采用泰勒图和偏差分析等统计方法,评估分析了德国区域气候模式(REMO)对中国1989—2008年气温和降水的模拟能力。结果表明:REMO气温模拟值与观测值空间相关系数为0.94,降水空间相关系数较低(0.42),气温模拟结果明显优于降水;从空间偏差上看,在中国大部分地区,REMO模拟的气温高于观测值,偏差在±4℃以内,青藏高原整体有明显的-4^-2℃的冷偏差;模拟的降水值则高于观测值,空间偏差分布较均匀,中国大部分地区偏差在±300mm之内;除青藏高原、华南和西南地区外,REMO能较准确地反映出中国气温和降水的空间分布特征,其中华北和东北地区模拟效果最好;REMO对夏季气温和冬季降水的模拟能力相对较好;REMO在地形起伏较大地区的模拟能力有待提高。

Objective:To identify bacteria isolated from diseased Southern flounder and determine whether they are virulent to channel catfish and Nile ***:Gram-negative bacteria isolates were recovered from five tissues of diseased Southern flounder(Paralichthys lethostigma).The isolates were subjected to biochemical and molecular identification followed by virulence study in ***:Based on biochemical analysis,the 25 isolates were found to share homologies with either Edwardsiella tarda(***)or Aeromonas hydrophila(***).Based on sequencing results of partial 16S rRNA gene,15 isolates shared 100%identities with the 16S rRNA sequence of previously identified *** strain TX1,whereas the other 10 isolates shared 100%identities with the 16S rRNA sequence of previously identified *** strain *** healthy fish were exposed to flounder isolate by intracoelomic injection,the LD50 values of flounder isolate *** to channel catfish or Nile tilapia[(10±2)g]were 6.1×10^(4)and 1.1×10^(7)CFU/fish,respectively,whereas that of flounder isolate *** to channel catfish and Nile tilapia were 1.4×10^(7)and 5.6×10^(7)CFU/fish,***:This is the first report that *** and *** isolated from diseased Southern flounder are virulent to catfish and tilapia.

The grazing-incidence hard X-ray retro-reflector (GIRR) is a novel optical element, which completely suppresses the conventional mirror beam in the retro-reflection mode, and, at the same time, totally reflects the primary grazing incident X-radiation backwards to its source in strictly anti-parallel direction with minimal scattering. The GIRR is a good alternative to hard X-ray normal-incidence Bragg mirror, and has a high potential for applications in various X-ray optical devices and techniques, such as, hard X-ray optical noise (or background) filters, high-quality hard X-ray waveguides, low-gain hard X-ray free electron laser resonators (XFELRs), X-ray holography, coherent X-ray diffraction imaging, phase-contrast imaging, as well as in hard X-ray optical data storage devices and deep space hard X-ray communications. The proposed optical element consists of single-crystal wafer covered by a thin, non-diffracting layer of low-absorbing material.

Background:Drug resistance is one of the greatest challenges of malaria control programmes,with the monitoring of parasite resistance to artemisinins or to Artemisinin Combination Therapy(ACT)partner drugs critical to elimination *** of resistance to a wide panel of antimalarials were assessed in natural parasite populations from southwestern ***:Individuals with asymptomatic parasitaemia or uncomplicated malaria were enrolled through crosssectional surveys from May 2013 to March 2014 along the slope of mount *** falciparum malaria parasitaemic blood,screened by light microscopy,was depleted of leucocytes using CF11 cellulose columns and the parasite genotype ascertained by sequencing on the Illumina HiSeq ***:A total of 259 participants were enrolled in this study from three different *** some alleles associated with drug resistance in pfdhfr,pfmdr1 and pfcrt were highly prevalent,less than 3%of all samples carried mutations in the pfkelch13 gene,none of which were amongst those associated with slow artemisinin parasite clearance rates in Southeast *** most prevalent haplotypes were triple mutants PfdhfrI51R59N108I164(99%),pfcrt-C72v73I74E75T76(47.3%),and single mutants PfdhpsS_(436)G_(437)K_(540)A_(581)A_(613)(69%)and Pfmdr1 N_(86)F)(184)D_(1246)(53.2%).Conclusions:The predominance of the Pf pfcrt CvIET and Pf dhfr IRN triple mutant parasites and absence of pfkelch13 resistance alleles suggest that the amodiaquine and pyrimethamine components of AS-AQ and SP may no longer be effective in their role while chloroquine resistance still persists in southwestern Cameroon.

High-temperature superconductivity in ceramic oxides is a new technology in which advances are occurring at a rapid pace. Here, the author describes some properties of a new nano crystalline ceramic Type II superconductor, PbSrCaCuO. Type II superconductors are usually made of metal alloys or complex oxide ceramics. The PSCCO perovskite phase structure was prepared by the conventional solid state reaction technique. In order to show the viability of the proposed method, super-conducting powder was prepared in special furnace. The sample was analyzed by X-ray Diffraction (XRD), Particle size determination, SEM and EDX. The comparison of XRD results with JCPDS files confirmed the orthorhombic structure of the sample with a ≠ b ≠ c and α = β = γ = 90°. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) studies revealed that its particle size is in the nanometer range. It also confirmed the calculated value of particle size from Debye Scherrer’s formula. EDX spectrum shows the elements of the sample. X-ray instrumental peak broadening analysis was used to evaluate the size and lattice strain by the Williamson-Hall Plot method.
