring predominantly in young children less than 5 years of age. Although imperfectly known, the aetiopathogenesis of KD would be secondary to immunological abnormalities that could constitute a favourable terrain for neoplasms. We report on a case in a 2-year-old girl who presented clinical manifestations compatible with Kawasaki disease complicated by coronary aneurysm. Aetiopathological investigations revealed M. pneumoniae infection as specific IgM were present in the serum (Elisa). The patient was initially treated by intravenous immunoglobulins (IVIG) and aspirin to anti-inflammatory dose. Following a few days of desquamation, resolution of the symptomatology occurred. Four weeks later she developed disseminated tumorous syndrome. Lymph node biopsy revealed massive infiltration by large cells lymphomatous proliferation. Histologic and immunophenotypic findings were characteristic of ALK-1+ anaplastic large cell lymphoma. Four weeks later, the patient died from a severe nosocomial infection complicated by septic shock. Our observation is the first cases describing the association between anaplastic large cell lymphoma, KD and M. pneumoniae. Immunologic disorder due to KD and M. pneumoniae infection may play probably a central role for malignancy.

The advancement of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) technology in terms of industrial processes and communication and networking technologies has led to an increase in their use in civil, business, and social applications. Global rules in most countries had previously limited the use of drones to military applications due to their deployment in the open air, drones are likely to be lost, destroyed, or physically hijacked. However, more recently, the presence of COVID-19 has forced the world to present new implementing measures which will also widen the use of drones in civil and commercial and social applications, especially now in the delivery of medicines for medical home care. In the period of required public isolation as a consequence of the SARS-COV-2 pandemic, this knowledge has become one of the principal partners in the fight against the coronavirus. This paper offers a summary of the medical drone manufacturing, with a specific emphasis on its approval by the pharmaceutical sector to solve logistical problems in healthcare during times of sensitive need. We also discuss the numerous challenges to be met in the integration of drones to save our lives and suggest future research directions. The question that arises for this problem, how to optimize delivery medical supplies times in-home health care made up of drones? We conducted a synthesis literature review devoted to the use of UAVs in healthcare with their different aspects. A total of different research made are given to describe the role of UAV in Home healthcare with the presence of SARS-COV-2. We conclude that the drones will be able to optimize the way of eliminating contamination with a very high percentage(through the reduction of human contact) with the increase of the flexibility of the flight(reaching the less accessible regions every hour of the day).

Geochemical Record of the Cenomanian-Turonian Anoxic Event in Tunisia:Is it Correlative and Isochronous to the Biotic Signal?

In Tunisia, five Bahloul spaced sections, Bargou, Jerisa, Guern Halfaya, Kherij and Gafsa were analyzed for biostratigraphy （foraminifera and radiolarians） and major and trace elements. This high-resolution biostratigraphic and chemostratigraphic integrated analyses for the Late Cenomanian-Early Turonian Bahloul Formation provide new insight into the palaeoceanographic evolution of the southern Tethyan margin. Relative low abundance of related terrigenous Ti/Ai and K/ Al ratios and enrichment of some productivity proxies such as Ba, Cu, and Ni （organic matter related trace elements） suggests that the Bahloul, deposited during a relatively short period （0.5 Ma）, was of relatively elevated primary productivity and minimal detrital input. While higher D＊ values concurrent with lower Ti/AI ratios are interpreted as caused by enhanced fluvial material contribution, due to more humid climate during the OAE-2. Enhanced humidity triggered probably fluvial influxes, resulted in a sluggish water circulation and consequent anoxic/euxinic conditions favoring the preservation of organic matter at the bottom. Enrichments in redox-sensitive trace metals U, V, and Mo in the Bahloul Formation deposits and redox indices, such as V/（V＋Ni）, U/Th, V/Cr, and Ni/Co, indicate that oxygen-restricted conditions prevailed during the Late Cenomanian to earliest Turonian times and correlate well with relative abundances of some foraminiferal and radiolarian paleo- environmental relevant indicators. High Ba~ values and Uauth may indicate anoxic conditions at least at the water-sediment interface during the Bahloul Formation deposition and provide information about low to moderate sulfate-reduction reactions.

