The power sector has substantial carbon emissions reduction potential that could achieve the new nationally determined contribution target in 2030 by increasing low-carbon technologies,*** renewable energy sources and electric vehicles(EVs).Therefore,two approaches were suggested in this *** the first approach,Thailand’s power sector was modelled by using PLEXOS software to find the impact of the high penetration of variable renewable energy(RE)and EV charging load for the projected year *** second approach proposed a demand-response and energy storage system solution with carbon pricing in the model to assess the *** a result,the electricity demand from charging EVs will cause a new peak.demand at night,while the high variable RE penetration will cause curtailment in the power system due to excess supply at ***,Thailand’s power sector has the potential for carbon emissions reduction by 45%with clean energy technologies,which could increase to 68%with carbon pricing,easily achievable by the nationally determined contribution target in ***,these benefits could only be derived if various entities involved in the energy regulatory,transport and power sectors coordinate to implement the required technological and financial policies.

This work.aims to investigate the factors accelerating electric vehicle(EV)acceptance at the consumer end in Pak.stan and analyzes the implications for policymak.rs for a fast-track.EV *** study further in-vestigates the high EV penetration scenario resulting from the technology acceptance model(TAM's 80%EV)and its impact on energy demand and CO_(2)*** study design used a quantitative analysis method with the survey as an instrument for data collection regarding EV *** model under investigation was adapted from the famous Technology-Acceptance Models(TAMs)and modified with other significant predictors evidenced in the *** and stepwise regression were performed with a multicollinearity check.for model hypothesis *** of six predictors,only four factors were significant in accelerating the EV *** policies were found to be highly significant,followed by environmental concern,facilitating conditions and perceived ease of *** research then used exponential smoothing forecasts for transport demand and developed an EV penetration scenario based on modified TAM *** results highlight the significant in-crease in transport demand and the opportunity for Pak.stan to limit passenger transport emissions to 36.6 MT instead of 61.6 MT by 2040.

Energy access,climate change and public health issues are some major drivers for the need for renewable ***,most renewable sources,excluding large hydro,have zero or negligible rotational inertia,which is critical to stabilizing the power system after ***,this paper proposes a droop-based inertia emulator to reduce the rate of change of frequency and frequency *** robustness of the controller is analysed by applying various uncertainties and disturbances of power system components that were carried out using DIgSILENT PowerFactory *** obtained results are compared with existing literature and the desired performance shows an improvement in the rate of change of frequency of 34.78%for an IEEE 6-bus system,24.32%for a 12-bus system and 18%for a 39-bus system.

Back.round:Large-scale hunting and various anthropogenic pressures in the recent past have pushed the Asiatic caracal(Caracal caracal schmitzi),an elusive medium-sized and locally threatened felid species towards local extinction in *** widely distributed historically,it has been sparsely reported from several regions of central and northern states in India till twentieth ***,the species distribution became confined only to the states of Rajasthan,Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh,which have had reported sightings in the twenty-first *** order to highlight the potentially suitable habitats for Asiatic caracals in India,we targeted forth-filtering of the spatial model ensemble by creating and utilizing the validated and spatially thinned species presence information(n=69)and related ecological variables(aridity,NDVI,precipitation seasonality,temperature seasonality,terrain ruggedness),filtered with anthropological variable(nightlight).Results:Out of eight spatial prediction models,the two most parsimonious models,Random Forest(AUC 0.91)and MaxEnt(AUC 0.89)were weighted and *** ensemble model indicated several clustered habitats,covering 1207.83 k.^(2)areas in k.chchh(Gujarat),Aravalli mountains(Rajasthan),Malwa plateau(Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh),and Bundelk.and region(Madhya Pradesh)as potentially suitable habitats for *** probabilities of pixels were further regressed with converted vegetation height data within selected highly potential habitats,i.e.,Ranthambore k.no Landscape(Rk.)(suitability~0.44+0.03(vegetation height)^(**),R^(2)=0.27).The regression model inferred a significant positive relation between vegetation height and habitat suitability,hence the lowest ordinal class out of three classes of converted vegetation height was mask.d out from the Rk.,which yielded in an area of 567 k.^(2) as potentially highly suitable habitats for caracals,which can be further proposed as survey areas and conservation priority are

