Objective:Acupuncture is a popular choice for the treatment of Bell’s palsy(BP).However, most patients with BP will recover naturally by *** studies suggested that cortical reorganization played an important role in the course of recovery, and found that anterior cingulate cortex(ACC) was closely related to face *** the ACC’s role in motor performance monitoring and error detection, we hypothesized that functional connectivity of ACC would be enforced in the process of natural recovery of Bell’s ***: Task-state fMRI data were acquired from 37 healthy subjects performing the task of face movement(mouth protruding).Seed points of both sides of ACC related to face movement were first extracted from the group analysis results of the healthy, and then functional connectivity of both sides of ACCs(ipsilateral and contralateral) was analyzed with resting-state fMRI data acquired from 130 patients with different BP onset *** correlation between the degrees of ACC functional connectivity and the onset time was finally analyzed with ***: It was demonstrated that the connectivity of both sides of ACC with sensorimotor areas was increasingly enforced as the onset time became longer, and the connectivity enforcement was more significant in the contralateral than in the ipsilateral *** connectivity of contralateral ACC was found in inferior parietal lobule, postcentral gyrus, precentral gyrus, middle frontal gyrus and medial frontal gyrus while increased connectivity of ipsolateral ACC was found in inferior parietal lobule, and middle frontal ***: It was concluded that the enforcement of connectivity of ACC with the sensorimotor areas, especially the enforcement of connectivity of the contralateral, might result from a compensatory mechanism and play an important role in promoting the cortical reorganization of the natural recovery of BP.

Background Although smoking is classified as a risk factor for severe COVID-19 outcomes,there is a scarcity of studies on prevalence of smoking during the COVID-19 ***,this study aims to analyze the trends of prevalence of smoking in adolescents over the COVID-19 pandemic *** The present study used data from middle to high school adolescents between 2005 and 2021 who participated in the Korea Youth Risk Behavior Web-based Survey(KYRBS).We evaluated the smoking prevalence(ever or daily)by year groups and estimated the slope in smoking prevalence before and during the *** A total of 1,137,823 adolescents participated in the study[mean age,15.04 years[95%confidence interval(CI)15.03-15.06];and male,52.4%(95%CI 51.7-53.1)].The prevalence of ever smokers was 27.7%(95%CI 27.3-28.1)between 2005 and 2008 but decreased to 9.8%(95%CI 9.3-10.3)in 2021.A consistent trend was found in daily smokers,as the estimates decreased from 5.4%(95%CI 5.2-5.6)between 2005 and 2008 to 2.3%(95%CI 2.1-2.5)in ***,the downward slope in the overall prevalence of ever smokers and daily smokers became less pronounced in the COVID-19 pandemic period than in the pre-pandemic *** the subgroup with substance use,the decreasing slope in daily smokers was significantly more pronounced during the pandemic than during the pre-pandemic *** The proportion of ever smokers and daily smokers showed a less pronounced decreasing trend during the *** findings of our study provide an overall understanding of the pandemic's impact on smoking prevalence in adolescents.

背景麻醉致意识消失的作用位点仍不清楚。可能的位点包括大脑皮质、丘脑和网状结构。我们研究了丙泊酚和乙托咪酯对正常动物皮质、丘脑及网状结构神经元功能的影响。方法对5只猫在麻醉状态下放置记录套管和脑电波螺丝钉电极。经过5天恢复期之后，每周重复检查3～4次。在给予丙泊酚或乙托咪酯注射之前、注射期间和注射之后记录大脑皮质（7、18和19区）、丘脑（腹后外侧核、腹后内侧核和内侧膝状体）及网状结构（中脑网状核群和中央被盖区）单个神经元的电活动。皮质神经元的动作电位按脉冲神经元和快速放电神经元分别进行分析。结果丙泊酚和乙托咪酯使皮质神经元自发放电频率降低37％-41％。两种麻醉剂对脉冲神经元和快速放电神经元的作用相似。丙泊酚和乙托咪酯亦使丘脑和网状结构神经元放电频率减低30％～49％。麻醉剂输注期间皮质、丘脑及网状结构脑电图表现相似，均从低幅高频快波变为高幅低频慢波；功率峰值发生于丙泊酚输注期间，频率为12～13Hz。乙托咪酯麻醉期间有2个大的峰值：一个频率为12—14Hz，另一个为7～8Hz。检测过程中猫处于深度镇静状态，瞬目反射和动须反射消失而伤害性刺激}】起的退缩反应保存。结论数据资料显示丙泊酚和乙托咪酯抑制大脑皮质、丘脑及网状结构神经元的作用相似。尽管麻醉剂对神经元电活动的抑制作用可能是麻醉剂致意识消失的潜在机制，但仍需进一步研究阐明上述位点的麻醉剂效应如何相互影响而终致意识消失。

