High-temperature thermal oxidation of an Fe foil produces a high-quality,crystalline hematite nanoflake suitable as a photoanode for the photoelectrochemical(PEC)water *** pre-polishing of the foil surface has a profound effect in the formation of a vertically-aligned nanoflakes of hematite phase with extended(110)planes by removing the loosely-bonded oxide *** the surface of the photoanode is modified with a ZrO_(2) passivation layer and a cobalt phosphate co-catalyst,the charge recombination at the photoanode-electrolyte interface is greatly suppressed to improve its overall PEC *** a result,the photocurrent density at 1.10 VRHE under 1 sun condition is enhanced from 0.22 mA cm^(-2) for an unmodified photoanode to 0.59 mA cm^(-2) for the fully modified photoanode,and the photocurrent onset potential is shifted cathodically by 400 ***,the photoanode demonstrates outstanding stability by showing steady production of H_(2) and O_(2) gases in the stoichiometric ratio of 2:1 in a continuous PEC operation for 10 h.

Aim： To evaluate the effects of metabolic profiles on lower urinary tract symptoms （LUTS） in men with erectile dysfunction （ED）. Methods： A total of 75 impotent men aged 25-75 years old （mean 58.1 years） were included in the study on a prospective basis. Patients were evaluated with a complete history, physical examination, anthropometry and metabolic profiles. LUTS were assessed using the International Prostate Symptom Score （IPSS）. Results： Overall, there was no correlation between the IPSS and continuous parameters. However, when continuous variables were categorized, some parameters were significantly associated with LUTS. Patients with triglyceride level of 150 mg/dL or higher had more severe symptoms than those with tiglyceride levels less than 150 mg/dL （19.4±2.4 vs. 14.3±1.1, P = 0.033）. When 40 mg/dL was chosen as the high-density lipoprotein （HDL）-cholesterol cut-off level, the IPSS was significantly different between the two groups divided by 40 mg/dL （19.4±2.6 for HDL-cholesterol 〈 40 mg/dL vs. 14.4±1.0 for HDL-cholesterol 2 40 mg/dL, P = 0.042）. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve （AUROCC） of triglyceride was 65.7% （95% confidence interval [CI], 52.6%-82.3%; P = 0.034） for severe LUTS. However, the AUROCC for ＇HDL-cholesterol＇ was not significant （area, 65.4%; 95% CI, 48.2%-82.7%; P = 0.062）. No other factors were determined to be significant in this regard. Conclusion： The results of the present study indicate that some metabolic profiles might influence LUTS in men with ED.

Laser assisted machining （LAM） has difficulties in estimating temperature after applying a LAM process due to its very small heat input area, large energy and movement. In particular, in the case of laser assisted turning （LAT） process, it is more difficult to estimate the temperature after preheating because it has a shape of ellipse when a laser heat source is rotated. A prediction method and thermal analysis method for heat source shapes were proposed as a square shaped member was preheated. The temperature distribution was calculated according to the rotation of the member. Compared with the results of the former study, the maximum temperature of the calculation results, 1 407.1 ℃, is 8.5 ℃ higher than that of the square member, which is 1 398.6 ℃. In a LAT process for a square member, the maximum temperature is 1 850.8 ℃. It is recognized that a laser power control process is required because square members show a maximum temperature that exceeds a melting temperature at around a vertex of the member according to the rotation.

Linear precoding methods such as zero-forcing(ZF)are near optimal for downlink massive multi-user multiple input multiple output(MIMO)systems due to their asymptotic channel ***,as the number of users increases,the computational complexity of obtaining the inverse matrix of the gram matrix *** the computational complexity problem,this paper proposes an improved Jacobi(JC)-based precoder to improve error performance of the conventional JC in the downlink massive MIMO *** conventional JC was studied for solving the high computational complexity of the ZF algorithm and was able to achieve parallel ***,the conventional JC has poor error performance when the number of users increases,which means that the diagonal dominance component of the gram matrix is *** this paper,the preconditioning method is proposed to improve the error *** executing the JC,the condition number of the linear equation and spectrum radius of the iteration matrix are reduced by multiplying the preconditioning matrix of the linear *** further reduce the condition number of the linear equation,this paper proposes a polynomial expansion precondition matrix that supplements diagonal *** results show that the proposed method provides better performance than other iterative methods and has similar performance to the ZF.