In this paper, we present and discuss a an optical surface plasmon resonance （SPR） path to extend the enhancement of the resolution of sensor. Basically, our approach is to combine bi-metamaterial layers to design the SPR sensor. The calculation shows that the proposed SPR sensor structure has a preference over the conventional SPR sensors and bimetallic SPR sensors since it gives a much sharper reflectance dip and can achieve considerable sensitivity improvement when compared to the recently reported investigations. The effects of the metamaterial permittivity, permeability, and thick.ess on the reflectance curve are studied. It is also seen that metamaterial layers improve the field of the proposed SPR structure, which may provide a novel tool to significantly enhance the sensitivity and resolution of the sensors.

DFT and TD-DFT calculations of HOMO and LUMO energies and photovoltaic properties are carried out on four selected pentathiophene donor and one IDIC-4F acceptor molecules using B3LYP and PBE0 functionals for the ground state energy calculations and CAM-B3LYP functional for the excited state *** discrepancy between the calculated and experimental energies is reduced by correlating them with a linear *** fitted energies of HOMO and LUMO are used to calculate the Voc of an OSC based on these donors and acceptor blend and compared with experimental *** the Scharber model the calculated PCE of the donor-acceptor molecules agree with the *** has been found that fluorine substitution can be used to improve charge transport by reducing the electron and hole reorganization energies of the *** is also found that the introduction of fluorine onto the donor pentathiophene unit of the donor molecule results in a change of polarity of the distributed charges in the molecule due to the high electronegativity of the fluorine *** quantum chemical potential(μ),chemical hardness(η)and electronegativity(χ),and electrostatic potential maps(EPMs)are also calculated to identify different charge distribution regions in all five molecules.

Mine disasters occur predominantly due to methane or coal dust explosion or a combination of *** the top ten worst coal mine disasters in India, nine are due to coal dust explosion. The current paper describes a general overview of the parameters causing dispersion leading to coal dust explosion,and computational fluid dynamics(CFD) simulation study to observe the effects of particle size on dispersion in Indian coal mines. Turbulent k.netic energy(Tk.) and velocity vector path of dust-air mixture and dust-free air were simulated to understand their effects on coal dust dispersion. The Tk. contours and velocity vector paths for dust-free air were uniform and symmetrical due to resistance-free path available. The Tk. contours and velocity vector paths for dust-air mixture shows the asymmetrical distribution of contours, due to entrainment of air with dust particles. Vortices were observed in velocity vector paths which gradually diminish on increment of time sequence. These vortices are dead centres where velocity and coal dust particles concentration are both zero.

Objective:To evaluate the safety,efficacy and feasibility of laser with suction device in mini-percutaneous nephrolithotomy(mini-PCNL).Methods:A retrospective study was conducted including 200 patients who underwent mini-PCNL for renal *** patients underwent PCNL using Electro-Medical Systems *** addition to the laser in 100 patients,a suction device was used(laser with suction[LWS]).In the other 100,suction device was not used(laser with no additional suction[LOS]).Mini-PCNL was performed using standard technique and k.rl Storz minimally invasive PCNL-medium system was *** end point was stone ***:Both the groups were comparable in terms of demographic *** stone size was 15.24±5.90 mm and 16.16±5.53 mm in LWS and LOS,*** Hounsfield unit of stone was 1285.64 and 1206.79 in LWS and LOS,*** time was less in LWS group(56.89±19.65 min)as compared to LOS(62.01±28.81 min).At one-month follow-up,radiological complete clearance was 96%in LWS and 92%in *** subgroup analysis of stones larger than 18 mm,the clearance rate was in favour of LWS(85.7%vs.100%)and also the need for nephrostomy placement was less in LWS ***:LWS device is safe and efficacious when used with *** stones greater than 18 mm,it has a better stone free rate as compared to using no suction.
