Entire onion source-derived redox porous carbon electrodes towards efficient quasi-solid-state solar charged hybrid supercapacitor

Biomass-derived electrodes inherently containing redox-active species have gained extensive attention recently due to their availability,eco-friendliness,sustainability,and low *** report novel binder-free faradic surface redox onion-derived carbon positive electrode with nano regime particles by hydrothermal synthesis and Na^(+)and Cl^(−)ions diffused porous carbon negative electrode via a carbonization ***-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirmed the presence of oxidized sulfur and(N-6)pyridinic N-based redox groups inherently present in the as-prepared *** electrochemical analysis of the positive electrode revealed its faradic redox type of energy storage mechanism with an excellent specific capacitance of 1805 Fg^(-1) at the current density of 3 Ag^(-1) as well as appreciable long-term cycling stability(76.8%retention after 10000 charge-discharge cycles).Meanwhile,the negative electrode exhibited a maximum specific capacitance of 373 Fg^(-1) at 1 Ag^(-1) with outstanding long-term cycling stability(100.7%retention after 10000 cycles).The fabricated polyvinyl alcohol-potassium hydroxide gel electrolyte-based quasi-solid-state hybrid supercapacitor(QHSC)delivered excellent energy density and power density of 19.94 Wh kg^(-1) and 374.99 W kg^(-1),respectively with an ultralong cyclic life(102.3% retention)over 10000 ***,the QHSC was connected to a solar panel to store renewable *** charged QHSC effectively powered a speedometer,enlightening its potential application in advanced sustainable energy storage systems.

Current innovations and future prospects of metal oxide electrospun materials for supercapacitor technology:A review

Porous 2D materials with high conductivity and large surface area have been proposed for potential electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding materials in future mobility and wearable applications to prevent signal noise,transmission inaccuracy,system malfunction,and health ***,we report on the synthesis of lightweight and flexible flash-induced porous graphene(FPG)with excellent EMI shielding *** broad spectrum of pulsed flashlight induces photo-chemical and photo-thermal reactions in polyimide films,forming 5×10 cm^(2)-size porous graphene with a hollow pillar structure in a few *** resulting material demonstrated low density(0.0354 g cm^(−3))and outstanding absolute EMI shielding effectiveness of 1.12×10^(5) dB cm^(2) g^(−1).The FPG was characterized via thorough material analyses,and its mechanical durability and flexibility were confirmed by a bending cycle ***,the FPG was utilized in drone and wearable applications,showing effective EMI shielding performance for internal/external EMI in a drone radar system and reducing the specific absorption rate in the human body.

Surface-engineered binder-free PEDOT shielded nickel magnesium selenide nanosheet arrays electrode for ultralong-life flexible quasi-solid-state hybrid supercapacitors

Together with the development of high-performance advanced electronics,flexible supercapacitors(SCs)with tailored nanostructures have great *** deposited nanosheet arrays of nickel magnesium selenide(NixMg3-xSe4,NMgS)with high capacitance provide high potentials as a positive electrode in flexible *** further enhance their electrochemical properties and long-term cycling stability,a promising strategy of surface engineering with conducting polymer poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)(PEDOT)is *** present work proposes the construction of PEDOT shielded NMgS(P@NMgS-2)on a flexible carbon cloth substrate via a hierarchical electrodeposition *** from the synergistic effect,the P@NMgS-2 exhibits an excellent areal capacitance value of 1440 mF cm^(-2)at 4 mA cm^(-2).A novel shape-adaptable polymer gel electrolyte-assisted flexible quasi-solid-state hybrid SC(FQHSC)device constructed with P@NMgS-2 as a positive electrode and activated carbon as a negative electrode demonstrates the maximum power and energy density values of 14.13 mW cm^(-2)and 0.18 mWh cm^(-2),respectively,followed by outstanding cycling stability(∼100%capacitance retention over 50,000 cycles).Furthermore,the FQHSC device successfully powered electronic devices with no serious degradation upon bending and twisting for wearable electronic applications.

Question-Answering Pair Matching Based on Question Classification and Ensemble Sentence Embedding

Question-answering(QA)models find answers to a given *** necessity of automatically finding answers is increasing because it is very important and challenging from the large-scale QA data *** this paper,we deal with the QA pair matching approach in QA models,which finds the most relevant question and its recommended answer for a given *** studies for the approach performed on the entire dataset or datasets within a category that the question writer manually *** contrast,we aim to automatically find the category to which the question belongs by employing the text classification model and to find the answer corresponding to the question within the *** to the text classification model,we can effectively reduce the search space for finding the answers to a given ***,the proposed model improves the accuracy of the QA matching model and significantly reduces the model inference ***,to improve the performance of finding similar sentences in each category,we present an ensemble embedding model for sentences,improving the performance compared to the individual embedding *** real-world QA data sets,we evaluate the performance of the proposed QA matching *** a result,the accuracy of our final ensemble embedding model based on the text classification model is 81.18%,which outperforms the existing models by 9.81%∼14.16%***,in terms of the model inference speed,our model is faster than the existing models by 2.61∼5.07 times due to the effective reduction of search spaces by the text classification model.