ASSESSMENT OF THE QUALITY OF REPORTING FOR TREATMENT COMPONENTS IN COCHRANE REVIEWS OF ACUPUNCTURE

Freshwater biota are more comprehensive and direct indicators of biological impacts,and more meaningful to the public than water quality or physical habitat *** biotic data and the multiple biological indicators developed from them offer a much richer array of data for assessing the impacts of pollution controls than a limited set of physical or chemical *** recent decades,assemblage-based assessments by ecologists,environmental scientists,and water quality agencies have been employed globally for determining the condition of,and threats to,freshwater ecosystems.A key step in this advance has been the development of multimetric indices(MMIs)or indices of biotic integrity(IBIs)based on quantitative assessments of algae,macrophyte,macroinvertebrate,fish or riparian bird *** Europe,where biological assemblages are mandated for assessing freshwater ecosystem health,many indices are ***,the proliferation of MMIs globally has not always occurred through the application of rigorous study designs and monitoring protocols,nor have they always effectively incorporated functional metrics,stressor assessments,and statistical ***,in this review,we discuss eleven major concerns with the development and application(including logistical limitations)of multimetric indicators based on freshwater biota to encourage more rigorous and widely applicable(transferable)MMI use and ***,our concerns focus on reference conditions;sampling effort,methods,and season;trophic guild definition;metric comprehensiveness,options,screening and scoring;and MMI *** could also benefit from increased attention to ecological mechanisms and metric development,to further improve our understanding of anthropogenic impacts as well as rehabilitation effects on freshwater ecosystems *** closer attention to study designs,ecological mechanisms and metric development should further improve our understa

Background: Because the cause and etiology of chronic headache is not yet fully explained, the treatment of this symptom is not simple. This study compares the effects of aroma acupuncture and normal acupuncture applied on chronic headache patients, in order to establish a primary data for further studies of new treatments and developments of new practical acupuncture. Methods: 38 clinical experiment participants were gathered and through a questionnaire patients who experienced headache for more than 4 hours a day and more than 15 days per month were qualified as chronic headache patients. The qualified patients were classified into two groups, aroma acupuncture group (Aroma AT group, n=23) and normal acupuncture group (AT group, n=15).

[背景]越来越多的证据显示,母亲空气污染暴露与对胎儿生长的不良影响之间存在关联;但是,现有的文献并不一致。[目的]研究9个国家14个中心的数据,量化母亲颗粒物空气污染暴露与足月出生体重和低出生体重(LBW)之间的关联,并探讨此关联中地点特征和暴露评估方法对中心之间异质性的影响。[方法]空气污染与妊娠结局国际合作(ICAPPO)的各中心采用共同的分析方案,对PM10和PM2.5(颗粒物≤10和2.5μm)与足月LBW和连续出生体重进行效应评估。采用meta分析将各个中心(~300万例出生)的效应评估结合起来,并采用meta回归分析在报告的效应评估中,中心特征和暴露评估方法对中心之间异质性的影响。[结果]随机效应meta分析显示,调整母亲的社会经济地位后,在整个妊娠期间,足月LBW与PM10[比值比(OR)=1.03;95%CI:1.01~1.05]和PM2.5[OR=1.10;95%CI:1.03~1.18]每增加10μg/m3呈正相关。在充分调整随机效应的meta分析中,作为一个连续性的结果,PM10暴露每增加10μg/m3与足月出生体重呈负相关(-8.9g;95%CI:-13.2^-4.6 g)。meta回归分析显示,具有较高平均PM2.5水平和PM2.5∶PM10比率的中心,以及采用时间暴露评估(与时空相比)的中心,所报告的关联更强。[结论]在研究人群中,母亲颗粒物污染暴露与足月LBW相关联。有3个地点特征和暴露评估方法学方面的不同导致各个中心报告的关联的差异。

Numerous new taxa and classifications of Dothideomycetes have been published following the last monograph of families of Dothideomycetes in 2013.A recent publication by Honsanan et *** 2020 expanded information of families in Dothideo-mycetidae and Pleosporomycetidae with modern *** this paper,we provide a refined updated document on orders and families incertae sedis of *** family is provided with an updated description,notes,including figures to represent the morphology,a list of accepted genera,and economic and ecological *** also provide phylogenetic trees for each *** this study,31 orders which consist 50 families are assigned as orders incertae sedis in Dothideomycetes,and 41 families are treated as families incertae sedis due to lack of molecular or morphological *** new order,Catinellales,and four new families,Catinellaceae,Morenoinaceae Neobuelliellaceae and Thyrinulaceae are *** genera(Neobuelliella,Pseudomicrothyrium,Flagellostrigula,Swinscowia,Macroconstrictolumina,Pseudobogoriella,and Schummia)are *** new species(Acrospermum urticae,Bogoriella complexoluminata,Dothiorella ostryae,Dyfrolomyces distoseptatus,Macroconstrictolumina megalateralis,Patellaria microspora,and Pseu-domicrothyrium thailandicum)are introduced base on morphology and phylogeny,together with two new records/reports and five new collections from different *** new combinations are also provided in this paper.
