Protection of private key is the most critical part in public key infrastructure(PKI) system since it depends on the confidentiality of private key. Thread of password detection has been known as the vulnerability in this PKI system. Recently, studies have been conducted on Bio PKI system that uses the biometric information of users in order to replace the password type of private key protection in PKI system. However, Bio PKI system also has vulnerability in that biometric information used for protection of private key cannot be reused once it is stolen or lost. So, we propose the method to protect the private key using FIDSEQi which binds sequence to biometric information. The proposed method enhances reusability of biometric information and presents higher attack complexity than the method of authentication by cross matching single biometric information.

In this study,high-damping and conducting epoxy nanocomposites were developed with carbon nanofibers as conducting materials,and zinc oxide particles as piezoelectric *** mechanical and electrical properties,electrical impedance,and loss factors were investigated by uniaxial tensile tests,voltage measurement,impedance measurement,and 3-point bending *** percolation thresholds were found:the percolation threshold of resistivity due to the carbon nanofibers forming conductive networks in the matrix;and the impedance threshold due to the zinc oxide particles acting like electric barriers.A poling treatment of the high-damping and conducting epoxy nanocomposite was considered,and we found that poling treatment helped to make the networks more conductive and to generate voltage from ZnO particles.A high-damping and conducting epoxy nanocomposite with 3 wt%CNF and 10 wt%ZnO exhibited higher loss factor than those of others tested.

A facile synthetic strategy based on a water-based process is developed for the preparation of metal-organic framework (MOF)-derived materials by revisiting the hydrolyzed non-porous metal-organic frameworks (h-MOF). The poor water stability of MOF has been recognized as key limitations for its commercialization and large-scale applications because the hydrolysis resulted in the complete loss of their functionalities. However, we found that the negative effect of hydrolysis on MOF can be nullified during the heat treatment. As similar to the intact MOF, h-MOF can be used as a precursor for the preparation of MOF-derived materials from porous MOF-derived carbons (MDCs) to MDC@ZnO composites. The property of h-MOF-derived materials is almost equivalent to that of MOF-derived materials. In addition, h-MOF turned the weakness of water instability to the strength of facile water-based process for hybridization. With the demonstration of the hybrid composite between h-MDC@ZnO and reduced graphene oxide (rGO) as a prototype example, it exhibited superior electrochemical performance when evaluated as an electrode material for lithium-ion batteries.

Stacking plates of CFRP composite materials are increasingly used because of their unique characteristics. However, unlike other materials used in metallurgy they have a disadvantage of uneven quality and anisotropy when combined with other composites. Hence, specimens of CFRP stacking plates are manufactured by changing orientation angles throughout three quasiisotropic plies （0°/45°/90°/-45°）68, （03°/453°/903°/-453°）2s, and （06°/456°/906°/-456°）s and throughout three cross plies （0°/90°/0°/90°）68, （03 °/903 °/03°/903°）2s, and （06 °/906 °/06°/906°）8 In this study 3-point bending tests and transverse bending tests have been carried out in order to find out mechanical characteristics according to orientation angles by stacking in 6 different types along with the change of stacking composition method of a CFRP composite.

Plants maintain their internal temperature under environments with fluctuating temperatures by adjusting their morphology and architecture,an adaptive process termed ***,the rhythmic patterns of plant thermomorphogenesis are governed by day-length ***,it remains elusive how thermomorphogenic rhythms are regulated by ***,we show that warm temperatures enhance the accumulation of the chaperone GIGANTEA(Gl),which thermostabilizes the DELLA protein,REPRESSOR OF ga1-3(RGA),under long days,thereby attenuating PHYTOCHROME INTERACTING FACTOR 4(PIF4)-mediated *** contrast,under short days,when Gl accumulation is reduced,RGA is readily degraded through the gibberellic acid-mediated ubiquitination-proteasome pathway,promoting thermomorphogenic *** data indicate that the GI-RGA-PIF4 signaling module enables plant thermomorphogenic responses to occur in a day-length-dependent *** propose that the Gl-mediated integration of photoperiodic and temperature information shapes thermomorphogenic rhythms,which enable plants to adapt to diel fluctuations in day length and temperature during seasonal transitions.