Recently, wireless distributed computing （WDC） concept has emerged promising manifolds improvements to current wireless technotogies. Despite the various expected benefits of this concept, significant drawbacks were addressed in the open literature. One of WDC key challenges is the impact of wireless channel quality on the load of distributed computations. Therefore, this research investigates the wireless channel impact on WDC performance when the tatter is applied to spectrum sensing in cognitive radio （CR） technology. However, a trade- off is found between accuracy and computational complexity in spectrum sensing approaches. Increasing these approaches accuracy is accompanied by an increase in computational complexity. This results in greater power consumption and processing time. A novel WDC scheme for cyclostationary feature detection spectrum sensing approach is proposed in this paper and thoroughly investigated. The benefits of the proposed scheme are firstly presented. Then, the impact of the wireless channel of the proposed scheme is addressed considering two scenarios. In the first scenario, workload matrices are distributed over the wireless channel

Hylobius abietis is a plant parasitic insect belonging to the order Coleoptera and which causes severe damages to coniferous forests in Northern and Eastern *** current study is aimed to provide a new viewpoint into the waste of this insect by producing *** insect corpses consisted of 27.9%chitin and 86.2%of the chitin was converted into the ***-IR spectra analyses confirmed the purity and the deacetylation degree of the produced chitosan(molecular weight of chitosan;7.3 kDa).This chitosan exhibited antimicrobial activity against 18 bacterial ***,biodegradable chitosan composite films with β-carotene were *** activity of chitosan films were found to be higher than chitosan gels;andβ-carotene incorporation further increased the antioxidative properties of the chitosan *** study demonstrated that the waste of parasitic insect like *** can be evaluated as a source for production of biodegradable and edible chitosan-based films for applications in food coating.

Lignin depolymerization for phenolic monomers production by sustainable processes

Biomass wastes(almond shell and olive tree pruning) were used in this work as raw materials for the extraction of high purity lignin by different delignification methods. A pretreatment stage was carried out to remove the major hemicelluloses content in the solid feedstocks. Afterward, two sulfur-free pulping processes(soda and organosolv) were applied to extract the largest fraction of lignin. The extracted lignin contained in the liquors was isolated using selective precipitation methods to design a tailor-made technique for obtaining high-purity lignin(in all cases more 90% of purity was reached). Soda process allowed the extraction of more lignin(around 40%–47%) than organosolv process(lower than 20%) regardless of the lignocellulosic source *** the different lignin samples were isolated and characterized, they were depolymerized for the obtaining of small phenolic compounds. Three main streams were produced after the reaction: phenolic enriched oil, residual lignin and coke. After the purification of these fractions, their quantifications and characterization were *** most abundant product of the reaction was residual lignin generated by the undesirable repolymerization of the initial lignin with yields around 30%–45%. The yield of the stream enriched in phenolic oil was higher than 20%. Coke, the lowest added-value product, presented a yield lower than 12% in all the cases. Lignin from organosolv presented higher phenolic oil yields, mainly due to their lower molecular size. This parameter was, thus, considered a key factor to obtain higher yields.

This work presents a multi-criteria analysis of the MAC （media access control） layer misbehavior of the IEEE （Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers） 802.11 standard, whose principle is to cheat at the protocol to increase the transmission rate by greedy nodes at the expense of the other honest nodes. In fact, IEEE 802.11 forces nodes for access to the channel to wait for a back off interval, randomly selected from a specified range, before initiating a transmission. Greedy nodes may wait for smaller back-off intervals than honest nodes, and then obtaining an unfair assignment. In the first of our works a state of art on the research on IEEE 802.11 MAC layer misbehavior are presented. Then the impact of this misbehavior at the reception is given, and we will generalize this impact on a large scale. An analysis of the correlation between the throughput and the inter-packets time is given. Afterwards, we will define a new metric for measuring the performance and capability of the network.

Assessment of Effects of Stress among Healthcare Providers at the Tabarka and Jendouba General Hospital’s Emergency Service Units in Northern Tunisia

The study assessed the relationship between exposure to stress and posttraumatic symptoms among nurses and physicians in a Jendouba general hospital. Hospital staff who were exposed to stress were assessed for posttraumatic stress disorder. High levels of stress symptoms were found in physicians and nurses. Logistic regression analysis showed that nurses had an increased risk for posttraumatic stress disorder factors characterized by negative behavior to patient, increased workload excessive ambiguity and role conflict and the lack of free. These findings showed that nurses suffered from more severe posttraumatic symptoms compared to physicians after exposure to prolonged stress. The gap between physicians and nurses warrants further study.