Site-selective oral delivery of therapeutic antibodies to the inflamed colon via a folic acid-grafted organic/inorganic hy brid nanocomposite system

This study aimed to develop a pH-responsive folic acid-grafted organic/inorganic hybrid nanocomposite system for site-selective oral delivery of therapeutic antibodies. A folic acid-grafted aminoclay(FA-AC) was prepared via an in situ sol-gel method. Then, a drug-loaded nanocomplex was prepared via the electrostatic interaction of FA-AC with infliximab(IFX), a model antibody, and coated with Eudragit? S100(EFA-AC-IFX). FA-AC exhibited favorable profiles as a drug carrier including low cytotoxicity, good target selectivity, and capability to form a nanocomplex with negatively charged macromolecules. A pH-responsive FA-AC-based nanocomplex containing IFX(EFA-AC-IFX) was also obtained in a narrow size distribution with high entrapment efficiency(>87%). The conformational stability of IFX entrapped in EFA-AC-IFX was well maintained in the presence of proteolytic enzymes. EFA-ACIFX exhibited pH-dependent drug release, minimizing premature drug release in gastric conditions and the upper intestine. Accordingly, oral administration of EFA-AC-IFX to colitis-induced mice was effective in alleviating the progression of ulcerative colitis, while oral IFX solution had no efficacy. These results suggest that a pH-responsive FA-AC-based nanocomposite system can be a new platform for the site-selective oral delivery of therapeutic antibodies.

Pleckstrin Homology-Like Domain, Family A, Member 1 (PHLDA1): A Multifaceted Cell Survival Factor that Drives Metabolic Disease

Pleckstrin homology-like domain, family A, member 1 (PHLDA1) is a multifaceted intracellular protein belonging to the evolutionarily conserved pleckstrin homology-related domain family. Its murine homologue, T-cell death-associated 51 (TDAG51) gene, was initially discovered for its role in activation-induced apoptosis in T-cell hybridomas. In recent years, PHLDA1 has received increased attention due to its association with obesity, fatty liver disease, diabetes, atherosclerosis, and cancer. Accumulating evidence also supports its role in endoplasmic reticulum stress signaling pathways as a crucial mediator of apoptosis, autophagy, and cell proliferation. In this review, the current knowledge of PHLDA1 gene and protein regulation, localization, and function is summarized. This review highlights the pro- and anti-apoptotic roles of PHLDA1 that contribute to vast array of metabolic diseases.

Multicomponent mixed metallic hierarchical ZnNi@Ni@PEDOT arrayed structures as advanced electrode for high-performance hybrid electrochemical cells

Engineering multicomponent nanomaterials as an electrode with rationalized ordered structures is a promising strategy for fulfilling the high-energy storage needs of supercapacitors(SCs).Even now,the fundamental barrier to utilizing hydroxides/hydroxyl carbonates is their poor electrochemical performance,resulting from the significantly poor electrical conductivity and sluggish charge storage ***,a multilayered structural approach is primarily and successfully used to construct electrodes as one of the efficient *** method has made it possible to develop well-ordered nanostructured electrodes with good performance by taking advantage of tunable approach ***,we report the design of multilayered heterostructure porous zinc-nickel nanosheets@nickel flakes hydroxyl carbonates and/or hydroxides integrated with conductive PEDOT fibrous network(i.e.,ZnNi@Ni@PEDOT) via facile synthesis *** combined hybrid electrode acquires the features of high electrical conductivity from one part and various valance states from another one to develop a well-organized nanosheet/flake/fibrous-like heterostructure with decent mechanical strength,creating robust synergistic ***,the designed binder-free ZnNi@Ni@PEDOT electrode delivers a high areal capacity value of 1050.1 μA h cm^(-2) at 3 mA cm^(-2) with good cycling durability,significantly outperforming other individual ***,its feasibility is also tested by constructing a hybrid electrochemical cell(HEC).The assembled HEC exhibits a high areal capacity value of 783.8 μA h cm^(-2) at5 mA cm^(-2).and even at a high current density of 100 mA cm^(-2)(484.6 μA h cm^(-2)),the device still retains a rate capability of 61,82%,Also,the HEC shows maximum energy and power densities of0.595 mW h cm^(-2) and 77.23 mW cm^(-2),respectively,along with good cycling *** obtained energy storage capabilities effectively power various electronic *** results provide a v