Chronic activation of microglial cells endangers neuronal survival through the release of various proinflammatory and neurotoxic factors. The root of Paeonia lactiflora Pall has been considered useful for the treatment of various disorders in traditional oriental medicine. Paeonol, found in the root of Paeonia lactiflora Pall, has a wide range of pharmacological functions, including anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective activities. The objective of this study was to examine the efficacy of paeonol in the repression of inflammation-induced neurotoxicity and microglial cell activation. Organotypic hippocampal slice cultures and primary microglial cells from rat brain were stimulated with bacterial lipopolysaccharide. Paeonol pretreatment was performed for 30 minutes prior to lipopolysaccharide addition. Cell viability and nitrite （the production of nitric oxide）, tumor necrosis factor-alpha and interleukin-lbeta products were measured after lipopolysaccharide treatment. In organotypic hippocampal slice cultures, paeonol blocked lipopolysaccharide-related hippocampal cell death and inhibited the release of nitrite and interleukin-lbeta. Paeonol was effective in inhibiting nitric oxide release from primary microglial cells. It also reduced the lipopolysaccharide-stimulated release of tumor necrosis factor-alpha and intefleukin-1β from microglial cells. Paeonol possesses neuroprotective activity in a model of inflammation-induced neurotoxicity and reduces the release of neurotoxic and proinflammatory factors in activated microglial cells.

A study was undertaken for the prediction of runoff flow from 0.8 ha field-sized agricultural watershed in South Korea using Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) sub-daily. The SWAT model with sub-daily configuration predicted flow from the watershed within the range of acceptable accuracy. The SWAT sub-daily simulations were carried out for a total of 18 rainfall events, 9 each for calibration and validation. Overall trend and extent of matching simulated flow for the rainfall events in 2007-2008 with measured data during the calibration process were coefficient of determination ( ) value of 0.88 and Nash and Sutcliffe Efficiency ( ) value of 0.88. For validation, and values were 0.9 and 0.84, respectively. Whereas and values for simulation results using daily rainfall data were 0.79 and -0.01, respectively, that were observed to be out of acceptable limits for the model simulation. The importance of higher time resolution (hourly) precipitation records for flow simulation were evaluated by comparing and with 15 min, 2 h, 6 h and 12 h precipitation data, which resulted in lower statistics with increases in time resolution of precipitation data. The SWAT sub-daily sensitivity analysis was performed with the consideration of hydraulic parameter and was found as in the rank order of CN2 (curve number), ESCO (soil evaporation compensation factor), GW_DELAY (ground water delay time), ALPHA_BF ( base flow alpha factor), GWQMN ( a threshold minimum depth of water in the shallow aquifer required for return flow to occur) , REVAPMN (minimum depth of water in shallow aquifer for re-evaporation to occur) , LAT_TIME (lateral flow travel time) respectively. These sensitive parameters were evaluated at 10% higher and lower values of the parameters, corresponding to 70.5% higher and 23.2% lower in simulated flow out from the SWAT model. AIM:To examine the technical feasibility and clinical outcomes of the endoscopic insertion of a self-expandable metal stent(SEMS) for the palliation of a malignant anastomotic stricture caused by recurrent gastric ***:The medical records of patients, who had obstructive symptoms caused by a malignant anastomotic stricture after gastric surgery and underwent endoscopic insertion of a SEMS from January 2001 to December 2007 at Kangnam St Mary's Hospital, were reviewed ***:Twenty patients(15 male, mean age 63 years) were *** operations were a total gastrectomy with esophagojejunostomy(n = 12), subtotal gastrectomy with Billroth-—migration occurred with a covered stent in 3 patients who underwent a subtotal gastrectomy with *** cases of partial stent migration were easily treated with a second stent or stent *** median stent patency was 56 d(range, 5-439 d).The median survival was 83 d(range, 12-439 d).CONCLUSION:Endoscopic insertion of a SEMS provides safe and effective palliation of a recurrent anastomotic stricture caused by gastric cancer.A meticulous evaluation of the presence of other strictures before inserting the stent is essential for symptom improvement.