背景:由于关节软骨再生修复能力有限,自体软骨细胞移植技术为关节软骨损伤的修复提供了较好的修复材料。目的:多中心评估自体软骨细胞移植的短期疗效与安全性。设计、时间及地点:自身前后对照观察,于2001-03/2006-04在韩国80所附属医院完成。对象:软骨缺损患者261例,男169例,女92例,年龄15～70岁,平均36.47岁。软骨缺损面积2.0～20.0cm2。其中股骨髁损伤215例,滑车30例,髌骨25例,胫骨2例。方法:取关节非负重区软骨组织200～300mg,体外培养扩增后将软骨细胞植入患者关节缺损区。于移植后6个月对所有患者进行随访,膝关节功能评估标准采用美国膝关节协会评分系统[Knee society score-A(KSS-A)和Knee society score-B(KSS-B)]。主要观察指标:自体软骨细胞膝关节缺损区移植后KSS-A和KSS-B评分。结果:获得随访患者261例。患者移植前KSS-A评分为63.55±18.47,移植后6个月为88.74±11.47,差异有显著性意义(P<0.05)移植前KSS-B评分为59.56±24.92,移植后6个月为85.13±14.67,差异有显著性意义(P<0.05)。患者移植前后膝关节疼痛、活动度、前后稳定性、屈曲挛缩、伸直迟滞、行走能力和上下楼能力均明显改善(P<0.05)。综合评价移植有效率为97.3%,优良率为89.3%。结论:自体软骨细胞移植可有效的治疗关节软骨缺损,促进膝关节功能的恢复。

AIM To evaluate the efficacy and safety of HL tablet extracted from magnolia officinalis for treating patients with nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).METHODS Seventy-four patients with NAFLD diagnosed by ultrasonography were randomly assigned to 3 groups given high dose(400 mg) HL tablet, low dose(133.4 mg) HL tablet and placebo, respectively, daily for 12 wk. The primary endpoint was post-treatment change of hepatic fat content(HFC) measured by magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Secondary endpoints included changes of serum aspartate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase(ALT), cholesterol, triglyceride, free fatty acid, homeostasis model assessment-estimated insulin resistance, and body mass index(BMI).RESULTS The mean HFC of the high dose HL group, but not of the low dose group, declined significantly after 12 wk of treatment(high dose vs placebo, P = 0.033; low dose vs placebo, P = 0.386). The mean changes of HFC from baseline at week 12 were-1.7% ± 3.1% in the high dose group(P = 0.018),-1.21% ± 4.97% in the low dose group(P = 0.254) and 0.61% ± 3.87% in the placebo group(relative changes compared to baseline, high dose were:-12.1% ± 23.5%, low dose:-3.2% ± 32.0%, and placebo: 7.6% ± 44.0%). Serum ALT levels also tended to decrease in the groups receiving HL tablet while other factors were unaffected. There were no moderate or severe treatment-related safety issues during the *** HL tablet is effective in reducing HFC without any negative lipid profiles, BMI changes and adverse effects.

Monocyte/macrophage lineage cells are highly plastic and can differentiate into various cells under different environmental stimuli. Bone-resorbing osteoclasts are derived from the monocyte/macrophage lineage in response to receptor activator of NF-κB ligand (RANKL). However, the epigenetic signature contributing to the fate commitment of monocyte/macrophage lineage differentiation into human osteoclasts is largely unknown. In this study, we identified RANKL-responsive human osteoclast-specific superenhancers (SEs) and SE-associated enhancer RNAs (SE-eRNAs) by integrating data obtained from ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, nuclear RNA-seq and PRO-seq analyses. RANKL induced the formation of 200 SEs, which are large clusters of enhancers, while suppressing 148 SEs in macrophages. RANKL-responsive SEs were strongly correlated with genes in the osteoclastogenic program and were selectively increased in human osteoclasts but marginally presented in osteoblasts, CD4+ T cells, and CD34+ cells. In addition to the major transcription factors identified in osteoclasts, we found that BATF binding motifs were highly enriched in RANKL-responsive SEs. The depletion of BATF1/3 inhibited RANKL-induced osteoclast differentiation. Furthermore, we found increased chromatin accessibility in SE regions, where RNA polymerase II was significantly recruited to induce the extragenic transcription of SE-eRNAs, in human osteoclasts. Knocking down SE-eRNAs in the vicinity of the NFATc1 gene diminished the expression of NFATc1, a major regulator of osteoclasts, and osteoclast differentiation. Inhibiting BET proteins suppressed the formation of some RANKL-responsive SEs and NFATc1-associated SEs, and the expression of SE-eRNA:NFATc1. Moreover, SE-eRNA:NFATc1 was highly expressed in the synovial macrophages of rheumatoid arthritis patients exhibiting high-osteoclastogenic potential.
