This study attempted to generate a long-term(1961-2010)daily gridded precipitation dataset for the Upper Indus Basin(UIB)with orographic adjustments so as to generate realistic precipitation estimates,enabling hydrological and water resource investigations that can close the water balance,that is difficult,if not impossible to achieve with the currently available precipitation data products for the *** procedure includes temporal reconstruction of precipitation series at points where data were not recorded prior to the mid-nineties,followed by a regionalization of the precipitation series to a smaller scale across the basin(0.125°x 0.125°),while introducing adjustments for the orographic effect and changes in glacier *** reconstruction process involves interpolation of the precipitation at virtual locations of the current(1995-)dense observational network,followed by corrections for frequency and intensity and adjustments for temporal trends at these virtual *** data generated in this way were further validated for temporal and spatial representativeness through evaluation of SWAT-modelled streamflow responses against observed flows across the *** results show that the calibrated SWAT-simulated daily discharge at the basin outlet as well as at different sub-basin outlets,when forcing the model with the reconstructed precipitation of years 1973—1996,is almost identical to that when forcing it with the reference precipitation data(1997-2008).Finally,the spatial distribution pattern of the reconstructed(1961—1996)and reference(1997—2008)precipitation were also found consistent across the UIB,reflecting well the large-scale atmospheric-circulation pattern in the region.

移动数据流量的快速增长对第五代(fifth-generation,5G)蜂窝网络来说是一个巨大的挑战。根据现有统计,2014年数据流量增长了69%,自2000年以来增长了30倍。据预测,未来几十年,这一需求仍将增加。然而,当前的蜂窝网络无法支持如此高的数据速率和频谱效率。为了满足对高数据速率和频谱效率的需求,时分双工(Time Division Duplex,TDD)大规模多输入多输出(massive Multiple-Input Multiple-Output,m MIMO)系统被认为具有广阔的前景,它在基站(Base Stations,BS)使用大量天线来支持大规模用户(user,UE)。然而,TDD模式受到导频污染(Pilot Contamination,PC)的高度影响,这是由于在不同小区的用户之间使用相同的导频序列造成的。因此,PC是大规模MIMO中的一个关键问题,它会显著降低系统性能,需要解决。在本论文中,我们提出了一种新的导频分配方案“超着色图导频分配(HCPA)来抑制PC并提高系统的频谱效率(Spectral Efficiency,SE)。根据这种HCPA方法,候选UE基于其信干噪比(Signal-to-Interference-Noise Ratio,SINR)分为两个区域,即小区中心区域和小区边缘区域。此外,为了限制最小上行链路速率,本文提出了具有超边的干扰关系图,利用图着色方法分配导频。仿真结果表明,该算法可以有效地降低PC,提高系统的和速率。此外,与传统的导频分配技术相比,该方法可以在较大的信噪比范围内保持较低的均方误差和归一化均方误差(Mean Squared Error,MSE),更高的数据速率和更好的SE。

Flash floods are deemed the most fatal and disastrous natural hazards globally due to their prompt onset that requires a short prime time for emergency *** Internet of things(CIoT)technologies including inherent characteristics of cognitive radio(CR)are potential candidates to develop a monitoring and early warning system(MEWS)that helps in efficiently utilizing the short response time to save lives during flash ***,most CIoT devices are battery-limited and thus,it reduces the lifetime of the *** tackle these problems,we propose a CIoTbased MEWS to slash the fatalities of flash *** extend the lifetime of the MEWS by conserving the limited battery energy of CIoT sensors,we formulate a resource assignment problem for maximizing energy *** solve the problem,at first,we devise a polynomial-time heuristic energyefficient scheduler(EES-1).However,its performance can be unsatisfactory since it requires an exhaustive search to find local optimum values without consideration of the overall network energy *** enhance the energy efficiency of the proposed EES-1 scheme,we additionally formulate an optimization problem based on a maximum weight matching bipartite ***,we additionally propose a Hungarian algorithm-based energy-efficient scheduler(EES-2),solvable in polynomial *** simulation results show that the proposed EES-2 scheme achieves considerably high energy efficiency in the CIoT-based MEWS,leading to the extended lifetime of the MEWS without loss of throughput performance.

This research is focused on the analysis of the sequence stratigraphic units of F3 Block,within a wave-dominated delta of Plio–Pleistocene *** wells of F3 block and a 3D seismic data,are utilized in this *** conventional techniques of 3D seismic interpretation were utilized to mark the 11 surfaces on the seismic *** of seismic sequence stratigraphic interpretation,using well logs,and subsequent 3D geostatistical modeling,using seismic data,aided to evaluate the shallow hydrocarbon *** resulting models were obtained using System Tract and Facies models,which were generated by using sequential stimulation method and their variograms made by spherical method,moreover,these models are validated via *** CDF curve generated from upscaling of well logs using geometric method,shows a good relation with less percentage of errors(1 to 2 for Facies and 3 to 4 for System Tract models)between upscaled and raw data that complements the resulted *** approaches help us to delineate the best possible reservoir,lateral extent of system tracts(LST and/or HST)in the respective surface,and distribution of sand and shale in the *** clinoform break points alteration observed on seismic sections,also validates the sequence stratigraphic *** GR log-based Facies model and sequence stratigraphy-based System Tract model of SU-04-2 showed the reservoir characteristics,presence of sand bodies and majorly LST,respectively,mainly adjacent to the main fault of the studied ***,on the seismic section,SU-04-2 exhibits the presence of gas pockets at the same location that also complements the generated Facies and System Tract *** generated models can be utilized for any similar kind of study and for the further research in the F3 block reservoir characterization.

The energy consumption in buildings for heating,ventilation,and air-conditioning is increasing with the in-creasing demand for thermal *** energy storage with phase change material(PCM)has attracted growing attention for its role in achieving energy conservation in buildings with thermal *** paper investigates the effect of PCM on the heat transfer rate in a building wall and the role of PCM on the indoor thermal comfort of the *** models of building wall fragments were developed for the experimental *** one model,tests were conducted for different positions of the PCM layer in the building wall to identify the optimal position of the PCM layer inside the *** another model,tests were carried out integrating PCM,air gap,and other conventional building materials(brickbat and sand),one at a time,to investigate the role of PCM on the heat transfer rate in the building wall *** results show that placing the PCM layer closer to the heat source gives a low-temperature gain of the cold water bath(indoor state)as compared with the PCM layer near the heat *** PCM,the temperature rise of the cold water bath(indoor state)of the building wall fragment was the lowest,and the slope of the temperature rise of the cold water bath becomes steadier with time i.e.,fewer temperature *** was a significant time delay for the cold water bath to reach a given *** heat required for a unit degree increase in the temperature of the cold water bath was higher and the peak heat flux of the wall was lower relative to the other building materials.

由可再生能源生产的生物柴油,被认为是一种有吸引力的可替代燃料,它能够提供甘油作为主要副产品。在生物柴油工业中,从甘油中提炼出的有价值的副产物在经济可持续性中发挥着至关重要的作用。通过催化剂的氢化反应,我们得到的有效产物是1,2-丙二醇(1,2-PDO)和1,3-丙二醇(1,3-PDO)。虽然这些主要副产品也可以用其他方法生产,但这一种更为有效。(1,2-PDO)和(1,3-PDO)在化学工业中有许多应用,如聚酯树脂、洗涤剂、聚对苯二甲酸丙二醇酯和医药行业。本研究以铂、钌、铱为活性组分,以氧化铝、二氧化硅为载体,采用真空等体积浸渍法制备了催化剂。然后加入钾、钨、锡、铼作为助剂,以提高催化剂的性能。甘油氢解反应是在连续固定床反应器中进行。研究结果表明,相比其他催化剂,Pt-K/Al2O3有最高的加氢活性和1,2-PDO及1,3-PDO的选择性。对Pt和K在氢解甘油过程中的作用进行了考察。结果表明,0.4Pt-20K/Al2O3有很好的催化活性并对1,2-PDO和1,3-PDO有较好的选择性。在温度为150-225 ℃、压力为10-20bar,空速为0.25-1 h-1、H2/甘油的摩尔比为30-100的范围内对0.4Pt-20K/Al2O3进行了条件实验的考察。结果表明,在温度为180℃、氢气压力为20bar、H2/甘油=30(摩尔比)和空速为0.5 h-1的条件下,甘油转化率为70%,1,2-PDO选达到 89.3%,1,3-PDO 选择性为 1.13%。对0.4Pt-20K/A1203催化剂采用粉末X射线衍射(XRD),扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)、N2物理吸附和程序升温还原(TPR)进行表征。XRD结果表明,K完全分散在Al2O3载体上,并有助于提高催化剂的活性和选择性。

Mechanical, Thermal and Interfacial Properties of Jute Fabric-Reinforced Polypropylene Composites: Effect of Potassium Dichromate

Composites based on jute fabrics and polypropylene was fabricated by heat-press molding technique. The mechanical properties of the composites such as tensile strength, tensile modulus, bending strength, bending modulus and impact strength were measured in dependence of fiber contents. In order to improve fiber-matrix interaction, jute fabrics were treated with aqueous solutions of K2Cr2O7 (0.005-0.05% w/v). Composite prepared with 0.02% K2Cr2O7 treated jute fabrics showed the highest values of the mechanical properties. Thermogravimetric (TG/DTG) data of PP, jute fabrics and composites showed that thermal degradation temperatures of composites shifted to higher temperature regions compared to PP or jute fabrics. Treatment of jute fabrics improved the thermal stability of the composite considerably. Scanning electron microscopic images of tensile fractured sides of untreated and treated composites illustrated that better fiber-matrix interfacial interaction occurred in treated composite. The relative tendency of water absorption of both untreated and treated composites was also explored.
